  Excellent venue

  My wedding was back in June and family members are still talking about how great our wedding was. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was held at the hotel. The hotel provides coordinating services which was awesome. Kate is great, she helped a lot. We were not expecting her to be as involved as she was but she was excellent! The food was delicious to say the least. I would recommend any bride to check out this venue, especially if expecting a lot of out of town guest.

  If you are looking for a classy wedding on a budget this is the place to go. I worked mostly with Nicole there and she was nothing short of amazing. There was so many deatils to my recpetion and they all came out perfect. I never felt as though I was bugging someone by emailing them they were so eager to please. The food was wonderful and the event was more than I could have imagined.

  My husband and I had our wedding at the Chesapeake Marriott. I can't say enough wonderful things about the world class service we received. Throughout the entire process we enjoyed working with the staff at the Marriott. The staff was exceptionally professional and very understanding to the concept of how I wanted my wedding reception. I didn't come across a single staff member that didn't go out of their way to make our special day a truly rememberable experience. A few things stuck out in my mind when writing this review. The serving staff was exception when it comes to serving our guests and us. We had a server just for my husband and I, who served us our personalized meals and drinks from the bar. Other wait staff assisted our elderly guests by getting their desired entrees from the buffet line, so they wouldn't have to get up. The chef was excellent as well. We didn't realize we had a vegan guest and he inquired about what the rolls were made out of so he could just eat some rolls and veggies, so the chef took it upon himself to make a special vegan meal for our guest. The room that we received complaints to the Marriott was such a beautiful suite to say the least! We were welcomed to our room with 2 dinner meals (which was nice because we didn't eat much being that we were busy greeting and thanking guests), a tray of various desserts and a bottle of champagne. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. If you want to truly feel like a princess for a day, have your wedding at the Chesapeake Marriott! I guarantee you won't regret it!

  Impossible to Book

  We took a tour in May. Since then, have sent several texts and left a couple of voicemails trying to book. No response. The tour was great and the communication was good until it came time to try to book with them. Highly disappointed as they were our top choice.
