This is the perfect venue for a wedding! Lauren is an absolute pleasure to work with. I literally could not have planned this wedding without her help. The ceremony in the bank lobby was perfect, and the reception in the Grille was magical. The staff are absolute professionals! The best steak and shrimp! It was absolutely perfect!

My husband and I are so thrilled to have held our wedding reception at the Dallas Petroleum Club. The view is stunning and our guests were so impressed with how beautiful the venue was. In addition to being beautiful, the food is outstanding and a great value for such good quality. The chef is very flexible and your coordinator will work with you on custom tailoring your menu to fit your exact needs. We worked with Sarah and she was fantastic, she thought of things I wouldn't have thought about, paid attention to the tiny details, was prompt and responsive in her communication. She made the planning process a piece of cake and was there to make sure that everything was flawless the night of the wedding. Overall we could not be more pleased with the experience that we had at the Petroleum Club! Would 100% recommend to others.

A friend told us that if we reserved at the Petroleum Club in Dallas, it would be the absolute best party we had ever been to...and they were right. The professionalism of the staff is unparalleled. Everything was anticipated and taken care of; the venue is breathtaking, the food was delicious (we had so many compliments on the food), and the service was impeccable. This night, and the entire planning of the night, was truly perfect.

The Dallas Petroleum Club and the caterer, Sarah Neuhoff, were amazing. From the first day we went to see the venue and meet with Sarah, we left knowing this is where we would get married. The indoor garden was beautiful overlooking downtown dallas for our wedding. The reception room overlooking south dallas and the fair grounds was great as well. The Petroleum club was very professional and organized. Sarah gave us suggestions for vendors, and had the whole wedding organized and worked with us the entire time. We loved our wedding here and recommend the Dallas Petroleum Club to anyone asking for advice!! Oh and the food was AMAZING!! Sarah provides extra touches that make your wedding go perfect. Thank you Sarah.

We used Sky Lobby within The Dallas Petroleum Club. Overall, our experience was superb, and we had a great reception. We had a lot of assistance from the coordinator leading up to the reception and really felt informed.

The great things about this venue are as follows:
    (1) The food is outstanding. We were extremely pleased with all choices.
    (2) The views from Sky Lobby are phenomenal. You get the Dallas sky line, dancing under the stars, and a modern space. Superb.
    (3) The service from the staff at our reception was fantastic. They passed appetizers and drinks when guests arrived, helped serve drinks at the bar, kept tables clear of used plates/glasses, and passed champagne out before our toasts. Truly incredible.
    (4) The coordinator provided wonderful recommendations on our menu, other vendors, timing of the event, and helped it all come together. He was a huge help leading up to the reception, and I am grateful for everything he did.

The only issues I encountered were the week/day of the wedding.
    (1) I took the items needed for the reception on Thursday to the site and had been told I could personally come after 10am on the day of the wedding to set out some of our décor that the florist wasn’t involved with. After 10am all linens were to be on the table and all the boxes would be placed by the respective tables. I show up on my wedding day and had to put linens on the tables I was decorating, find someone to unlock the room where my boxes had been stored, and then set everything up. Something that should have taken 10 minutes to do took us nearly an hour. In most cases that wouldn’t be an issue, but it could have caused problems if I had arrived later in the day. I wouldn’t have gotten ready in time.
    (2) I had been told The Dallas Petroleum Club would provide an easel for my bridal portrait. However, my bridal portrait was never placed on an easel; instead, it was resting on our entry table all night. Not a big deal, but it wasn’t displayed at all.
    (3) We had paid for a candle project that was supposed to be 100 candles placed in one area of the cocktail room, but they ended up being spread throughout the space. I already had candles coming with the florist for that.
    (4) The coordinator was there when we arrived but disappeared towards the end of the evening for a while. My dad never said his welcome because no one told him to go, and I had to personally find the coordinator so we could do our bouquet/garter tosses before our exit. Upon the coordinator’s recommendation from The Dallas Petroleum Club, I had not hired a wedding planner because I was told he would be there to make sure everything unfolded without a kink. In retrospect, we didn’t need a planner for anything except the reception.
    (5) We had discussed reserving tables for family/wedding party, and the reserved signs were not placed on the tables.
