We are so glad to have found Dayve and his unique services! Not only is he an incredible musician, his “No DJ” option was exactly what we were looking for! Having spent a good deal of time cultivating our wedding dinner and dancing playlists, we wanted the option to use those while not breaking the bank on a DJ who may not have had the same genres of music in mind for our celebration. And Dayve’s accompaniment on guitar was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour - he seamlessly switched from one style of music to the other and plays beautifully. His music added an element of elegance that was just what we had hoped for and more!
Dayve was also really easy to work with and very responsive. We loved having a chance to run all of our song ideas by him in advance. We feel like we made a new friend by the end of it. We’ll be the lucky ones if so!! Thank you so very much, Dayve! -

We got married at the Mountain Top in September, and had met Dayve at our tasting back in early 2020 (we postponed our wedding due to COVID, and Dayve was so flexible through that process!). He was playing guitar during the tasting event, and we all loved his music – my dad and father-in-law especially. He was so friendly in person, and came so highly recommended by our planner, that it was an easy decision to hire him! Dayve and violinist Emily Sunderman played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They learned a few songs for the ceremony, and had a great mix of oldies on rotation during cocktails. Our guests loved them, and I thought it was nice to have a mix of songs throughout the day (since our band played more top 40)! Dayve was communicative and helpful during the planning process, and very easy to work with. He has also played at the Mountain Top so frequently that he's very familiar with the venue and staff, and knows exactly what to do and where to go. He and Emily are both so talented – I would definitely recommend hiring them for your wedding! -

Dayve played our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception dinner music at our wedding on September 5th at the Grafton Inn. He was outstanding! Prior to the wedding we spoke a few times to discuss details, song choice. etc. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great music on our special day! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for instrumental music, he is truly fantastic! -

We hired Dayve Huckett (acoustic guitar) and a fellow bass player to play live tunes for our outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Grafton Inn. Dayve was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding and was very familiar with the venue, which helped a lot. He arrived on time to set up and worked with our officiant to make sure she was properly set up for the ceremony. The duo played beautiful music throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour and guests had nothing but great things to say. Dayve and his team are extremely talented and we hope to work with them again in the future! I would highly recommend booking Dayve for your wedding weekend! -

Dave played acoustic guitar for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in June and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped my husband and I decide what songs we wanted for the ceremony and even learned a new song for our recessional. Additionally he covered off on all the little details during the planning process and took it upon himself to coordinate with our wedding planner & officiant. I’d highly recommend Dayve for a wedding or event! -

Dayve did a fantastic job with our ceremony music (acoustic guitar) at Stratton Mountain! Despite it being a bit chilly at the summit, Dayve was still able to play all of our requests and he even learned our first dance song! We appreciated his flexibility during these difficult times. We would definitely recommend Dayve to anyone looking for a ceremony musician in the VT area.
