  Absolutely gorgeous arrangements and lovely people to work with!

  Maria and Whitney were fabulous to work with and couldn't be sweeter! From our first conversation, I could sense their passion and immediately felt confident that I could trust them to bring my vision to life. The thoughtful touches they recommended truly elevated my venue and the flowers could not have been more stunning! Even with just the classic white and green as my colors, they were able to design bouquets, ground arrangements and other large installments that had so much variety and visual interest.
  
  My ceremony was outdoors and I was anxious about my rain plan but they went above and beyond to ease any worries for how they would rearrange designs to still make it look beautiful indoors and even offered to bring a pergola free of charge as a backup in case of bad weather. The weather was perfect, but it was nice to know they could be so flexible!
  
  If you want to make a statement at your next event with spectacular florals and want to work with the kindest vendors, I highly recommend Darling & Daughters!

  Beautiful Florals, Perfect Arrangement

  We chose Darling & Daughters because of their excellent customer service. Even though we were a small wedding, they helped with setup and really worked with us to define our vision. They also did not try to oversell anything beyond our budget. Their designs were gorgeous and really set the stage for a perfect day!

  Best Decision I Made

  It is simply impossible to put into words how amazing Whitney and Maria are. They are indescribable. They are talented, kind, funny, patient, understanding, and just an overall joy to be around. I am so, so, so, so, so thankful we were able to have their beautiful florals at our wedding. Their work is simply breathtaking. When I saw my bouquet the morning of my wedding, I actually cried real tears about how beautiful it was. Our guests also cannot stop talking about how beautiful the florals were at the wedding. Everything was done so meticulously and perfectly -- from sourcing local flowers to finding me silk bougainvillea because having a bougainvillea bouquet was my dream. Maria and Whitney truly went above and beyond and I endorse and recommend them with my whole heart. You will not regret allowing them to use their talents for your wedding or whatever your needs may be. THANK YOU, DARLING & DAUGHTERS!!!!

  Most Beautiful Flowers Ever!

  Darling & Daughters came as a recommendation from our wedding planner, and we couldn't have asked for a more amazing vendor. From our first meeting with Maria, we knew she was someone who was incredibly passionate about her work and loved to share that passion. Maria knew exactly what we wanted and made great suggestions on different colors/flowers to add to really bring everything together for our special day. Maria was so easy to work with, and was extremely accommodating with changes we were making up to the last couple of weeks. And let's just say her team went above and beyond the day of the wedding by literally fighting through traffic and police barricades to get to the wedding venue on time! We could not have picked a better vendor for florals, and are in such awe every time we look at our wedding pictures because of how beautiful the flowers were. Thank you so much, Darling & Daughters, for being so amazing to work with!

  Absolutely Perfect Wedding Florals!

  I’m so thrilled that we hired Darling & Daughters for our wedding florist. Maria and Whitney were amazing to work with. They were so excited about my ~vision~ for the wedding and really brought it to life in spectacular fashion. All of the arrangements were absolutely stunning (particularly my gorgeous bouquet).
  
  For our ceremony, they thoughtfully designed a beautiful asymmetric visual, and we were able to repurpose the individual components for the ballroom. For the table arrangements, my parents had very strong opinions about tall floral arrangements, so they designed two beautiful and lush sets of low arrangements which were absolutely stunning, as well as some hanging greenery.
  
  The bouquets were a particular highlight. My bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses, and the bridesmaid bouquets were absolutely perfect for tying the overall dress aesthetic together. My bridal bouquet was a total showstopper. Everyone’s jaws dropped when they brought it into the bridal suite.
  
  Finally, Maria and Whitney were just lovely to work with. I kept coming back with more thoughts and ideas and they were happy to incorporate additional elements into their design. They were very collaborative, eager to make their gorgeous seasonal flowers fit seamlessly with our other decor choices. The whole process of working with them was seamless!

  Darling & Daughters is THE BEST decision you'll make planning your wedding!

  Darling & Daughters exceeded all of my expectations and then some. I may be biased, but I do think our florals were the prettiest I've ever seen at a wedding. Not only did Maria and her team curate the most fabulous (locally sourced) wedding florals anyone could ever dream of, Maria also became a counselor of sorts to me as we planned and re-planned our wedding due to COVID. Maria went above and beyond in every sense possible and was present every step of the way- providing expertise and advice throughout the whole process. CANNOT RECOMMEND DARLING & DAUGHTERS ENOUGH!!! Choosing Darling & Daughters was easily the smartest decision we made while wedding planning. Looking forward to working with them for every single event we do in the future..

  The MOST beautiful flowers!!

  Darling & Daughters has the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets I've ever seen. I first saw their arrangements in my favorite DC bakery, Buttercream Bakeshop, and knew that was the florist I wanted for our wedding. Maria is so easy and fun to talk to - she turned my very rough vision into everything I could have imagined. The arrangements and flower choices she chooses are so unique and dainty. They are perfection. I loved working with Maria and her team and highly recommend them!!

  Lush Florals and an owner you'll want to make your best friend

  Darling and Daughters knocked it beyond out of the park for our intimate 30-person September wedding. Maria was nothing but a goddess who provided stunning, lush arrangements replete with blooms that impressed all who saw them for our 1) wedding shower 2) to mark our original wedding date and 3) for our actual wedding, all while being respectful of our budget. Maria was with me through venue changes and extensive back and forth -- I had a lot of opinions and vision! She went above and beyond to be flexible with design elements for us. I cannot sing her praises enough. I spent a lot of time viewing floral portfolios and Maria's sings both in-person and in photos. We will definitely be repeat customers.

  If you want to gasp and say WOW this is your vendor

  After a chat with Maria, she totally understood what I dreamed of for my daughter. The chuppah was beyond WOW..The Brides bouquet was one of dreams. The flowers were so unusual and took your breath away. If you want ordinary, this is not your vendor. If you want people to buzz about how amazing the flowers are, call this duo. We can't say thank you enough for the funky, fun, colorful and just perfection they gave us.

  Breathtaking Floral Arrangements!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and her team. They created the most breathtaking, beautiful, vibrant, romantic floral arrangements for my spring wedding. I knew from the start that I wanted my flowers to be different, I wasn't really a fan of the "tight" and "manicured" looks of flowers I had seen and experienced in dozens of other weddings. DarlingDaughters fit exactly what I was looking for (if you have time check out their instagram because I because I was AMAZED!)-Maria and her team worked very closely and personally with my family to create the vision we had in mind and I can only say that on my wedding day I was brought to tears by their creations. Luckily, my photographer was able to capture their beauty because I will literally be dreaming about these flowers for years to come.

  Beautiful flowers!

  Maria is so sweet and did such a wonderful job with the bouquets for our wedding. I know next to nothing about flowers and basically just told her my wedding colors at our first meeting. She took that little tidbit and ran with it! The bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were all gorgeous, and our flower girl looked like a princess with her flower crown. I was in love with our wedding flowers and cannot thank or recommend Maria and Darling & Daughters enough!

  Maria did a fabulous job with our wedding in May of 2018! I was breath-taken when I saw the arrangements arrive at the wedding venue - everything was beautiful and went to plan. Maria is super talented and a joy to work with. We'd recommend her to anyone getting married looking for a terrific florist!

  From our very first conversation, I knew Maria was going to be a fantastic person to work with who we could trust completely. She had great suggestions throughout the wedding planning process as we developed our vision for our wedding flowers, including ideas of how to maximize the impact of our flowers on our budget. On the day of the wedding, we were absolutely in awe of Maria's creations (as were our guests!!). Our bouquets, wedding arch flowers, and reception floral pieces were heavenly-- just impeccably designed and crafted. They set the mood and feel for our ceremony and reception in such a beautiful way. On top of being a very talented florist and designer, Maria is very responsive, professional, and a skilled communicator (not to mention warm, thoughtful, and fun!). Darling & Daughters has my highest recommendation.

  Maria from Darling & Daughter's did an incredable job with the flowers for my wedding. The table arrangements, boutonnière, flowers for the cake, bridesmaids bouquet were fantastic and my bouquet, simply stunning!!! I was very, very happy with all she did. She has a kind, calm and warm personality. She is a true artist and you can see that she really puts her heart into what she does. It was an absolute pleasure meeting her and working with her. I would highly recommend Darling & Daughtet's for anyone who wants to have any beautiful flower arrangements made with care.

  Not only is Maria a supremely talented florist, but she possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers! From our first phone call, I knew I would love working with her. Not only is she incredibly kind, but she was able to take my ideas and make them a reality. In addition to centerpieces, bud vases and other wedding arrangements, I asked her to make me a floral headpiece (think Frida Kahlo). I sent her a few pictures and left the rest to her. When my wedding day came around and I opened the box, I literally gasped! I told myself I was only going to try it on since I still had about an hour before showtime. I never took it off again for over 12 hours! She made a beautiful crown that not only fit in perfectly with my dress and accessories, but fit the overall theme of my wedding. The icing on the cake is that I wanted to donate my flowers to hospice at the end of the night and Maria happily accommodated my request. She arranged for us to have buckets and extra assistance at the end of the night to gather up the flowers for drop off the next day. Maria balances a thriving business and being a loving mom, always making time to answer emails and calls. The love and dedication she puts into her work shines so brightly, and it's contagious. She even got my husband excited about the flowers!

I am not a visual person so I largely deferred to Maria to create a bouquet that would work with my dress color, the groom’s tie, and my venue. Her flowers were stunning, and working with her was a true pleasure.

  Maria made our day perfect. I we had a last minute wedding, and when she delivered our flowers, I cried when I saw my bouquet. It was exactly what I described via phone consult, and then some. We had a small wedding, and she was so accommodating with last minute notice and details. I'd highly recommend her and her sister for any floral needs. Her attention to detail and capturing the essence of the couple, the venue, and desires is immaculate and flawless.

From start to finish, Maria exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure that my bouquet and other pieces were absolutely perfect. After a few months of emailing back and forth, Maria and I met the week of the wedding to finalize blooms and touch base and she is one of the warmest, most infectious and kind people I've ever met. Even though I had never met her before, she felt like an old friend and put me so at ease. She made me and my mom feel so special and I feel so lucky to have had her do our flowers- so many people told it was the most beautiful bouquet they'd ever seen!
