I was nervous going in because im uncomfortable in front of the camera and my man is a model,she was so sweet and gave us direction the entire time and made me feel so comfortable. We had so much fun shooting with Dani When we got our photos back i was blown away, absolutely stunning work! i cannot wait to work with her again. My man has worked with so many photographers, and she has been by far the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Dani is the best
Oh my goodness. Hiring Dani was hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding. From the very first time we met, I knew she was not only a talented photographer, but also a fantastic person to be around—which is so important for a big moment like your wedding.
You spend a lot of time with your photographer, and Dani is the exact person you want by your side. She’s so organized and has years of experience with day-of photo timelines (which was SO helpful for me).The photos came out STUNNING and I know I’ll be looking at them forever. Danirae spent the entire day with us for a long traditional ceremony, combined with photos in the park and the reception dinner. My husband and I had over 270 guests, and she took beautiful pictures. My husband and I will highly recommend her. She is very laid back, and we love her personality and direction with each and every photo. -

We hired Danirae for our upcoming wedding. We have had to postpone and she has been so accommodating and helpful during the process! Before quarantine we were able to do our engagement photo session with her, and it was one of the best experiences for my fiance and I who can be awkward in front of a camera. We absolutely love our photos and could not have asked for a better photographer to be a part of our upcoming day. Highly recommend choosing her to be part of yours! -

Hire Danirae if you want the wedding photos of your dreams
Hiring Danirae was the best decision I made for my wedding. I live in DC and my husband lives in Milwaukee, so all of our contact with Danirae before our wedding was electronic. She answered a lot of my questions over email and she always responded promptly. When I was almost ready to hire her, we hopped on a phone call and I knew she was the right photographer for me. She was super friendly and flexible right from the start (I had a few minor modifications to the contract and she had no problems with them). I'm South Asian and there is one photography company that seems to photograph EVERY wedding in my community in Southern California, but when I had reached out to them they were 1) very slow to respond, 2) not friendly, and 3) super expensive. Danirae was the opposite, so I went with her instead.
On the day of our wedding, we had a wardrobe malfunction and we ended up starting our pre-wedding shoots ("the romantics") later than we thought. When I called Danirae to let her know, she didn't mind; in fact, she was already scoping out the park where we had decided to shoot. Before our wedding, I had sent Danirae an email describing all of the shots I wanted (South Asian brides have some specific and different bridal/bride+groom shots). She remembered each of my requests and made sure to capture them all. She also had her own great poses and was very patient with my husband and I when we did terribly at the twirl shot. Our culture is much more conservative/reserved, but we felt completely comfortable with Danirae who didn't try to make us do poses we were not comfortable with.
At our actual wedding, Danirae was great. She was incredibly patient even when some of my guests asked her to take photos on their camera (definitely not her job; I was embarrassed!). She got so many beautiful traditional shots of me with my family and friends and me as I said goodbye to my family and left with my husband at the end.
And, finally, her photos were absolutely stunning! Every single person I have shown them to has commented on how beautiful the photos are and how much my husband and I look like Bollywood starts (haha)!
To sum: You should definitely hire Danirae. She is incredibly kind, flexible, hardworking, and will take the wedding photos of your dreams. I 100% recommend her. -

Wedding Photography
So happy we went with Danirae Dunn for our wedding! We are from Minnesota and were in need of a photographer for our small, intimate wedding in California this past October. I had a list of photos that I wanted to make sure were captured and she was able to do that plus much more. She is very personably and makes you feel extremely comfortable right from the start. I highly recommend! Thanks again for doing such a wonderful job! -

Best photographer Ever
Danirae is amazing!! We are so grateful to have had her capture our engagement, wedding, and a boudoir shoot. She makes you feel so incredibly comfortable while shooting. Every single album we get back, we love every shot. She has such a sweet soul but can also handle any task we’ve thrown her way. My husband and his groomsmen had tons of energy and she was able to direct everything like a pro and capture our wedding perfectly. We could never thank her enough! -

Danirae is truly a gift of a photographer to work with. She emanated so much warmth and enthusiasm in all of our interactions that I could feel her joy and genuine passion for her craft. Dani remained wholeheartedly devoted to ensuring that she captured the beauty of our vision for our wedding. She met with me in person one month prior to our wedding day to discuss the details of our must-have shot list, our overall vision for our wedding, and any specific aspects of our wedding that we wanted her to focus on that day.
On the day of our wedding, Danirae's workflow was the perfect balance of diligently striving to capture all of the photos we had requested while still gifting us with the time to breathe in and enjoy every moment of our perfect day. I knew it would be a daunting task to request a shot with each of our huge extended families, but Dani could see how deeply important our families are to us and made a point to photograph these invaluable images during golden hour.
We just received that highly anticipated email that our photos were available, and we are overjoyed with the stunning collection of photographs that Danirae and her assistant, Katie, had captured throughout our entire wedding day. The lighting and composition of their photographs made some images especially enchanting, but I'm particularly enthralled by the countless photos through which I feel the depth of our love and absolute bliss all over again. From the intimate moments of our ceremony to the bustling excitement of our dance floor, every moment that we cherish from our wedding will be held in permanence through our precious photographs by Danirae.

Having Danirae as our photographer was absolutely awesome. I first contacted Dani in January and she was very prompt in responding- she was able to send me examples of her work, make recommendations about ceremony start time to capture that perfect lighting, make recommendations for engagement shoot locations and we set up a date for engagement photos. We experienced some rainy weather this year and Dani was amazing with working with our overfilled schedules to reschedule us.. engagement photos were delivered promptly and we were in love. Dani was awesome at keeping in contact with me the 7 months between our engagement photos and wedding.. we met up about a month before the wedding to go over all the details and what the day of would look like- Dani was super professional, fun and offered great advice for any question marks I had! Day of, Dani and second shooter, Katie, showed up prior to start time to make sure everything was going great and promptly started working. Day of was great- Dani and Katie captured all the pictures we had discussed during our meeting and far surpassed my expectations! Dani was a hit with all of my vendors due to her great personality, teamwork, professionalism and time management. Best of all, Dani was super prompt in delivering beautiful wedding photos! I would highly recommend Danirae if you are looking for a talented, sweet, communicative, down to earth, artistic, professional photographer!!! -

Danirae’s pictures were everything we could have asked for our wedding day. She communicates so well before and during the wedding. She made the effort to get to know us as a couple and even made sure to arrive at the venue well before our scheduled time. She made sure to scope out the best spots at the venue to make sure we had the perfect backdrop. Danirae was the perfect blend of friendly and professional, she accepted all our suggestions and made some of her own for poses, lighting, and locations. There were so many small things that were so meaningful to us like my bouquet which had a picture of my late grandmother and she knew without me even asking to take a picture of it. We were blown away by her attention to detail. We loved waking up to a message from Danirae the following morning; she had taken the time after the wedding to work on one of our pictures and send it to us. -

Such an amazing experience!
Dani is such an amazing photographer! She was on time to my wedding and made me and my husband feel very comfortable during our shoot. She is very caring, completely professional, and sent our pictures at the appropriate time frame that she promised. Because of all her great qualities, two of my friends booked her for their weddings and I am always booking her for all my family photo shoots in the future. 😄 -
