  Prepare to be surprised

  Our event was for 180 people at the James Museum so Datz helped with a western food theme. I was hesitant to have a grits bar but the guests loved it. Being born and raised in the south, I know grits but these were gourmet grits with an assortment of toppings. All of the food was delicious. The coffee and dessert bar was also a hit with our guests. It would be hard to top the terrific food but I can rate the servers and floor manager as the best I have ever worked with. Professional, efficient and friendly. They made my job for the night a breeze.

  Most amazing catering company!!

  We held a business dinner & reception at the James Museum of Western Art for 50 people. DRG catered the event for us. Laura was such a HUGE help! She listened to what we wanted and came up with a starting point menu. We adjusted the menu from there. She was so accommodating to anything we requested, even special ordering specific wines and NOT overcharging us!! The taco bar, beef tenderloin and ravioli were amazing and the mashed potato bar was top notch!! Jess and her crew were on point and treated everyone like family. It's hard to plan events long distance, but this team made everything so easy and the event turned out beautifully. And to top it off, the prices were VERY reasonable.

  Incredible Food & Service!

  My husband and I were married on 5/21/22 and had such an incredible wedding. Laura was an absolute joy to work with; she was always accessible and quick to respond. We had to change our date and she was very helpful in that stressful situation. The catering staff was absolutely incredible and they all worked so incredibly hard to ensure that everyone was taken care of. The food was amazing, being the bride, I didn't get to eat all that much but what I did have was delicious and all of the guests raved about how amazing it was. I would highly recommend DRG Hospitality!

  Amazing!!!

  Not only was the food DELICIOUS, but DRG was incredible as we had to make multiple, last-minute changes to our wedding due to circumstances (coronavirus) out of (all) of our control. They rolled with every punch and we felt like they were rooting for our wedding to happen just as much as we were. And, because it was so good, it deserves a second mention, the food was AMAZING.

  Highly Recommend DRG Hospitality!

  DRG Hospitality has catered the St. Petersburg Bar Association Annual Judicial Reception for the past two years. Each event included 150-200 attorneys and judges. The service offered by DRG Hospitality was phenomenal from start to finish. We host 60 events per year and DRG Hospitality provides the best service of any of our event vendors. They are flexible, professional, and creative in offering food selection suggestions to fit within the specified budget. When hosting a stressful event with many moving parts, I truly enjoy the peace of mind that DRG Hospitality provides both leading up to the event and the day of the event! I would highly recommend DRG Hospitality!

  Wowowowoow!!!!

  Wow! We cannot begin to explain how amazing of a job Vanessa and her team did for our wedding reception. From the catering, to the set up, to fine details...we were totally blown away. And the food!!!! The food was AMAZING!! Everyone at my wedding reception was raving about it!!!!
  
  Vanessa went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the most perfect reception we could dream of. That girl was working so hard for us the few months leading up the wedding and throughout the entire wedding weekend. She is extremely professional, kind, and detail oriented and we appreciated that so much. We told her exactly what we were looking for and she 100% exceeded our expectations! I can’t begin to explain how special she made us feel. I would trust her and DRG with any other event I have in the future. Amazing amazing job...couldn’t recommend it enough! Give Vanessa a raise!!!

  Film Festival Opening at the James Museum

  We had the very best experience with the staff of the James Museum, in planning and carrying out our Film Festival Opening in October 2019. From the very first steps in contacting the museum, we were treated with utmost professionalism and responsiveness. The venue of course, is gorgeous, and everything went well the night of the event. Our guests were very impressed and satisfied. One aspect I enjoyed in having the event at the James, was being surrounded by so much good art and a positive vibe. Also, the staff was attuned to the details that go into making an event attractive and successful.

  Still dreaming of the food...

  We hosted a client event at the James Museum and had it catered by DRG-Hospitality. I have eaten at Datz for years, and when I heard they were the exclusive caterer at the Museum, I was even more excited. During our consultation, they provided some sample menus, but then we talked through some ideas, and they developed a custom presentation still within our budget. We did a Western/Mexican themed station service for our guests - make your own taco bar, chips and salsa bar, tapas, and dessert of churros with Mexican spiced hot chocolate. The food was so good, we actually ran out of some of it during the event! Everyone had rave reviews, and I was so happy with the flavors, the presentation, and the creativity with each element of every dish. I am still dreaming about the food that night! The staff was attentive, courteous, and professional. We will be having them cater another event soon!

The food selection was customized to allow for our restricted budget, yet they didn't skimp on the quantity and more importantly the flavor! We received rave comments from our associates and guest which made this event one of our best ever! Thank you to all the Datz team members!

  For us, Dazzle was all about the food. It was a huge bonus and convenience for us that they could also do rental items, linens, dishes, etc. Vanessa was great and everything was executed as we discussed.   When considering catering options in Tampa and surrounding areas, I feel Dazzle is the only option. They went above and beyond for both our engagement party and our wedding! All of our guests could not stop talking about the food. Whether it was the sweet and spicy almond chicken and waffle with creme brulee stout and kung pao syrup or the amazing marscapone mac-n-cheese with the cabernet braised beef brisket to just name a few, we were so happy with everything! Chef Laura and her team are one of a kind and make sure to make you feel your wedding is one of a kind! We are so happy we went with Dazzle and would recommend it to everyone looking for a caterer.

  Our wedding was at our home in June. We chose dazzle after our tasting with them because there was absolutely no comparison! The dazzle team took our ideas and what food we liked from the tasting and came up with an incredible menu.
  Dazzle prepared the most amazing, delicious food. And everything was presented in such unique ways and they will work with you for special requests. I wanted to include a vintage dessert bar and Lara worked with me to make my idea a reality. I absolutely loved the dessert bar.
  Lara, Katelyn and the dazzle team went above and beyond any caterer that I’ve worked with! We are so grateful that we chose dazzle for our wedding.

  PERFECTION is the best word to describe Dazzle. They pay meticulous attention to every detail, and the food...OMG... the food is incredible. I recently had an event for a hundred guests at Roux (scheduled to open in June or July). Everyone raved and raved about the food. Dazzle offers one-of-a-kind menu (there's nothing like it in town, and did I mention how crazy good the food was?), fun creative drinks, and personalized professional services. I am a big fan of Datz and Dough, and now, even a bigger fan of Roux!

  Our event wasn't a wedding, but Datz Dazzle hosted The Junior League of Tampa at Roux for a pre-opening event in May. We had more than 100 women in attendance and all had an absolutely AMAZING time! The food was creative and delicious, drinks were cold, tasty and plentiful, and the servers could not have been more helpful, polite and quick. We felt completely pampered. All this for a PRE-opening sneak peek! We are so lucky to have a catering company/restaurant group like this in Tampa. Highly recommended.

  Anyone looking for fabulous food and an amazing caterer and team needs to hire Dazzle. Working with Shane, Chef Laura, and their entire team was a fantastic experience and made the food at our wedding an absolute hit.
  
  When we first started talking about caterers, we knew we wanted the food to be really, really good - we were having a small wedding and no dj so we knew that the food needed to really take the spotlight! Shane made us feel right at home when we met and was extremely easy to work with - flexible, funny, and very genuine. You could tell he cared about our wedding right from the start and he did everything possible to make sure it was everything we hoped it would be - right up to getting his hands dirty and moving tables at the wedding reception!
  
  We kicked off our Dazzle experience with a phenomenal food tasting that really sealed the deal for us food-wise. It really helped us decide what kind of things we wanted to serve and what we might want to tweak based on our guest's food preferences - Dazzle's list of options is long and delicious so the tasting really helped us narrow things down. We also gave them a budget and they altered things until the price was exactly where we wanted to be without sparing an ounce of taste!
  
  Everything was a big hit and the one appetizer that people could not stop talking about was the pulled pork tater tot nachos! Big stars of the dinner portion were the chicken and waffles, truffle ravioli, and cabernet braised short ribs. Everything was unique, had amazing flavors, and was the best food any of us had ever had at a wedding.
  
  I really can't say enough good things about Dazzle - they felt like family during the whole event and their hard work and attention to detail made our evening beyond special and memorable. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone!

  If you are looking for an event caterer, you absolutely MUST call Shane over at Dazzle. Dazzle just recently catered my November 2 wedding at the RITZ in Ybor and not only were my husband and I blown away, but so were all of our guests.
  
  When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we were really freaked out about how to pick an awesome caterer. We had a fairly strict budget but what we were mostly concerned about was quality of food. While we aren’t foodies, many of our guests are and we most certainly didn’t want to serve typical boring wedding fare. And, we felt insulted that most caterers wanted to charge thousands of dollars for a dried out chicken breast and lame wilted lettuce/tomato/onion salad with crusty rolls.
  
  But, we didn’t feel our budget fit with the upper echelon of food service. Until we met Shane over at Dazzle. There are about 100 reasons why I would recommend Dazzle, but here is my top:
  - The food was outright delicious and the presentation blew us away. Seriously, my guests were drooling. And it was mass appealing without being typical and boring.
  - We got high fives and handshakes from all our guests when they found out Dazzle (associated with the awesome Datz) was at our wedding. Total cool points!
  - The service staff was incredible and all my needs and guest’s needs were tended to with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  - Shane actually worked with my real budget in totality. Not like other caterers where I told them my budget, they came back with that exact number, but oops, didn’t add tax, gratuity, linens, delivery charges, etc. etc. I told Shane my bottom line price and he fit every single item- everything- into that budget.
  - Shane is a total professional. He is so detail-oriented and he will do everything possible to make your vision come to life.
  
  Please give them a call. You will not regret doing so!

  Very very delicious food

  The food was delicious. It was even better at the wedding than it was at the tasting. At first, it was slightly difficult to get in touch with them because they’re super busy and the book fast, but once the wedding got closer, they were way more responsive. It was also hard to schedule a tasting that fit with our work schedules, so we didn’t get to taste all the things we wanted to offer at the wedding, but we’re beyond pleased with how everything turned out at the actual wedding. The only complaint would be that they ran out of the alcohol for the signature drink pretty soon into the reception. Other than that, service was great that night, everything was so delicious and fresh, cocktail hour was perfection, and I would use them again.

  Delicious!

  Our wedding was at the James Museum in St. Pete and DRG Hospitality is their in-house caterer. We worked with Laura and Vanessa throughout the planning process and both of them were awesome. Our wedding was planned and hosted during covid-19, and we appreciated how flexible they were with us. We had such a blast with Vanessa at our tasting and our guests are still talking about how this was some of the best wedding food they ever had (we're biased, but we agree).
  
  DRG also handled our bar service and we paid for an upgraded open bar for 4 hours. The selection of drinks was great. However, they ran out of a lot of items very quickly. The bar opened at 6:30 pm and by 9:00 they were already out of Yuengling. They also ran out of most other beers and seltzers by 9:30. At one point, they told guests they couldn't give them shots, but then started giving out shots later on. For as much as we paid for the open bar, we're very disappointed they ran out of so many things so early. However, this is really our only complaint.
  
  Overall, meal service was speedy and delicious and their entire staff was very kind and professional. We'd work with Vanessa and the team again for sure - we'd just want to work out the bar situation in more detail first.
