Scott & Tara Mikolay are proud local business owners who truly care about their customers, are experts at their craft and go the extra mile to give back to the community that they serve. When looking for my engagement ring, my fiance went to Desires because they had the exact types of styles I was looking for. After the proposal, my fiance commented on how incredibly helpful the Mikolays were during the process and how knowledgeable they were. We recently went back to purchase our wedding bands and it was no different, they took our style preferences and led us to the perfect bands! The absolute best!
We got both of our wedding bands from Desires by Mikolay and could not be happier. The team created an insert ring for me (the bride) with two diamond bands that fit my engagement ring in between. The Desires team took my engagement ring and sized the rings to fit perfectly. The end product is exquisite. For the grooms band, they have a variety of types, finishes, and sizes to find the perfect ring for the groom.
Service is wonderful leaving no questions unanswered and ring production was extremely fast. Desires staff is happy to help build your perfect piece and is accommodating of all budget levels.

Great Experience
My aunt and uncle recommended Mikolay’s when I told them I was going to propose. I reached out and Erin immediately got in touch to help figure out the best ring. Erin spent a lot of time giving me options and advice. Once we landed the perfect ring and after my fiancé said yes, we decided to get our wedding bands there as well. Amazing service for engagement ring
I recently purchased an engagement and the experience was incredibly. The salesman (David I believe) was incredibly responsive over email and very available over the phone which made making the decision smooth and easy once I went into the store to finalize the stone and band. They spent months with my husband fixing up a family heirloom engagement ring that was just perfect. They helped my husband and I find out perfect bands to go with it. We purchased both our groomsmen gifts and our wedding bands at Desires by Mikolay and I can't wait to buy more from them!
The staff at Desires was amazing. We purchased cufflinks for all of the groomsmen with their favorite sports teams on them. Judi helped us pick out the cufflinks, ordered them for us and did a beautiful job wrapping them. They were a huge hit!!
I was a little indecisive when it came to what type of wedding band I wanted. The staff at Desires ordered one that I saw online so I could try it on. When I didn't love that one, they sat with me on numerous occasions to help me pick the perfect wedding band. Judi and Tara were extremely patient with me and I really appreciated the fact that they just wanted me to be happy.

I also felt supported and not pushed to buy anything that I did not want.. they are committed to helping you find the piece that you want. Nice selection for men and women, traditional and contemporary. I had already had my bridesmaids gifts, but they have fashionable, tasteful jewelry. The store is pretty as well!
