  Dean had everyone movin’ and groovin’

  We hired Dean to play music during our cocktail hour for our wedding this past August. He really kicked the night of partying off with his music. We were impressed by the wide variety of music genres he covered. He was set up outside on a warm August afternoon, but people did not seemed bothered by the heat and started groovin along with him. My wife and I got plenty of compliments from guests for our choice of cocktail entertainment. I come from a family of DJ’s and my wife comes of family of musicians and everyone had nothing but nice things to say about Dean

  Dean Parra is the best!

  Dean was super fun to work with when we first met him. He was referred to us by my dads friend which Dean was also a part of for his daughters wedding. I felt my husband and I clicked with him right away and he knew exactly what we were looking for on our special day. He played 3 songs during our ceremony that we got to choose and he helped pick a couple last minute since we just loved all the pieces he played for us. During our wedding cocktail hour before the reception we had him play upbeat songs that set the mood for our guests to start mingling and have a few drinks or two. My husband and I recommend Dean Parra a million times because he created a memory for us that will never ever be forgotten!

  Dean is not only professional, but was completely dedicated to helping enhance our big day through his music. He took the time to get to know us, learning what we did and didn’t like, and what was important to us, both individually, and as a couple.
  
  When speaking to him, I shared what a big part music played growing up in my family, and how my earliest memories are of my dad playing his guitar and singing. Dean suggested that instead of traditional procession choices, I should walk down the aisle to one of the songs my father wrote. I was able to shoot video of a song during a family bbq and sent it over to Dean. He didn’t just learn the song, but he turned it into an instrumental masterpiece! Better than the original (Please don’t tell my dad!!). It was the exact non-corny, personal touch I was looking for—a touching moment for my family. My greatest wedding memory...other than saying “I do.” We cannot recommend him highly enough!

  My husband had originally booked Dean to play a requested set during his proposal to me, which turned out absolutely beautiful!
  We loved Dean so much, that we asked him to play at our wedding as well! Not only was he extremely accommodating to our decision to have a destination wedding, but he also learned a brand new song to play as I walked down the aisle, which made my wedding day feel all the more special to me.
