  Fun, talented, caring, versatile!

  Liz is phenomenal! I’m not a girlie girl so she gave me plenty of skin care tips during our bridal trial. I had one small request after the trial on something I wanted changed and she remembered to do that for the wedding. I looked like an absolute PRINCESS day of! And she slayed all my bridesmaids that hired her (plus squeezed in an extra who hadn’t originally requested her services!). And did I mention her pricing was great in comparison to everything else I saw? And as a black woman, I love her focus on being able to work with diverse clientele. I could go on and on but point is, hire her!

  Perfect Choice!

  I cannot recommend Liz strongly enough! From my trial run with her a few months prior to my wedding to the day-of makeup, she was absolutely flawless! I loved how even with my pops of red and bright pink lipstick to match my colorful Indian wedding attire, she was able to make my make-up look natural, and made me still feel like myself on my wedding day- which I think is difficult to do sometimes with wedding makeup! I have bridesmaids from a lot of different cultural backgrounds, and she was able to do stunning make-up for each and every one of them. She is very responsive with her busy schedule. I really appreciate that she took the time to think of me and send me lipstick colors that she thought I would like prior to my wedding day to mull over. I slacked on finding a hair stylist, and she very quickly put me in contact with many of her friends who are hair stylists. Because of her, I had my dream make-up and hair for my wedding day! She made getting ready such a fun atmosphere even though it was VERY early in the morning. And we had a blast again for my reception makeup! You're the best, Liz ❤

  Liz is amazing

  I could talk for like 3 days about how wonderful Liz is. She is not only a ridiculously talented make up artist she's just a kind and wonderful person. She saved the day when my first wedding mua bailed and I'm actually glad they did because Liz was a total dream! All my bridesmaids and my Mom have raved about her since my wedding in October. She can listen to you vaguely describe what you want and BOOM she's captured what you were attempting to describe but even better than you pictured. She is so friendly and really puts you at ease on a pretty stressful day. I wish I had an excuse to have her do my make up again! Thanks for making my glam elf look happen Liz you rule!

  Liz is the Best!

  I cannot say enough great things about working with Liz! I had an unfortunate situation happen where my original plan for makeup fell through last minute, Liz SAVED THE DAY by offering to work me into her schedule so that I didn’t have to do my own makeup for my wedding (which would have been a disaster lol!). She was also able to schedule me for a last minute practice session a few days before. I was beyond relieved and so appreciative of her accommodating me!
  
  She did an AMAZING job, my makeup was very natural and gave me a beautiful glow. I was impressed by Liz’s efficiency the morning of and that my makeup truly lasted all day!
  
  Liz is not only talented but also a very nice person to work with. If I could do it again, I would have booked with her from the beginning for my whole bridal party. I cannot recommend Dark Hearts Artistry enough!!

  She is a magician!!

  Liz is absolutely amazing! You cannot go wrong hiring this goddess to give your your dream look! I would use her for any type of professional make up needs! She is a perfectionist and will work and rework your look until you are ready to cry because you didnt know you could look that incredible! She did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids and my mom and we all looked stunning! She came so prepared to handle multiple different skin textures, ages, and color palates that we all just had to sit there and dance along to the music as she gave us a serious glow up! I cannot recommend her enough and I cannot stress enough how amazing she is! I went out and about after my trial run and ran into another bride to be at a store who literally stopped me demanding to know who had done my makeup because she had been to three artists and had never seen makeup done as well as what Liz had done for me!

  Liz is amazing!!

  Best Makeup Experience

  Liz did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding in Chapel Hill. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did it better than I expected. On top of that she is super fun to talk to. I’m so happy with my experience with her and wished she lived closer to me!

  Wonderful Experience!

  I got married last year and had my makeup done by Liz and my experience was absolutely perfect. It was everything I thought it would be & more! Liz was so personable and made the experience fun and full of laughs! I have never had my makeup professionally done prior to my wedding day and I was stunned by how beautiful I looked. Liz took pride in her work and took her time to make me look exactly how I described. Liz even stopped by our beach rental to do touch ups before I said I do . If you need your makeup done, I highly recommend Liz!

  Bridal Makeup

  Liz is absolutely amazing! I never wear makeup and she made me feel so comfortable in it, lashes and all! My mom and I have both used Liz for both of our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome!! Will definitely use in the future!

  I cannot ever put into words how beautiful Liz made me feel on my wedding day! I had originally gotten another makeup artist from the start and 3 weeks before my event contacted Liz because I wasn’t happy about my first trial! She was quick to respond and get me in for a trial and a massage the week before! Her personality, her talent, her professionalism, her work ethic, I could go on and on she went above and beyond and I cannot rave about her or thank her enough! My bridesmaids and I loved her so so much and I will be sure to recommend her to anyone and everyone who needs makeup for any event!

  I hired Liz to do my makeup for my professional photos that I was having taken for my new business cards and couldn't have been happier. I am very particular about my makeup and every person I've ever hired to do my makeup I have ended up so disappointed but Liz was unbelievable. She did an amazing job and made me feel so good about myself. I like how I do my own makeup but she really gave me the extra definition and details that made my photoshoot perfect. I had her do natural makeup look but it was perfect. I will hire her anytime I need professional photos or have an important engagement that requires that her special touch! She's an artist and does beautiful work!

  First of all- I LOVE this woman! I have had the pleasuring of Liz doing my makeup not only my wedding (aka most important day of my life) but multiple occasions where I felt I needed to look like my ultimate FABULOUS self! Liz worked with me every step of the way, from getting me out of my comfort zone of "naturally only" to making me feel like a DIVA in my own skin. I cannot brag on her enough! She has an upbeat, fun, contagious personality that will light up any room she is working in. She will make you feel beautiful in every sense of the word. THANK YOU Liz for always going above and beyond any expectations I have ever had. If I could I'd give her 10 stars out of 5 ❤️❤️

  Beautiful make up by a beautiful woman

  I love how Liz did my make up for my wedding! I don’t wear make up regularly and worried it wouldn’t look natural on me, but I was so happy with the result - still me, just extra.
