Amazing Cake
David’s Custom cake was so accommodating and kind. I asked a million questions, and special add ons to the cake and they happily did them all. On top of that, the cake was well priced and most importantly absolutely delicious. Everyone raves about the cake! Thank you again! -

We held our wedding at Indian Trail Club who partners with David’s Cakes - and we’re so glad they do! We easily scheduled our tasting which was very basic itself. David’s Cakes offered a bunch of options, combinations, and recommendations without being overwhelming. They were responsive and patient via email. We had three different combinations for our cake and they were delicious! We’re so happy with how our cake came out! This, in combination with following them on social media and seeing their outstanding designs makes us want to have another event with a David’s cake ASAP! -

David Custom Cake was amazing. From the time we walked in from meet and great to the tasting we knew we were in good hands. Not only did we have 1 tasting but we had two because shop created a peanut butter filling that husband loved for the top layer of our wedding cake - our top layer is in freezer right now. David Custom Cake created a 4 layer cake for us with 4 different filling - dulce de leche, raspberry, strawberry, and peanut butter. Thanks! -

Luci Sent on 09/23/2018Megan was so wonderful and easy to work with! We did a tasting at their storefront location and they let us come in before they had opened back up to the public after a renovation. We had three different flavor combinations because we couldn’t decide on an absolute favorite. The cake came out beautifully and our wonderful florist did a great job incorporating live flowers on it. Sadly I did not get to try a piece at the wedding but I’m already counting down to our one-year anniversary so we can break out our top tier!

Jennifer Sent on 03/15/2017We were looking for a wedding cake that tasted delicious and didn't cost a fortune. Belmont's prices are hard to beat. We set up a tasting and were able to taste multiple combinations. All of them were delicious so it was hard to choose. We opted for a simple 3 tier buttercream cake. It was perfect. We got so many compliments on how delicious our wedding cake was (even from someone who is a tough wedding cake critic). -
User6454441 Sent on 04/21/2013Our cake came from the Belmont Bakery as they were affiliated with our reception hall Tides Estate. Our cake was beautiful. We first ordered a cake topper that was too big and we weren't sure if it would fit on our cake, and the cake designer was very patient with us asking us for measurements and weight of the topper and inviting us in so she could look at it. We never made it in for a tasting as our schedule was too hectic but she was willing to work around our schedule and show up on weekends if we needed. The cake was just so pretty and it tasted good too! We'll see how it tastes one year from now but glad the Tides had us use Belmont Bakery for our cake! -

Cari Sent on 10/12/2013Belmont Bakery is a diamond in the rough. I researched DOZENS of bakeries and was appalled at pricing and creativity. This small staple in North Haledon has some of the best pastries and treats I have ever tasted and at reasonable prices. We had a cake tasting and were blown away. I'm not a cake person and I thought the cake was delicious! We did other tastings at other bakeries as well and Belmont was the clear winner. We immediately booked them to make our three tiered fondant wedding cake. We actually upgraded because of their fair pricing and attention to detail. Working with Meagan was fantastic; she responded to every email and worked with us every step of the way, helping us custom design our cake. Be clear what you want and they will deliver. I don't know how there isn't a line out the door here but I would RUN to use Belmont. -

We didn't choose them because they came as part of the package we had, but we did meet with the bakery prior to our wedding and they were very accommodating. The actually cake on our wedding day tasted far better than the taster sample we tried at the meeting. They were willing to upgrade the cake because I initially wanted fondant, but the upcharge was too much for my budget so we just went with the buttercream. I'm so glad we did. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. We had plenty of cake for everyone plus the top tier for our anniversary (which we ate some of on our wedding night because it was so good and we didn't get enough at the reception!) We didn't get any decorations, so don't know how they are on those, but what we did get was beautiful.
