Bad communication
Very bad at communication. I messaged and called her the day before, to see if we were still on and she ignored me. I even messaged her on her IG. I still didn't get no clarification that the photo shoot was still on. Me and my family still got ready not knowing if she was going to be there. Communication is very big and this is something she is not very good at. When I called again at my appointment time, she answered but she kept talking over me and laughing at the situation.
Very unprofessional. If she would've responded to me when I had messaged her with a simple "yes" or something, things would've gone differently. When she was talking over me, she kept saying that she was "busy". A person can't be that busy. Especially if a client is messaging you. She didn't ignore me when we set up to book and took my deposit though.. Worst experience I ever had with a photographer. Thanks Danielle.Danielle Rae Photography's reply:
I apologize that you felt this way. All our initial communication was through my personal Facebook always in a 1-4 day response time, and we confirmed your Maternity Session 2 days prior (Friday) to your session date (Sunday) via text with no changes made to your appointment and ending with seeing you the day of at the agreed upon location. When you tried to reach me later on it was via text and a format that we didn’t normally communicate through (IG which dreadfully went to spam since it was the 1st message ever between us). Unfortunately you had messaged me when I was in an all day wedding which I was being professional to my client and giving them my full attention and limit distractions. Weddings take my full focus and usually am very tired at the end of the day so I apologize if I didn’t respond in a timely matter. My typical respond time between all forms of communication is 1-4 days depending on workload with multiple messages to sort through between texts/FB/IG/Email/and here. Sadly with the wedding the day before, a private baptism the day of your session and other sessions prior to yours and after it did leave very little opportunity to respond. I take pride in my work and I hope you have better experiences with future photographers. -
