  WOW! What an incredible experience for our big day! One of our biggest necessities was having great food at our wedding, we wanted our guests to enjoy every aspect of our reception. We received endless compliments from friends and family about how wonderful the food was from top to bottom! The prices were right in our price range, especially for the amount that was supplied for our guests, we never had to worry about there not being enough food and anyone not getting what they wanted. All of the food was fresh and delicious, we would absolutely choose Der Dutchman Catering again for any event! They also did an excellent job helping us coordinate our dessert trays- since neither of us care for cake and LOVE their donuts, we chose to have an assortment of donuts for our guests to choose from. Rather than giving us a prescribed list, we were able to come in (with several very excited taste testers) and got to experience each delectable pastry to make our decisions on which ones we wanted present. They even met our unique request to have a long john frosted half white, half chocolate so we could cut it ceremoniously since we did not have a cake. All of our guests raved about how delicious the donuts were, and it was yet another great hit at our wedding! The staff were very helpful and friendly, meeting any needs of our guests, and made all of our worries vanish the day of! Again, Der Dutchman is one of the best decisions we have made (other than marrying each other, of course), and we look forward to attending their Plain City restaurant each year on our anniversary. Thank you so much for making our day perfect, we would recommend them to anyone who asks!

  Rachel was fantastic to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. Once we had a final table count, we were able to add apple butter and amish peanut butter to each table and she had an updated invoice for us within hours. She responded quickly to emails and communicated well with the venue coordinator to make sure everything would go seamlessly on the day of. The food itself was beyond delicious, presented well, and was hot. All the servers were very professional and complimented me on my wedding. I can't say enough good things about them!

  Der Dutchman of Sarasota, FL catered our wedding and I couldn't be happier. From the moment I began planning with Ruby, to the day of the wedding, I am SO happy we decided on Der Dutchman. The service was professional and precise. The food was delicious. I was able to incorporate some of my mother's Polish cooking into the food line and Der Dutchman gladly served it. I recommend Der Dutchman to anyone in the area looking for comfort food served with class!

  If you want a delightful wedding and reception experience, The "Der" is the place to go. They worked with us and any changes we made even up to the night before the event.
  My daughter always wanted to be escorted to and from her wedding in a horse drawn carriage and they had just the horse and driver to make her dream come true.
  Food of course was great, rental was affordable, and the staff was truly professional and available.

  I am the mother of the bride. We held the reception at Der Dutchman. The food was excellent, and the service exceptional. The staff were very easy to work with and made the whole thing so easy for us. They do not allow alcohol on the premises, which wasn't an issue for us, but you should be aware of this before booking.

  Der Dutchman did not disappoint. The price was right, the delivery was flawless, and the service was exceptional. Our servers were kind, courteous, and graced everyone with a smile. The food was even better than when we've gone to the restaurant! The roasted red potatoes are to die for, and the green beans were raved about by the "best green bean chef" at our reception. The broasted chicken was hot, crispy and juicy, and the roast beef was tender and moist. Everything was perfect, and we send a big THANK YOU to Der Dutchman!
