  Part of the Family

  I do not have words. Danielle and I met years ago, and I knew right away she was the only one I would trust to shoot our wedding. Boy was I right. Danielle was my go-to for wedding support, was a calm presence when things became chaotic, and was flexible with all the changes I threw at her (including pushing our wedding 9 months due to covid). She truly cares about her clients and it shows not only in the way she carries herself but in the way she captures images as though you are her family. She was able to capture everything we could have wanted out of our wedding and then some. When last minute plans changed at the end of our wedding night, she even went out of her way to call our transportation company to ensure our ride was ready when we were. I could not recommend her more – beyond my go-to photographer, I also consider her my friend and support.

  Wonderful wonderful wonderful

  WE LOVE DANIELLE!
  We spoke to one other photographer before speaking with Danielle, and after talking to her we knew immediately that she was the perfect photographer for our wedding.
  She gave us SO much information, and so many things to consider when it came to hiring somebody to document our wedding.
  Not only was it the photos we viewed on her website, but just the vibe we got from Danielle that was the reason we hired her.
  She was there early for the wedding to take getting ready pictures, she took so many pictures not only of the wedding party, but of the guests as well which is so wonderful! Every time I look at the photos I find a new favorite. I love that we have these photos to remember our special day by. Not only are these pictures beautiful, but they are so meaningful. Daniel was there taking photos of moments that we would not have remembered happening.
  As my now husband and I were looking through the pictures we were so impressed by how "invisible" Danielle had made herself. This is not to say we did not want her around us by any means!! We just had not noticed her being there during the first look, the first dance, and other intimate and personal moments during the wedding. It is so wonderful how we now have those moments captured without us having felt awkward being photographed. If I ever have an event in which needs to be photographed, I will ONE MILLION PERCENT hire Danielle again! She is worth her weight in gold, and I recommend her to anybody and everybody wanting a sweet, kind, and professional photographer. We can't thank her enough!

  Great eye and great to work with!

  Danielle was an absolutely integral part of our wedding day and an awesome element of our vendor team. When we set out to line up vendors, our goal was to find folks to work with who were local, small, good at their role, and people we would enjoy working with and could see ourselves being friends with. Danielle was a perfect fit! She is super fun to work with, and put us and our guests at ease while she did the hard work of taking great pictures that captured the day beautifully. Our golden hour session with Danielle was a highlight of the day, and it felt like she was enjoying it as much as we were. We got our photos back recently, and they are incredible! Danielle strikes a rare balance of artistic and candid that is just beautiful, and we feel so lucky we got to work with her!

  There are no words to describe just how fabulous Danielle is as a wedding photographer! I was planning a destination wedding and pretty stressed about picking my vendors while in a different state. When I found Danielle, I knew I hit gold! She was timely, responsive, and had the best personality to totally keep me calm. She worked with me constantly to ensure she knew exactly what my vision was for both my bridal portraits and wedding pictures. She was a dream to work with and never once did I worry if she was on top of things. On the day of my wedding, we had some issues with other vendors, but seeing Danielle there totally put my mind at ease because I knew the photography would be handled seamlessly! We got our digital prints within a month after our wedding and my husband, family, and I loved every single one! It just proved that Danielle was worth every penny and was by far our favorite vendor of the whole experience (which is saying a lot because Telluride has some terrific people working in the wedding industry). If you have the chance to have Danielle as your photographer, take it!

  We met Danielle as a wedding photographer, but through the process she became our dear friend. She is a true artist, a poet writing in digital and film. She was the epitome of expertise on our wedding day not simply from her style but her wonderful demeanor and ability to switch with ease from director to a supportive friend. We were blown away by her ability to direct our family as if she were one of them, as well as the love she gave to capturing each moment. She cared for us like we were family, effortlessly paying attention to every last detail. We were honored to have her present at our wedding and she brought beauty to our day that we could not have imagined.   We could not have picked a more perfect photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding! Danielle is so easy to work with as she catered to our every need. She was very professional while at the same time being fun and relaxed, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. While her formal portraits are just as beautiful, I think what really makes Danielle unique is her ability to capture people candidly in their unabashed emotion. She truly encapsulated the energy of our day!
  
  Danielle is warm and puts you at ease but she is also extremely detail oriented and organized. She was prompt to respond to any questions we had and always followed through with exactly what she said she was going to do. She also got our wedding gallery back to us in under a month! From our very first meeting, Danielle impressed us with her professionalism, high quality work, and her ability in capturing textures, small details, and candid moments that share the story of an event perfectly. Beyond her incredible technical ability as a photographer, Danielle is such a warm and friendly person and puts you at ease during sessions, which was incredibly helpful for us!   When I reached out to Danielle to inquire about wedding photography, I was thrilled that she contacted me by calling me directly after work one night. We chatted about wedding ideas, what my husband and I were looking for, and just in general got to know each other. It was like chatting with an old friend, and I immediately knew that she would be perfect to document our day. She worked with us through the entire planning process, even walking the venue with us months before the wedding so she could get a feel for the space we'd be in. I could go on and on about Danielle - she has the perfect combination of friendliness and professionalism...communicating with her via phone and email was so easy and she was always quick to respond...something that is so appreciated by couples who have so much going on before a wedding! Neither my husband nor myself feel especially comfortable in front of a camera, and Danielle was a dream to work with. She was very patient, laid back, and never "forced" photos. She just hung out with us and let the moments unfold naturally, it couldn't have been more perfect. I was so thrilled by how authentic and stunning our wedding photos turned out...they were absolutely us, and Danielle had captured the most important parts of our day flawlessly. Family formals can be a daunting task at a wedding, but Danielle made it an absolute breeze. My family was so impressed by how quickly and efficiently she rounded everyone up to get the shots of all our loved ones. She has an amazing eye for details and moments - I knew she would catch all the special moments and all I had to do was sit back and soak it all in. We loved that she shot in film and digitally, and are having one heck of a time narrowing down our favorites...we love them all! I would recommend Danielle in a heartbeat, and look forward to having her document more life events down the road :).

In the madness of our wedding day, having Danielle around to navigate my husbands enormous family and making sure she got all the photos we wanted was so reassuring.   When we knew we were going to have an intimate backyard ceremony I wanted have memories that fully captured our day, even down to the smallest of details. I knew then without a doubt that if I could get Defiorephotography to shoot my wedding then I would have exactly what I had in my mind's eye (I even considered moving our wedding date just to have Danielle!). I cannot speak highly enough of her work. Her intuitive ability to take in the emotion and feel of your day will take your breath away. If I had it to do all over again I would choose her a thousand times over... She is an artist, a doer, a listener, a genius; full of creativity and insight and we were so lucky to have had her there to document our day more beautiful ways than we could have imagined!

I knew then without a doubt that if I could get Defiorephotography to shoot my wedding then I would have exactly what I had in my mind's eye (I even considered moving our wedding date just to have Danielle!). I cannot speak highly enough of her work. Her intuitive ability to take in the emotion and feel of your day will take your breath away. If I had it to do all over again I would choose her a thousand times over... She is an artist, a doer, a listener, a genius; full of creativity and insight and we were so lucky to have had her there to document our day more beautiful ways than we could have imagined!

  I can't speak enough praises for Danielle and her work. For me, the personality of the photographer was very important. I wanted someone that I was very comfortable with since we would be spending a lot of time together on our big day. Danielle is such a sweetheart! She put me totally at ease and wasn't overly aggressive in trying to get the perfect shot, but still was able to capture our day perfectly. All of my family and friends have been extremely impressed with the photos that she took.

  I had the privilege of working with Danielle for our destination wedding in October in Napa. I had spent weeks online looking at different photographers in the Napa area. Most photographers in the area were out of our budget. I was connected to Danielle because of the work she has done in the Napa/Sonoma area. I reviewed her website and fell in love. Since I live in Chicago and Danielle lives in Colorado the majority of the time we spent together was chatting on the phone and going back and forth on email. Danielle and I immediately connected and I felt as if I were chatting with an old friend. She made me feel very comfortable and truly enjoyed listening about our wedding plans. In advance of the wedding, I filled out an extensive document about what I was looking for in terms of photographs. The document listed combinations I had not event thought of! It was a relief that there was someone else coordinating that aspect of our wedding!
  
  We met Danielle a few days before the wedding. We spent an hour chatting about the wedding and reviewed everything we wanted to capture. She was as friendly in person as she had been over the phone. The day of the wedding, Danielle and her assistant were amazing!!! She was able to organize family photos very efficiently! At the reception, they were able to get around to all of our guests. We were thrilled with how profession and well-organized Danielle and her assistant were the day of the wedding. It rained on and off that day and the most beautiful photos were captured.
  
  We parted ways and a few short weeks later, we received a sample of the photos. They were drop dead gorgeous. I was blown away with the way she was able to capture our day! We received all the photos a few weeks later. Every single detail that I wanted captured was there from my dress to the table décor and of course friends and family. I would recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a friendly and extremely professional photographer.

Our wedding day was FREEZING COLD and the pictures still came out wonderful - she was such a trooper! Danielle also was very helpful when connecting with other local vendors - I got my hair dresser, make up artist and florist from her recommendations - all of which I loved! My husband and I love DeFiore Art and consider Danielle a friend (and her lovely husband). I highly recommend her to document any special event - she will be our go to photographer from here on out.

  Danielle is fantastic! We knew from the moment we met with her in a downtown coffee shop that she'd be the best photographer for our wedding. Not only is she incredibly friendly (we discussed, among other things, issues of farming and food for about 2 hours), but she takes her work very seriously and is passionate about it. During our wedding she was well-prepared, flexible and understanding, even when my crazy-stress-bride self came out and we had to deal with an unforeseen rain delay. To top it off, our photos came out beautifully! What more could you ask for?
