When we found Anna & Andrew, we had planned for a small San Diego elopement, but weeks before the wedding, plans had to drastically change (COVID). We had decided to get married in a different state, Arizona. Which meant in ~2 weeks notice we had to change all of our plans. Except for our photographers, Dear Lovers. We had only hoped they would agree to still photograph our day because of how much we loved their work. We were beyond grateful that they agreed and came to Sedona for our new elopement, and when it came to our wedding day we were even more grateful to them. They made us feel comfortable, and confident. Every time they took a photo we felt like ourselves, which was important to us. I would recommended Dear Lovers Photography just based on how easy it was to work with them.
When we got our photos back, they were everything and more. We found Anna & Andrew on instagram, loving the film photography. The light, airy, timeless and romantic style, that's what we loved and wanted, and that was exactly what they captured for us. In a word their photos are ethereal. We feel lucky to have such amazing photos to cherish forever. -

Anna and Andrew are absolutely the best! I would recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful, classic, and timeless film photography!!
We had the most amazing experience with them over the past year. They photographed our engagement shoot in California and our wedding in Vermont. I can remember our first call with them, last February, and after speaking with them for just 30 minutes, we knew we had to use them! We just clicked!
They are both so kind, fun to be around, and had us constantly laughing throughout the day. Andrew and Anna both have an incredible eye for catching natural light in photos, and they helped to guide us to make the photos feel so natural, comfortable, and easy. We truly had the best experience with them. They were so organized throughout the entire process and made sure to capture every picture that we had mapped out beforehand.
Our photos are so beautiful as a result of the immense time and care that these two put into their work. We were looking for classic and timeless photography to capture the natural beauty of the Vermont scenery and the formal garden at our wedding venue. They have far surpassed our expectations, and we are so in love with all of the photography!!
Anna and Andrew are truly the best at what they do, and we are so happy that they were a part of our wedding!!! Thank you Anna and Andrew!! -

Dear Lovers (Anna & Andrew) are hands down the BEST wedding photographers you can buy. My search for a wedding photography vendor began & ended with Dear Lovers. I knew right away from their timeless & beautifully romantic photography displayed on their website portfolio that they were the perfect match for my wedding.
When I had my first phone call with Andrew, I was so pleased & comforted how Andrew was able to break down the answers to all my questions & concerns. Andrew & Anna are so patient & kind, they honestly feel like you've known them for years whenever you are in their presence. Our ceremony wedding was simple & intimate, no chairs, no signage, no flower arrangements, just us & nature. After our ceremony, we drove over to my parent's backyard for our outside/indoor reception. I feel so humbled every time I look at my wedding photos because Andrew & Anna did a perfect job tieing in the intimacy in our photos from the ceremony to the simple backyard reception. Today, Dear Lovers remain our to-go photographers for whenever my husband & I have life events we want to be captured. -

Timeless & Perfect
After we had got engaged, we took some time to start wedding planning. I had seen dear lovers work about a year ago via a friend of mine's wedding. I was inspired by their photos and knew it would be those pictures that would create the memories that would recreate our special day for years to come. Not to mention that they were so timeless and elegant, unlike many of the photographers often recommended by venues and wedding planners during the stages of planning.
Anna and Andrew met us a few months before our wedding when we traveled from New Jersey to San Deigo. We met them at a local coffee shop where they showed us samples of their work and even sweet Anna gave me the most delicious chocolate ever. We instantly felt a connection to them and knew we had to book.
Anna & Andrew made the day of super easy and all about us. They were funny, sweet, organized and makes you feel like you’ve been friends a long time. Most importantly, their work speaks for itself. Our pictures are amazing; just what I had hoped for and more. I cried scrolling through them the first 100 times reliving our perfect day. I would highly recommend Anna and Andrew to anyone who wants to invest in their future photos. To us, it was the most important and best decision we made for our wedding. Anna & Andrew, thank you a million times.

Dani- Dearlovers (Married 6/15/19)
Dani was one of the first vendors I hired a year and a half ago. We met for coffee and I knew right away I wanted to be alongside us on our wedding day. She’s the sweetest and most professional photographer and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to shoot the most special day of our lives!!! HIGHLY recommend her and lucky we locked her down! -

I can't imagine having anyone else alongside us on our wedding day!! Hiring the right photographer was so important to me that it was my top-priority vendor. Dani is talented, confident, and calm. Her pleasant, calm demeanor on such a chaotic, high-energy day was so appreciated, and I will be forever grateful for her. She knows exactly what she is doing, and I did not have to worry about a thing. Not only did Dani impress me with her insanely beautiful talent, but with her professionalism as well. She is always prompt at returning emails, prepared with all forms needed for shot lists, photo shoot tips, etc, while also being extremely personable and genuine. Our wedding photos are absolutely STUNNING, and I am beaming with joy as I look at the full, dreamy gallery again for probably the 74th time and we only got married a month ago! :) Dani is the ultimate wedding film photographer for classic, timeless photos of your biggest day, while also being sure to cater to each couple by capturing their authentic and unique love for one another. -

My husband and I hired Anna & Andrew from Dear Lovers for our engagement shoot and wedding day. I love the look of bright, airy and romantic film photography so I was immediately drawn to their work. Overall, we had a wonderful experience working with them! Anna and Andrew are so nice and were very responsive to our emails throughout the entire process. I also appreciated how flexible they were about traveling for our engagement shoot (we did it at Big Sur!). They did an amazing job making us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot & wedding day and they made us look GOOD! They know all the right poses to make you look the best. They are so talented and their work speaks for itself! Highly recommend!! -

Dani from Dear Lovers Photography is not only the sweetest but takes gorgeous photos. When I was looking for a photographer for our wedding, she was the only one I reached out to who wanted to meet my fiancé and I to get to know us before making our final decision.
She was super helpful and responsive throughout the whole process from scheduling the engagement shoot to last minute questions prior to the wedding. She brought a second photographer, James, the day of the wedding. They were so easy to work with and captured the day beautifully.
I would recommend Dani and Dear Lovers Photography to anyone and will definitely use them again for my own photography needs in the future. -
Brittni Sent on 03/07/2018We decided to use Anna and Andrew from Dear Lovers Photography after I met them at the bridal bazaar with my mom. Their work was our favorite even after seeing so many that day! Anna and Andrew took so much time helping us plan our wardrobe for our engagement shoot and met with us to get coffee to talk about the feel that we wanted for our wedding day. They were even an integral part in getting our wedding day timeline together! My husband did not want to do a "first look" (he wanted to see me for the first time walking down the eisle). This made our wedding day timeline extremely tight for getting photos in before the sun set! Anna and Andrew were extremely professional on the day of our wedding and helped everyone stay on top of the schedule so that we could get family portraits that we wanted to capture. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos that are framed in our homes! We were also thrilled with our wedding photos! I have been looking through them and trying to pick a few favorites to frame but every single photo is perfect! They even gave us the film prints in a wooden keepsake box so that we could have tangible copies of our memories for years to come. I would highly recommend Anna and Andrew from Dear Lovers! They are extremely talented and all-around great people! We will definitely be looking to them to document future family milestones :)

We could not love our photos more! They use both film and digital cameras to make sure to get you the best quality possible. They are the nicest couple and make you feel comfortable in what could be an awkward experience. They are worth it. -

Lauren Sent on 05/20/2017I found Deer Lovers Photography upon visiting the San Diego Bridal Bazaar and was immediately in love. Anna and Andrew are also the sweetest couple and I knew they would provide me with the professionalism and quality of photos I wanted. They were both extremely sweet, helpful, responsive and knew exactly the look we were going for. When we did our engagement photo shoot we got to see exactly how great Anna and Andrew work as a team. It was also helpful as they guided us how position ourselves in photos while making us look natural as if we were not being photographed.
Our wedding day was no exception and working with them all day had a nice flow and we just had so much fun working with them. I love how Anna and Andrew have their own unique style and they allow each other the opportunity to take photos when they see something special. On top of everything else, they offer film photography that I highly recommend you add to your package.
If I had to go back in time and do it all over, I would not hesitate to hire Deer Lovers Photography again and again!

Picking the photographer was one of the most important things to us when it came to our wedding and choosing Anna and Andrew was one of the easiest decision we made. They did our engagement photos as well as capturing our wedding, and the photos are stunning. We are so happy that we are able to relive the best day of our lives by looking through the gorgeous wedding album they made us. They were so easy to work with, and so talented at what they do! It wasn't until I stepped into Andrew & Anna's welcoming, natural, and exquisite booth of beautiful woods & even more beautiful photographs that I became excited for my own wedding. They were our engagement shoot & wedding photographers. Andrew & Anna are very in sync with each other on a working level to produce wonderful compilations of pictures for your memories. They'll put you at ease with their friendliness, humor, and professionalism. The presentation of photos and albums you will receive are quaint, professional, loving, & unlike any I've seen. Their vision of love exudes in each photograph they will take of you. We were lucky to have them travel from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Mex for our destination wedding.
