  Excellent!

  My experience with Franca and Deflorio Fashion was excellent! Franca was so organized, patient, and supportive during the entire process. She helped me customize my dress, and made important changes along the way based on my initial fitting. It felt so much more personal going to Deflorio's than your typical "bridal shop." Not only are her designs one of a kind, but she does all the alterations, steaming, and prepping. I can't wait for the big day!

  Great experience! Would highly recommend!

  I first came to Deflorio Fashion Bridal in 2019 for a wedding booked for 2020. With the pandemic, my wedding was postponed twice. Franca was absolutely great in keeping my dress for me throughout the pandemic, and did a great job with alterations. She also sewed a cute mask that matched the beading on my dress/dress style, and also helped design my veil so that it matched the beading of my dress. Overall, I could not be happier with the service and have recommended Franca to other people/my bridesmaids as well. You could tell that Franca really cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to make sure they're happy. I would definitely recommend Franca to anyone looking to buy a dress, a veil, do a custom design, or for their alterations!!

  Looking for the perfect dress? Franca will help you create it! I struggled to find the perfect dress. I knew what dress details I liked, but had never seen the exact dress I was looking for. I sent Franca some ideas of what I liked and she helped me bring my vision to life. She is professional, knowledgable, creative, and an absolute joy to work with. She was flexible when I needed to move my appointments around, and accommodative to everyone I wanted to bring to my fittings. I had not 1, but 3 fittings to help make sure my dress fit perfectly. Franca even helped me decide what jewelry and shoes would look best with my dress when I was having trouble deciding. She truly went above and beyond.   I felt 100% taken care of by Franca.

  Working with Franca was a beyond exceptional experience both in terms of the final result and fit of my dress as well as overall service. I had received my dress from a popular wedding dress manufacturer but they had measured me improperly and I ended up with a size too large in all areas of the dress. My wedding was coming up very soon and every other dress alterationist that came recommended told me they were too busy to make my wedding date. I was extremely grateful when Franca called me only a few hours after I had made my inquiry to her. She expressed sincere concern over the phone about my predicament and asked how soon the wedding was coming. She got me in immediately to see how the dress fit and was very honest that much alteration would need to be done. She also encouraged me to let the manufacturer know how the sizing was incorrect and because of her encouragement I managed to be partially refunded for their inaccuracy. After 3 total appointments with Franca I had a perfectly fitted dress that looked like it was made to my size. She took in every single part to make sure it fit me and that I was happy with the look. She changed the neckline expertly despite me only giving vague desires for what I believed the neckline should look like, and even added in a part of the alteration without charge because she felt badly about my initial experience with the manufacturer. Franca is very experienced and truly talented at what she does. She has gifted eyes and hands, and a true awareness for what I was asking for in a single appointment. In short, my dress is beautiful, Franca is an extremely caring, meticulous, and honest wedding dress maker, and I could not be more grateful and impressed at her handiwork. She was also able to move up the dress completion date in order for me to be able to bring my dress home to California, so it was ready 2 weeks earlier than initially estimated. I really could not have done this without her, and I would recommend Franca to any of my friends! I'm in love with this dress!

  Highly Recommend DeFlorio Fashion!

  I had such a wonderful experience with Franca at DeFlorio Fashion for my wedding dress! The whole process from start to finish was easy, enjoyable, and perfect! At each appointment, Franca was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Franca was amazing with communication – so organized, detailed, and professional. She provided such clear emails and always responded promptly. I provided her with my Pinterest board of wedding gowns that I liked and she was able to create my own unique one of a kind beautiful wedding dress! I also decided to make a change to my dress (adding more volume to the gown) later on in the process and Franca was so accommodating and did exactly what I requested. Wedding planning can be stressful, but having someone as detail-oriented and super organized as Franca helped put my mind at ease, especially with such a big decision like choosing your wedding gown! She also gave me a gorgeous sketch of my dress, made a mask that matched my gown, and made an adorable pillow for our rings! These extra special personal touches made an already fantastic experience even better! I was treated with such kindness and respect throughout the whole wedding dress process, it was such an amazing experience! I HIGHLY recommend Franca and DeFlorio Fashion!!

  Franca was incredible to work with. All of her dresses were such high quality and beautiful, plus she goes above and beyond to make sure it is just perfect for your wedding day. Out of everywhere we went, this was by far the best experience. Personalized service and immaculate dresses. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful dress.

  Wedding Dress - Deflorio is the best place. You can tell that Franca truly cares about her customers. The experience was the best from the begging and it just got better and better. She took time to understand my vision for the big day and all of the details, before she even started to show me options. She was spot on :) I made a decision during my first visit. I wanted to modify the dress and she was beyond helpful. I made few additions to the style and I was so so pleased with my dress. It is stunning. Franca answered all my questions and communicated everything really well during the process. She is truly a super star. She accomplished everything that we discussed and more. I couldn’t have chosen a better place for myself. I would recommend Deflorio with my eyes closed. You can have the confidence that you are in good hands. I have no complaints at all.   Treated Like Family

  I had decided to go with Franca for many reasons, one being how she treated my family. On the day I decided on the dress, I had brought my 14mo old nephew and my mom. Bringing a toddler to any place is a challenge all by itself; however Franca made sure he was preoccupied by bringing him toys. This small gesture convinced me more to purchase a dress from there. I ended up going with a BEAUTIFUL fit and flare dress! Best decision ever made.

  I had decided to go with Franca for many reasons, one being how she treated my family. On the day I decided on the dress, I had brought my 14mo old nephew and my mom.   After purchasing the dress, I saw Franca 3 more times. Two for fitting. The third visit is fitting and pick up.
  
  She explained everything and asked me how comfortable I felt in the dress. Each fitting for me is approximately an hour but that's because I facetime my mother so she can see the dress as well (she lives out of state). Franca was very helpful in terms of accommodating and explaining everything to my mother as well. She would hold my phone and show my mother my dress.
  
  On the pick up day she made sure I knew how to bustle the dress and walk me slowly through how to put the dress on. Very professional. Franca is so kind that she sew a pillow for my rings. It seems like the fabric of the pillow is from my dress so it is very thoughtful.
  
  Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a wedding dress. The whole experience has been nothing but wonderful.

She reconstructed the back and front of my gown in a way that looked more natural than the original design. I purchased my dress off the rack, several sizes too big, and she resized it so it fit like it was made for me. She was cheerful, responsive, and affordable. She even created a (gratis) ring pillow out of the lace/material from my gown—it was beautiful. Franca has a wealth of experience in wedding gown design, reconstruction, and resizing. I’m so glad I went with her and would definitely recommend her.

  Perfect Alterations from a Talented Professional

  Franca has such talent and attention to detail; she elevated the look and fit of my dress so it was absolutely stunning on my wedding day. The details she suggested were some I wouldn’t have thought of myself. She knows everything that needs to be done to make the dress perfect and is considerate of the bride’s vision. Franca also has a beautiful selection of jewelry, belts, and head pieces. I loved working with Franca and would do so again for any formal occasion. I highly recommend Deflorio!!

  Franca is nothing short of amazing!! I came into her shop and fell in love with a vision in mind and in 5 minutes she sketched it out for me exactly as I described. Watching my custom made dress come together with every fitting was so exciting, Franca was so easy to work with and made every change I requested no matter how small. The service, the quality and the price could not be beat! If you are in Chicago and looking for a custom made dress, seriously do not go anywhere else!

I had my wedding in Texas and Franca was very understanding and helpful on shipping my dress from Chicago to Texas. I am very thankful for her and her part in my special day.   Custom made wedding dress by Deflorio Fashion

  Franca was so amazing to work with. Such a different experience than the larger retail/chain stores. She has a selection of dresses, but also makes dresses. After trying on what seemed like 1,000 dresses and still not having found "the one", I decided to have Franca make my dress. I showed her pictures of dresses I tried on and things I liked about them and she sketched my dress. I even got to pick the lace and silk she used to make it, and throughout the process was able to make changes as I tried it on at each fitting. I will admit, that it was a little nerve wrecking. The dress wasn't complete until about a month or so before the wedding. But it was worth it and I would definitely do it again. Franca is extremely patient, kind, talented and professional.

  Franca and her team are AMAZING! They altered my sample dress from a size 10 to a size 0 - basically remade the entire thing without losing any of the original style! Franca was professional and has invaluable experience. Great value for the custom work.
