As a plus size bride, size tends to be a sore subject. Wearing a street size 20, this puts you in 2-4 sizes up and can make you a little self conscious. Christina at David's Bridal was sweet and helpful. She listened, understood my concerns, and with that made wonderful suggestions. More importantly she knew how to handle my aunt and mother who were very opinionated/wanted me to try on things I didn't like.
Christina helped me appease my entourage and was able to help me narrow down to a wonderful dress that was half the price of what I was going to originally spend. She also brought out a seamstress from alterations to give me an idea if the changes I wanted could be made to the dress before I purchased.

I found my perfect wedding gown on my first appointment with Jaqueline - she showed me the gowns I had chosen & even helped me get out of my comfort zone, which led me to my gown. The alterations dept was a flawless experience, they accomplished all my requests! Upon picking up my dress, Britain suggested that we take a video of how to bustle my gown - priceless advice that came in so handy! All the staff were a pleasure to work with!

I was also able to find the bridesmaids' dresses as well as my mothers dress! He was so friendly and so helpful! If you're going to David's, go see Michael!

She is amazing and made me feel so beautiful and wonderful when I was trying on dresses. I found my dress my first visit, and I keep going back to purchase more items (only if Veronica is there). I will keep going back for future items, whether it be for my wedding, or someone else's :) -

I wouldn't have ever picked the dress I got, but it looks amazing and I feel so wonderful in it. My consultant picked a wide variety of dresses to try and I fell in love with this one. -

Sara Sent on 07/08/2013I heard so many negative comments about David's Bridal, but I still had to have my experience. I went to this location because they had the best reviews and I am so glad I did. The consultant I started out with, was alright. Unfortunately she didn't really want to listen to exactly what I was looking for, and opted for her style choices. Eventually my entourage and I went out in search of my dress. The store manager, Kathy, is a dream. She quickly helped me find my dream dress, veil, and what the bustle would look like.
She stayed with us, past our allotted appointment time and is still willing to hop on the phone with me whenever I have a question. My dress came in within a whopping 3 weeks! I was in shock!

My consultant was so friendly and took the time to listen to me and what I really wanted. She pulled a dress for me that I didn't think I would like and my mom and I ended up falling in love. Service has been great each time that I've been there. My dress couldn't have been more perfect and the prices are great. -
