Phenomenal
My fiancé and I had a vision for our engagement pictures, and David absolutely gave us exactly what we were imagining. I highly recommend David for all of your picture needs. He was not only amazing at capturing our engagement pictures, but also included our son and entertaining him with his soccer ball. We were amazed by his communication skills and it made it not socially awkward. -

David is a PHENOMENAL photographer. He is personable, considerate, and genuine in his interactions with his couples and gives 110% to his craft. Wedding photography is no easy task (high stress, high stakes, timeliness is everything) but David handles it like a pro.
My (new!) husband and I were blown away by his professionalism but also ability to adapt to feedback and unforeseen situations…the resulting pictures we got back were the dreamiest, fairytale pictures we could have imagined.
Brides, I would highly recommend reaching out to David for your wedding! -

My Photos Looked Like They Belong on the Cover of a Vogue Magazine!
We hired David because of his attention to detail, his passion for photography, his beautiful portfolio, and for his fun nature!! I was a very type-A bride and had concerns about looking sweaty in my photos (I got married in July and in Georgia) and my bridal party and I getting heat-exhausted before the big day. David had answers to all of my questions and patiently explained his plan for the whole day, including plans to keep us cool, how the timeline would be structured to allow time for people to cool off, and his ability to edit away any harsh lighting or sweat. I felt really confident having David as our photographer! Day of the wedding, David was high-energy and immediately got to work! Him and his wife were amazing at focusing the energy of my bridal party and capturing the most beautiful moments ALL day. When I got the photos back from David, they literally took my breath away. He captured the most stunning photos of me in my veil, beautiful photos of my husband and I in the vineyard as the sun was going down, and so many more. David exceeded our expectations and I cannot thank him enough for so beautifully capturing our day! If you're looking for a fun photographer who has timeless taste, David is your man. -

Great photo and video package!
David was great to work with! Our photos and video turned out amazing! I wish I had a chance to come up with some more unique poses/shots for our portrait photos, but that’s really on me for not knowing what we wanted. The video captured the whole day super well and we will watch it over and over again! David included an engagement shoot in the package and it was a good chance to get some practice in front of the camera and made the wedding day more comfortable. I would highly recommend booking David for your special day! -

David was perfect!! Working with him and his wife (they are a perfect duo) was so incredibly fun and easy! I’m not great at pictures but he made it so comfortable and made it easy to laugh! Engagement Photos
David took our engagement photos this December, and we LOVE them. We were really nervous, as we tend to be camera shy, but David brought such a wonderful energy to the shoot and we were instantly comfortable. We got the photos back quickly, and there were a ton of them! We loved our experience and can’t wait for David to photograph our wedding. -

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, nothing but amazing!!
David and his then fiance were absolutely incredible during our wedding day! The ability to have a flex schedule as well as receive over 800 photos from our day already put him way above the rest, but of course he went above and beyond. From everything like shouting compliments at us while taking photos (which made us feel wonderful) to managing our large wedding party, David was able to capture ever single moment. The memories we made that night will last a lifetime and we are so thankful to have such wonderful images from the day due to David. -

The quality of photos delivered for our wedding did not look professional. It doesn't appear David put much effort into editing the photos, at least compared to other wedding photos I've seen. Almost every photo had either an orange unflattering tint or a grey/green tint that made us look washed out and/or had clutter/garbage in the background that could have been edited out. It is just jarring to see yourself and family with a different skin tone. I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but I recently shared the photos with a coworker who asked where the red hair in my family comes from, I had to tell her no one in the photo has red hair, the photographer did something to make their brown hair red. We asked if we could provide a list of photos we wanted because we both have divorced parents and David agreed and his fiance referenced how helpful the list was on the wedding day. However, they failed to capture a family photo for of my mother-in-law without my father-in-law, so unfortunately no wedding photo of everyone to have framed on the wall which is disappointing. David was roughly 45 minutes late to the engagement shoot, showing up after sunset so those photos are low quality looking, which is when we told him we didn't like the orange coloring of the photos and would not like it in our wedding photos. I think after 3 emails back and forth about the engagement photos, he apologized and discounted us for the shoot. I asked if we could have a phone call to get back on a positive note as this was stressing me out about my wedding day and he told me there was no need to talk because he was fine. He missed the contracted delivery deadline with no communication until I reached out for a status update.David Paul Brown's reply:
Hey Jill! Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry you feel the pictures I sent were not edited well. I remember editing very dark images, since you had planned the pictures to be taken after the sun had gone down, and trying my best to provide what I could. If you'd like me to try again and re-edit a select number of images than shoot me an email and we'll see what we can work out! I also apologize for missing that picture with your mother-in-law without the father-in-law. I tried my best to capture all the images on the list but did fail to capture that one. Lastly, I also apologize for missing the picture return window, as you remember I fell very ill with Covid and wasn't able to get out of bed during that Christmas week. I should've communicated and since then I've fixed my contracts and packages to allow for more space incase things go wrong. We're all learning as we go! If there's anything I can do to mend this just let me know and I'd be happy to work with you.
