  We are members of DeLoach winery and have always been treated well at the winery. When we were looking for spots to have our wedding, the Guest House at the rear of the DeLoach property was at the top of our list because of the beauty of the location and layout. At the early meetings we created a contingent that we could move our outdoor wedding and lunch inside if we kept to under 64 guests (there were 62!) This was fortunate since on out wedding day, the temperature outside was 100 degrees at noon! Later that day it reached 109! We did have our ceremony outside and Anne Seeley at DeLoach provided umbrellas and parasols for the guests. Cocktails and lunch were moved into the great room of the Guest House the event was beautiful and a huge success.
  Anne Seeley and her team were amazing, they were so flexible and accommodating. They went above and beyond expectations time and time again. We decided to move the wedding lunch inside 2 days before the wedding and Anne had all of the furniture moved and tables set exactly as promised.
  I cannot recommend DeLoach, Anne Seeley and her team more highly for a place to have an exception wedding!
  To use DeLoach as the wedding site, they required us to use their wine, which is delicious, and that was part of the expense listed.

  This place is beyond beautiful!! My husband and I had our wedding at DeLoach on July 30th and it was absolute perfection. The property is gorgeous and provided an amazing backdrop for our big day. Anne, the special events manager, was so easy to work with and so accommodating. This was a destination wedding for 160 guests so having someone who was so responsive and knowledgeable just made the process so much better. We utilized the entire guest house property the day of. We welcomed our guests with refreshments in the Theater of Nature gardens which were in full bloom, hosted the ceremony on the lawn of the guest house looking out to the vines, had the cocktail reception in the back yard by the pool, had dinner in the outdoor dining area, and danced the night away in the great room of the guest house. We stayed in the guest house that entire weekend as well.
  
  We also worked with Anne to do a wine tasting the day before the wedding for our wedding party. We did it in the backyard of the house and walked them through the wines we would be drinking at the wedding. One of the best things about DeLoach is that the wine is good! One of our stipulations was that if we were going to HAVE to drink the wine of the vineyard we had the wedding at then it had to be good wine. DeLoach has a great selection to choose from including the JCB sparkling wine from another property of theirs. I could go on and on about how amazing this property and Anne was. I can't wait to go back and visit every time we head out to wine country.

  Wow wow wow!!!!
  If you are looking for a romantic vineyard wedding, DeLoach is where you want to be!!!
  The atmosphere is perfect California vineyard, rustic, charming, beautiful, romantic ... the staff are wonderful, friendly, hard-working ... the wine is phenomenal .... David Fackrell is the event coordinator and so much fun to work with. We used the Delaoch caterers and the food was amazing! I highly recommend this location for your wedding or special event!

  We had our wedding at DeLoach in July, 2014, and it was everything we hoped it would be. DeLoach was a perfect venue, and the following is what made it so special. 1. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and very accommodating in terms of decorations and working with my vision for the wedding. The guesthouse area didn't need too much decorating as it was already very pretty, but some lighting at sunset made the place even more charming and intimate. The venue was a favorite part of the wedding for many of our guests. We had about 80+ guests and they fit comfortably. 2. It was affordable and quite a reasonable price for Sonoma (and we had looked at many other locations) for everything we could do with the space. The entire guesthouse area was booked for the wedding which means we could get ready on site (made everything much less stressful to be on site to answer questions, take photos etc). There were no other events there that day, so we had the place to ourselves. 3. There were endless combinations of what we could do with the space. There were many places for the guests to mingle, for kids to wander, and of course for photographs. This included their gorgeous vineyards, green with small grapes on the vines against clear blue sky in the summer; a pool area, a large lawn area which we used for the ceremony, a small farm area with sheep, chickens, and an herb garden, and a front deck area with fire pits. We were able to use the pool area for the reception, and the guesthouse main hall was accommodated our dance floor. 4. The special events coordinator: David Fackrell, who was crucial in helping us keep our stress level to a minimum. Organizing a meeting with him was simple, efficient, and incredibly helpful, and we did this 3-4 times over the course planning the wedding. He was also very responsive to our emails and requests. He helped with rentals (including helping us find things we could use to keep costs down), with coordinating with our outside caterer, with th

  Deloach is such a great venue because you can do your ceremony and reception in one place no matter the size of your guest list. David was awesome in coordinating and helping make my dream wedding come true. He was on top of it all and communicated closely with my mom who was helping me since she lives in California and I live in Florida. We had our ceremony behind the guest house in the back yard on the lawn and our reception in the front with plent of room for all of our guests. We also had our reception catered by Chef Sue, the Chef who works for Deloach and she created the perfect menu for us. The food was great and our wedding went seamlessly due to all of the help and the Deloach Staff.

  DeLoach was the perfect venue for our wedding! We came in from New York City with 50 of our closest friends and family and had a wonderful ceremony on the front lawn, back dropped by the vines full of grapes, followed by a cocktail hour on the patio of the guest house. Dinner was set up in the back yard, a perfect size for our guest count, and dancing was inside the guest house.
  
  Everything came together beautifully and the setting was absolutely magical.
  
  When we signed our contract with DeLoach we were working with David as the coordinator on site. He was wonderful and worked closely with our wedding planner as well. Unfortunately, he stopped working at the vineyard at the end of 2014. The vineyard has struggled to find a replacement for him and we worked with 3 other part-time coordinators over the course of the last 9 months. It's been a bit of a challenge as some of the items discussed with each coordinator didn't get passed from one to the next. We were supposed to have access to the barrel room for pictures and they never unlocked it for us. When we asked, no one seemed to know what we were talking about (even though we'd discussed it in person the day before, but that coordinator was not there that day). We were also told by one coordinator that a small tray of food would be delivered to the bridesmaids while we were getting ready before the ceremony and that also never happened.
  
  But aside from those minor details, the experience was incredible. Hopefully they find someone to take on the role full time because it's a wonderful venue!

Of all the places we looked for our large guest list, DeLoach had the most attractive setting and the best price. (It was a little more expensive than one other option in Sonoma but the cost to our guests would have been tripled what it was in Santa Rosa.) We opted for a Sunday wedding to lessen the cost. There were definitely some kinks that needed to be ironed out as there were some staff changes over the winter, but we loved our venue and our parents were thrilled to stay in the guest house for the entire wedding weekend. It is a beautiful spot with some really incredible wine. We love being part of the DeLoach family.
