    Natalie is THE best wedding planner

    Hiring Natalie was the best decision we made for our wedding! She is extremely knowledgeable as she’s worked in the wedding industry for many years. Natalie was very helpful and made our wedding planning a breeze with her checklists. She knew the answer the every question and thought of many things we didn’t! Our week before and day of was very relaxing because of Natalie. The wedding ran very smoothly because of Natalie, she made sure everything was perfect. She is so nice and personable and truly wants the best day for you and your family. We are so thankful for Natalie and her team, and all of their hard work!

    Hands Down the Best

    When our venue told us we had to hire a coordinator, I was skeptical. When we started interviewing coordinators, I was immediately sold on Natalie. Having helped several friends plan their weddings, I was torn between hiring someone that would really just finish things off and execute vs someone I could hand everything to and trust it would work out. Natalie was absolutely the latter, and she was worth every penny. Natalie helped us reimagine our day more than once, given the shifting restrictions and regulations, and was willing to help however we needed her to. I was so relaxed about the decor, etc because I knew all I needed to do was inventory and label where things went (approximately) and she would make it gorgeous. The whole day was absolutely perfect - Natalie and her team coordinated our vendors, the rehearsal (done during our first look), setup, and made sure everything was seamless. We'll be recommending Natalie to everyone we know!

    Hire Natalie and her team!!!

    Natalie and her team were amazing through the entire planning process and on the day of. With covid it was not easy to plan a wedding that I wasn’t sure was even happening. Natalie helped every step of the way and her weekly checklists and check ins really helped make the planning process less daunting. I would recommend Designed Perfectly Events to anyone planning a wedding!

    Positive and calm with an eye for beauty

    Natalie is amazing to work with from start to finish. I've had the pleasure to work alongside her on numerous weddings and each one she was courteous and friendly while in control and taking care of all the details behind the scenes. She knows the wedding industry and knows the questions to ask before you think to ask them, and is communicative and organized throughout the process. Your wedding will be exactly what you dream of if Natalie is on your team.

    My Husband and I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Natalie! Planning a wedding is one of the most stressful things a couple and family can go through. Natalie took it one step at a time so it was easy for us to digest everything. She is extremely thorough in the decision making process, and made sure we were happy with everything we chose. Natalie is very professional, and always responsive to e-mails-- I would get a response from her almost instantly. Aside from all of that, she brought her years of expertise into planning our wedding. She added a lot of fun/creative ideas that we didn't even think of, while also giving us the freedom to choose what we want.

    Where Natalie really shined was the day of the wedding. Tension was high and the whole family was incredibly stressed out. Throughout the entire day, Natalie stayed calm, cool, and collected. Without her guiding us through the day, I truly don't know what would have happened. She was very attentive and communicative with us the whole day, which allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our own wedding!

    We highly recommend Natalie for any wedding, party, or celebration! We want to throw another party so we can work with Natalie again!

    Natalie was referred to us by the catering manager we were initially working with. Through a venue change and some other shifts in wedding plans Natalie helped ensure everything went so smoothly. I hired Natalie as my Day of Coordinator. Her services kick in month of and she kept my anxious self calm and on top of everything that needed to get done. She stayed on top of payments, deadlines, and other little details I would have NEVER been able to handle on my own. She is genuine, kind, made the best vendor recommendations, and just couldn't have been any better! My husband and I walked away from our wedding day SO SO grateful to have met and worked with Natalie.

    If you want the bottom line, here it is: Hire Natalie.

    I don't write reviews or post things on social media, but I made sure to get on here, just in order to say that.
    Because I have to tell you, the learning curve for my first wedding as MOB was rather steep. Early on in the process, the bride and I had to decide whether to hire a "day-of" coordinator. My daughter works a demanding job, and I live on the other coast, so we thought we might need some extra help, with lots of out-of-town guests and a tight timeline at the venue. Still, our budget was stretched pretty thin, and we worried about spending money on something as "invisible" as a planner.
    Well, that was some of the best money we ever spent. Because Natalie makes the "visible" elements of your event work smoothly to serve your end goal, which means you get more of what you’re hoping for across the board. She's aware of how to keep all the parts moving on wedding day so you don't get stuck directing traffic, or cleaning up alone when the guests are gone. She goes about her work calmly and unobtrusively, and is there to answer questions whenever you need her, without being pushy. She coordinates with your vendors to help them help you, and does it so pleasantly that everyone enjoys her.
    Natalie kept us on course. She knows where the minefields are, and manages to steer around them without causing panic in the ranks. She’s alert to every detail, but also has a generous presence and easy laugh that kind of make you want to go out and get a donut with her when it's all over. I think that's important to say, because people right up close to you on wedding day fall into the same category as people you'd consider having in the delivery room. It's likely to get intense, and you don't need someone in there who's gonna wave their arms around and make you crazy.
    I could go on, but honestly, the point is I'd hire Natalie again in a second, and not just because it’s worth every penny.

    Natalie was the month-of coordinator for my November 2017 wedding and she was awesome! From the moment we first talked on the phone, I knew I'd be in good hands. You can tell she really knows the ins and outs of wedding coordination. She had done weddings at our venue before and had also worked with many of our vendors which was extremely reassuring. Prior to the wedding, she reached out to all our vendors to coordinate timelines and schedules with them, and she also checked their contracts on our behalf. Not only did she handle everything on the day of the wedding, she also did the venue walk-through with us and the rehearsal beforehand. As someone with a Type A personality, I had no problem letting Natalie take the reins. Our wedding went perfectly and I have Natalie to thank for that! The DPE team are thorough and experienced, and I highly recommend them for wedding planning and coordination services!

    Natalie and her team were amazing "Month Of" Wedding Coordinators. Natalie was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding, offering advice from everything from table linens to how to optimize the wedding day timeline. The day of my wedding I did not have to worry about a thing - I knew Natalie had it covered. She was always super prompt replying to my e-mails. I had total trust in her abilities the whole way through, and would hire again in a heartbeat. The day of the wedding she dealt with any hiccups that occurred and I never knew about them. All of our vendors were all on the same page due to her communication with the team. She even put out a literal fire when a table number fell into a votive candle. Trust me, she's your girl.     We loved Natalie! First, the quality and quantity of her services were more than we could have ever imagined, and looking back, knowing what we know now, we would easily have expected to pay double for what she gave us. She was always responsive to our requests and readily available when we needed her. She did a fantastic job of helping us understand what we needed for our event and what other vendors were offering. On the day of our wedding she and her assistant were fantastic. On a day where we needed our backup plan because of weather, she had everything under control and was prepared for it all. Lastly, we always felt important to Natalie and not just a client/customer; we especially didn't feel like just another client/customer.

    Natalie Seng is amazing! Our small wedding combining Chinese and American cultures at the Stone Mansion in Alexandria was wonderful. She helped us select a fantastic caterer, photographer, and other vendors. Given the size of the wedding her price was more than reasonable and she helped to make sure we stayed on track with our to-do list. She is very pleasant to deal with and extremely detail-oriented. Nothing was left to chance. We ended up enjoying the day itself rather than worrying about how things were being managed. We give her our highest recommendation. Steve & Lucia

    Natalie and her team were just what we needed when we got down to the last few weeks before our wedding. She was extremely prepared and ready to help the second we met. Natalie was generous with her time and made me feel at ease when both my mom and I were stressing with such little time left before the big day. She provided so many helpful tools for us to use to assist in our wedding day planning and offered helpful and REALISTIC advice which was very much appreciated, and needed. I would 100% recommend Natalie and DPE to anyone who is looking for a day-of coordinator. They are so on-top of everything, they know the business and were such a joy to work with. I was sad that we only got to spend a few short weeks together. For anyone who is not considering a day-of coordinator or think that it is not worth the extra expense, my husband and I, and my parents can say that Natalie and her team were worth every penny. The last minute stress and weight on our shoulders was lifted tremendously the second Natalie and DPE stepped in to help. My wedding day went just as smooth as she had assured me it would and it was so nice to see her smiling face there to support me and my husband on the best day of our life!

    Natalie was amazing and the work she did helped us to feel so happy and relaxed on our wedding day. We had her for day of and month of services and even before that she was so helpful. Natalie was instrumental in helping us to locate some of our vendors. The day before our wedding it rained heavily the entire day. Natalie called us and coordinated with our florist and caterer to make a plan B. While we were lucky enough to be able to go with our plan a and have our ceremony outdoors, we didn't make the decision until right before and Natalie made it so that whatever we decided would be successful and beautiful. Natalie was a great listener and she really heard us when we told her our vision for the day. If I were to do everything again, there is no way I would it with without Natalie! She is the best and I could not recommend her more for anyone planning a wedding!

    My (now) wife and I won a pop-up wedding in Washington DC. Natalie from Designed Perfectly coordinated the event. We found out we won only 48 hours before the wedding! Obviously, we were totally excited but also frantic and clueless! From the first phone contact through the end of our ceremony, Natalie literally coordinated everything! Natalie actively sought our input and all of our (last minute) requests (e.g. purple bouquets, white cake w strawberry filling) were accomodated. My wife and I felt so special, respected and supported by Natalie and all of the wedding vendors. Natalie conveyed confidence, a sense of calm and she treated us like high end clients, even though her services were gifted to us. In short, Natalie and Designed Perfectly orchestrated the most amazing wedding for us and we are so happy and grateful!!

    Natalie from Designed Perfectly Events did an amazing job as the "month of" coordinator for our wedding, and honestly far exceeded my expectations. Even though I did not know anyone who had used her services, I decided to contact her after seeing photos of one of the weddings that she coordinated in Washingtonian magazine's "Bride and Groom" issue. Her services were very reasonably priced, and she also recommended a florist whose services were reasonably priced and who did great work.

    Natalie is very organized, as well as very personable and creative. She worked well with the manager at our reception venue and thought of a lot of details that I would have overlooked. During the wedding and reception, she kept everyone on schedule, managed all of the details to make sure everything flowed smoothly and even bustled my wedding dress! She was also kind to lend us a lovely box for wedding cards and a pedestal for the flowers on our reception table, all of which matched the European decor of our venue. The wedding ceremony and the dinner reception were absolutely perfect, and I am sure that is due in no small part to Natalie. I am incredibly grateful that she was there to manage everything. After the wedding, both my Mom and brother mentioned what a great job Natalie did. Because of her, my family could enjoy the wedding festivities without worrying about any of the details. I highly recommend Natalie and Designed Perfectly Events.

    I don't think I could say enough positive things about Natalie! She jumped head first into our wedding planning about a month before the big day and I walked away from our first meeting feeling an immediate release of stress. She listened to our ideas, had suggestions on how to finesse them, and gave us confidence that she would have everything under control. Natalie spent the following weeks gathering up all the ideas we had created and piecing them together into one incredible event. The day of the wedding, Natalie took care of everything and our reception not only looked amazing but it ran smoothly and the guests loved every minute. Thanks to Natalie, my husband and I did not have to worry and were able to let loose and enjoy. I would highly recommend Natalie to anyone, for any event!

    Natalie is amazing! We hired her for month of coordination and she completely made me feel at ease. She handled all the vendors (I had MANY) and coordinated with everyone so we did not have to deal with any of the logistics so close before the wedding. On our wedding day she brought a team that set up everything flawlessly and handled any issues without us ever even knowing (I still don't know if there were any issues at all, everything seemed perfect to us). I was able to enjoy our day without any worries thanks to Natalie and her team. She is worth every penny :)

    Natalie is ah-mazing!!! She was a lifesaver the month before my wedding and day-of. I wish I would have enlisted her services sooner - I think it would have saved a lot of headaches/hassle with my other vendors, but she worked wonders with the vendors I had (many were awesome...just one major pain...). She and Melisa took care of everything. Honestly I do not know exactly everything she did, but I know I did not have to worry about anything except enjoying my wedding. Highly recommend engaging Natalie's services as early as you can - you won't regret it!!

    Natalie is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, reliable, creative wedding planner. Unlike other planners that my husband and I spoke to, Natalie was willing to make OUR wedding vision come to life versus telling us what we could or couldn't do. My husband and I wanted to make sure our wedding was unmistakably us - so naturally, we wanted to have a surprise 90's cover band come on after the expected DJ dance party. This added so much complexity to the planning process, but Natalie worked closely with all of our other vendors and pulled it off perfectly!! Literally no one outside of our vendor team had any idea and our guests still rave about how great the surprise was. Did I mention that my husband and I live in New York City and our wedding was in Arlington, VA? We could not have planned our wedding without Natalie who went above and beyond what we expected. You absolutely can't go wrong working with Natalie to design and execute your perfect event. She is truly an amazing planner and a wonderful person. I would recommend her to any and all!!

    I honestly do not know what I would have done without Natalie on our wedding day. She is truly amazing! I did not have to think or worry about a single thing on my wedding day because I knew she would take care of everything. Natalie is extremely organized and made sure that everything went according to plan. She provided creative ideas and layouts for our ceremony and reception. We had a lot of personal touches and decor that we wanted to include, and she executed them perfectly. Natalie was so easy to work with and was very responsive to my emails and questions. A number of my vendors were thrilled when I told them that Natalie was my wedding planner, as they had worked with her previously and she has an excellent reputation. I cannot say enough about how great she is to work with. She is absolutely the best!

    Like many brides, it wasn't long after I began the planning process that I realized I was way in over my head. Hiring Natalie from Designed Perfectly Events was hands down the best thing I could have ever done for my wedding. Natalie is one of the most organized individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was able to take my incomplete thoughts and ideas and turn them in to more than I ever dreamed they could be. I would contact her frequently to bounce ideas off of her, and no matter how crazy or unrealistic they seemed, she was always positive and excited to figure out how to make them happen.

    I had A LOT of personal items and touches, and was most worried that they would not be displayed or carried out the way that I had pictured. This was not the case AT ALL - Natalie worked incessantly to make sure that every item was executed perfectly. On top of that, on the day of the wedding I arrived to find many touches that Natalie had gone above and beyond to surprise me with. Her eye for design is absolutely impeccable!

    I’m still in total awe at how smooth they entire day went – flawless – a total fairytale – and I owe that without question to Natalie!

    My husband and I were gifted an amazing wedding gift- that gift being Natalie with Designed Perfectly Events, LLC. Natalie was our Day of Coordinator, but was WAY more then that. She helped with the various set up of things we brought in for the dinner and ceremony. She has amazing ideas, and is very helpful and not pushy. She works with your budget. She is already refreshingly calm and has a lovely presence about herself. She was never far on our wedding day to make sure we always had a drink in hand, and never had to worry about a thing. I would recommend this company in a heart beat!

    Natalie and Leslie with Designed Perfectly Events were amazing and they were above and beyond what we were looking for. Their professional expertise aided my wife, Angela, as well as myself throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. Their email responses were timely and helpful, they did a great job keeping in touch with our vendors, and they had their way of putting their unique touch on everything. During our rehearsal, wedding ceremony and reception, this team was on top of everything and our wedding day was the greatest day of our lives.     I can't fully explain how wonderful it was working with Natalie and Designed Perfectly Events for my September 2015 wedding. I could not have asked for a better experience and a more professional coordinator than Natalie. She is one of the most professional and reliable with which I had the pleasure of working when I was planning my wedding. Honestly, Natalie was a complete lifesaver. She was organized, responsible, responsive and was always two steps ahead of me in the thought process, which is exactly what I needed. Natalie made sure the entire day was everything my husband and I wanted it to be. She was always behind the scenes making sure everything leading up to the day and the day itself was running smoothly and on schedule. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and Natalie made everything happen. I can't speak highly enough of Natalie and Designed Perfectly Events and all the wonderful work they do.

    Hands down, the best wedding coordinator in the DC metropolitan area! Natalie is amazing!! She and I worked tirelessly on a vision and seeing it come to life on the day of my wedding was magical. I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I got about the wedding and all the beautiful touches—the owner of the venue said that out of 77, it was in her top 2 weddings! And, I was $6,000 BELOW budget! Natalie’s creativity is beyond measure and her ability to see the big picture as you pick out all the little details is unbelievable. Her patient and organized, yet diligent personality made for a perfect match. I am your typical DC business woman; too busy, too pushy and too quick. Natalie was always able to handle me with grace and on the day of the wedding, kept everything so perfect, that I remained calm throughout and was able to completely enjoy my day!
