  Great experience.

  Daria made the photography part of our wedding go very easy. She made sure all the shots that we needed were captured. She made sure all our questions and concerns were answered promptly. Daria is a very pleasant person to talk to and to work with.

  What an experience!

  We were having just a civil wedding done …. Something quick, simple and with the work and photos Daria was able to capture she made it look fairytale like. She capture the purity of our love for each other and that’s not something you can always find in a photographer, especially since my husband dislikes photos greatly! So thank you thank you thank you for giving us the best memories for a lifetime of love!

  Love at first sight

  My fiance and I recently worked with Daria on our engagement photos and we couldn't have had a better experience, from start to finish! She captured our love, personalities, and emotions in all of the photos.
  Engagement photos can be awkward and playful, and she was the best guide for the project! She made us both feel super comfortable and we had a great time doing it.

  Wonderful professional photographer.

  Daria is one of the best photographers around! I had her do my engagement and elopement photos. I trust her completely! She is very fun and her adventurous personally is what makes the photo shoots easy to Do! I wouldn't want anyone else to take photos for me! She is my photographer for life.

  Amazing Understanding person.

  Daria was incredible at making our day. I loved her outstanding way of helping me like she was one of my bridesmaid. And her amazing way of creating each moment and posing us the perfect angle. So happy with everything.

  Daria was amazing. So professional and flexible. She noticed everything and fixed it before it showed up in the pictures. Amazing pictures we will cherish forever.

  Disappointment. Daria is a retoucher, and not a photographer.

  I am an established photographer in Los Angeles that has shot for various fashion publications. However, I want to enjoy my sister's wedding and not working. My sister hired Daria as her wedding photographer. Naturally, as a photographer myself, I immediately asked Daria for the original RAW file. In fact, I preferred the original RAW file instead of the edited version, because I want to retouch it myself. Daria agreed.
  
  After the wedding, Daria sent out the edited versions that are over and underexposed. When we asked for the original file, she was reluctant and tried to back out from the agreement. She finally agreed to release the original file for an additional cost (which was unacceptable since we had an agreement at the beginning). However, we had no choice. After we paid, a week later the flash drive arrived. However, the files were corrupted and could not be open. Daria asked for more money to re-send another flash drive even though this was her mistake.
  
  We did not want the same issues again, so we asked her to use a dropbox instead. But she kept refusing because she said it will take forever to upload. When she finally agreed, we did not get the photos uploaded until 1 month later.
  
  When we finally received the original files, as a photographer, I can now clearly see the problems on my sister's photos and why Daria was reluctant to share the original files.
  
  First, she shot JPEG. Any professional photographer would at least shoot RAW because it stores much more information for retouching.
  
  Second, the images we received have low resolutions. So for us to wait one month for her to upload the photos are very disappointing. This is just pure laziness. She could have easily uploaded it overnight, and be done with it. But we had to beg for a month to finally receive it.
  
  Thrid, many of the receptions images are terrible due to poor lighting. She only has one flash connected to her camera.
  
  To her credit, Daria did shot a lot of images. She was enthusiastic and stayed until the end of the event. But in my professional opinion, she is not a true photographer. She needs to really learn the basic functions of her camera, and learn how to synch her flash to her camera. She also should invest on better equipment and portable lighting if she wants to do this for a living. Retouching an image can only get you so far if the original file is bad. For all these reasons, I do not recommend her.
