  Selome & Desta Events are amazing!

  If you're wondering whether to hire Desta Events, do it. You won't regret it! Selome is so nice, responsive, professional, and adapts to changes phenomenally. We just got married in an unexpected heat wave which slowed our schedule down, caused original photo locations to not be possible anymore, and contributed to getting family photos way slower (that's on top of our own families taking a long time to just look at the camera all together). There were unexpected issues that came up and Selome kept her cool and kept things moving. She knew how important a receiving line was to me and made it happen even though we had started the ceremony late. One guest texted me after to say how much they had fun and that the wedding was "seamless" and really that was thanks to Selome and Desta Events! I'm so thankful to have her as our Day of Coordinator.

  So thankful Desta can be part of my big day!

  I am so happy Desta was part of my big day. They were quick to respond to my messages, extremely helpful during vendor research and over all easy to work with. They set realistic expectation and delivered all they promised. They made my venue look exactly as we discussed. They came with me for my final venue walkthrough and helped with some DIY projects the day before. Selome was there every time I needed her help, support and advice. They came up with detailed day of schedule and contact everyone involved, helping me not stress about anything on my wedding day.

  Couldn’t have done it without them

  I literally couldn’t have done it without them. Hosting a wedding for 750 seemed impossible but with amazing coordination from Desta events, our wedding went better then expected. They are very detail oriented, readily available via phone or in person, and extremely professional. Kelly helped coordinate meetings with family and wedding party, created a minute by minute schedule for the day of the wedding, and corresponded with all my vendors to make sure we were all on the same page. She was an amazing protocol, firm, but also very kind. Because of their many experiences, they were able to help guide me in my decision making as well as remind me of small details I might have forgotten. Forever grateful.

  Efficient and attentive!

  The team began working with us about a month before the wedding and really helped bring everything all together to ensure our big day was organized. My husband and I did not have to worry about any logistics on our day and that was such a relief. We had some rain before our ceremony and Selome helped alleviate the stress by having a backup plan and moving some of the schedule of events accordingly. The sun was out the rest of the day and our families had the most wonderful time for the rest of the night thanks to Desta Events!!
