  The best of the best

  Daniel is absolutely amazing. From the moment we had our google meet, I knew he was the photographer I was going to go with. He has such positive energy and really tries to get to know you as a couple and not a transaction. He was absolutely amazing on my wedding day. Obsessed with the sneak peeks and can't wait to see the rest. I cannot say enough about him. Highly recommend :)

  Best Wedding Videographer in NYC. Period.

  We cannot recommend Daniel highly enough. He is a consummate professional and a master at what he does.
  
  First and foremost, the movies that he made for us were breathtaking. We chose Daniel after seeing the sample films on his website; the quality quotient of those films was above and beyond anyone else’s that we’d seen and so we knew the bar would be high. However, even that couldn’t prepare us for how amazing it was to see our own film; it truly felt like we had come out of a Hollywood set. All the little comments and notes that we’d sent him were incorporated in the most beautiful ways and the editing really recaptured all the most magical moments of our day.
  
  Just as importantly, Daniel displayed an absolute masterclass on how to make the wedding day effortless and enjoyable as a vendor. Daniel went above and beyond in working with us to optimize our schedule, letting us know which parts of the day historically take longer than planned, where we might want to build in time buffers, etc, helping ensure that the day went as smoothly as possible. He also kindly offered his time before the wedding to better get to know us personally and to get additional shots ahead of the chaos that is the wedding day.
  
  Daniel displayed boundless creativity in getting the best shot possible, making the most out of any background and lighting. We have not yet seen our final video but if the shots he shared during the day and his body of work are representative (that’s why we chose him after all), we have absolute confidence in the delivery of a tremendous product.
  
  One thing that stands out about Daniel is his attention to detail. He put in the work to scout our locations ahead of time (not just the venue but also our getting ready location, first look location, etc), which was extremely appreciated. His detail-orientation also came through in the questions he asked us before the process began. He sought to understand our history and relationship, our personalities and the parts of our wedding that meant the most to us in order to best craft our story.
  
  He is very easy to speak to and work with, which made all the mundane aspects of the day (posing, getting shots) enjoyable and effortless. One understated quality in a videographer / photographer is their ability to direct the wedding party, other vendors as well as any crowds (especially in NYC!) to get the perfect shots and Daniel was absolutely able to step up to the role to capture perfection in every shot.
  
  We would also note that Daniel was quick, prompt, and insightful with all his replies, giving us tremendous peace of mind that he was on top of our event. We would not hesitate to recommend Daniel to anyone and plan to actively recommend him to any of our friends that are getting married.

  Genuinely a great person with passion for his work

  While I didn't choose this vendor due to our own budget for the wedding, I am willingly taking my time to write this review because he has been above and beyond. You rarely come across someone who simply wants to be helpful, regardless of whether you choose him or not. Daniel was so generous with his help and he has spoken to me for about 2 hrs during the initial consultation. Even after I told him frankly that I don't think we'll be able to hire him given the budget, he offered to lend his expertise in choosing the right videographer. While I'm still searching for one, his feedback and input have been helpful and I deeply appreciate it, because he doesn't need to put in time to do that for us. Every once in a while you just come across someone who's genuinely well-intended and is a kind human being, and Daniel is one of them. I think any couple would be so lucky to work with him! I was tempted to increase our budget and hire him, but my partner and I had envisioned a small intimate wedding with a certain budget. I'll definitely recommend him to my friends who plan their wedding in the future!

  Amazing videographer!

  Daniel was absolutely amazing to work with right from the beginning!! He is so dedicated and passionate and we could not have asked for anyone better! Daniel is very organized and caring and really takes the time to get to know his couples. He was super helpful not just with the videography, but with the wedding planning process as well! He gave us helpful advice and recommendations when we needed or asked for it and made everything go so smoothly! Daniel went above and beyond to capture all the moments of our wedding day and even stayed later to get extra footage for us! My husband and I definitely feel awkward in front of the camera, but Daniel made us feel so comfortable with his energy! Daniel’s talent truly shows in each of the wedding films he makes! He really puts in a lot of time and effort to make a film that is unique to each couple! We are so blown away and happy with our wedding film and all the choices Daniel made were perfect! We truly cannot thank Daniel enough for the amazing work he has done to create a beautiful wedding film for us to look back on and relive our wedding day for years to come!   Best Videographer!

  We LOVED working with Daniel for our wedding video. My husband and I eloped, and we wanted something to be able to show our families/friends later. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera - he made us laugh and come out of our shells. He really captured our day beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the final video. He captured some really cute moments that we didn't even realize were being filmed! Daniel made it easy from the very first phone call to the very final video delivery. You won't be disappointed if you hire him!

  I can’t say enough about our wedding videographer Daniel. He did an Awesome job the day of the wedding. It went by so smoothly that sometimes you hardly knew he was there. His professionalism and care were unmatched. I felt like I had a famous movie producer filming my wedding. The wedding film we received was beyond our expectation! It blew us away with the beautiful story, gorgeous shots and attention to detail. The film was so us and I can’t imagine anyone else who can create it with such personal details.
  If you are going back and forth about hiring a videographer to film your wedding let me help you decide right now. To have someone like Daniel film your wedding would give you a cherished memory of a day that you don’t get to relive again. One day and it goes by so fast, having a memory like this is worth every penny trust me. A Great Big Huge Thank you goes out to Daniel for doing an outstanding job and giving me an irreplaceable memory of my wedding day. I highly recommend him.

  Wonderful from start to finish

  Daniel was wonderful to work with from start to finish! His work exceeded my expectations, and he captured everything I asked for and more! He was very flexible and even allowed to have additional add-ons last minute, the week of the wedding! Both Daniel and his second videographer were so nice and did a great job of capturing the joy and excitement of our wedding day.

  1000000/5 stars for Daniel! He is the sweetest! From beginning to end he was a JOY to work with! He came to our hotel early to get videos of us all throughout the morning AND stayed late to make sure he captured all the fun surprises throughout the night! He wound up going over our 8 hour timeframe and was so gracious with his time. He was totally invested in our planning for 2.5 years and he NAILED the final cuts of our big day!! He is a master of his trade. The songs he chose, the moments he highlighted, the perfection of it all!! We were blown away and have watched it so many times already! We cry every time! We purchased the ceremony cut, a highlight film, and a feature film. He threw in another alternate highlight film because he is THE BEST! Thank you times a MILLION, Daniel! Love, Stef and Cadie

  Best Vendor Ever - Truly!!

  Not only is he the best vendor in the world, Daniel Wu is the best HUMAN in the world. The quality & care of his work and him as a person is truly unmatched. We could literally cry from thankfulness that we found him. He lifted us up and guided us through even the most stressful of times through the planning process and wedding day. He is the most organized and puts the utmost care into truly getting to know his couples. We get the chills every time we even just think about our wedding highlight and ceremony video. We are high school sweethearts and Daniel captured our story SOOOO perfectly and genuinely, it’s truly as if he’s been with us from day one of our relationship. He flawlessly captured the dynamic between us - our soft love for one another and our silly crazy love too. And he did such an amazing job at capturing the dynamics of our family and friends, which we will hold dear forever. It was as if he was part of the family! Our friends & family still rave about how much they love him! For anyone reading this review, choosing video with Daniel was hands down the best choice we ever made.   Daniel's Magic!

  Working with Daniel was an absolute dream! He truly understands the craft and art of capturing magical moments on film. Our wedding venue was an aquarium, a spectacular but potentially challenging location in terms of lighting. However, Daniel and his assistant tackled this with absolute finesse, perfectly capturing the undersea dreamland!
  
  What set Daniel apart was his attention to detail, capturing everything we wanted and more. When asked about specific details we'd like to include, we requested a scene featuring the stingrays. Daniel's execution far exceeded our expectations: our silhouettes were elegantly captured against the aquarium tank, perfectly timed with the graceful dance of the stingrays soaring through the water. It was simply perfection!
  
  The final video was beyond anything we could have imagined. The edits, the music, and the voiceover skillfully wove a story of love and joy, perfectly encapsulating our wedding day.

Our wedding venue was an aquarium, a spectacular but potentially challenging location in terms of lighting.   Daniel created an extremely beautiful video for us that we love to watch over and over again. He is extremely responsive, has a quick turnaround time, and is wonderful to work with. He made us feel comfortable even though we're camera shy!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

He took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple to really understand how we wanted to remember our special day together. Honestly it felt less like we were working with a videographer and more like we were working with one of our close friends.
  
  On our actual wedding, it never felt forced, it just felt like he was capturing the moments of our day. He and his team were so much fun to hang around as well and it honestly felt so natural to have them be a part of our day.
  
  But the icing on the cake, is the amazing job that he did in making our wedding video. Anyone can film and send you a video of the day.   I'll preface this review by saying that we were extra picky about selecting a videographer. We wanted a wedding video that captured us as individuals, not just us on our wedding day. We scoured through many other videographer's wedding reels, and most were either formulaically cheesy or mediocre in film quality.   Absolutely Incredible!!

  We must have looked through a hundred videographers and once we saw Daniel's work, we knew he was the one. His videos are incredible and his aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for. Daniel was so responsive to my initial inquiry and immediately scheduled a phone call with us to get to know us and go over the process. We felt very at ease with our first conversation. We knew Daniel had to be our videographer. After we booked Daniel, we had to make several changes due to COVID. Daniel was always flexible with us and willing to move dates and change times, etc. He was so great to work with. Leading up to the wedding we had multiple calls and emails to go over additional ideas I had for more footage. We decided to add more time to our package to have Daniel start at the hotel, and I am so glad that we did. On the day of, he was great. He worked seamlessly and effortlessly to get all of the footage we wanted. We just received our highlight film and feature film today and we are simply blown away with the videos. He captured our day perfectly. Hiring Daniel was the best decision we made. We are so excited to have these videos to look back on forever. Thank you for everything Daniel!!

  The Ultimate Storyteller!!!!

  AHHHHH!!! I can't count the number of times I've shrieked, gasped, smiled, laughed, cried, AND hugged with my husband while watching our wedding video! The wedding video arrived on a day we really needed a pick-me-up - so it was a super special surprise. He is the ultimate storyteller. Daniel is a breath of fresh air and has a kind spirit about him. He really captured our story from beginning to end and did a wonderful job including as many friends and family as he could while still highlighting our love. The accompanying music was PERFECT..."waiting for the moment to arrive" is one of the lyrics of the song he chose and it describes our feelings to a T. Like many couples, we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, so we couldn't wait to celebrate and get married. We really appreciated him capturing our parent dances and the way he treated my video montage of my dad who passed away, so dearly and beautifully.   The best decision!

  We went back and forth on whether or not to have a videographer and I am so happy we did! There is just something that a video captures so much more than a photo can. Daniel did such a great job at making us feel comfortable and suggesting what to do for great clips. I think I’ve watched it over 100 times already. We couldn’t be more happy with the turn out and would highly suggest Daniel!

  Our Fairytale came True

  First, Daniel is an absolute lovely gentleman, super professional, I didn't lift a finger he took care of everything and made it into a fairytale, I couldn't believe how gorgeous the video came out! We look like movie stars, his take on the wedding was just magical, all I told him was make it a fantasy and he blew it out of the water. Stole our hearts from the very beginning and amazing throughout. Best money ever spent! So talented and what a film maker!!!
