  I cannot recommend Katrina/Addison Skye Photography enough. We fell in love with the Asheville area on a previous visit and decided to get married there. Not living locally and not being familiar with the area would've been challenging to try to plan a wedding, but Katrina was more than helpful with suggesting the best locations and timing for our ceremony. We even had to do a location change about 1 month prior to our wedding due to storm damage, and Katrina was able to suggest a location that was equally as beautiful as our original pick. During our photo session, she suggested other "secret spots" that she knew would give us the photos we were dreaming of.
  
  I really cannot say enough good things about Katrina! Our photos are gorgeous and she was amazing to work with! She was a huge part in the success of our big day :)

  The Perfect Intimate & Romantic Elopement

  We had a beautiful ceremony with family thanks to Katrina and all her partners!!! With an adventure elopement on the Blue Ridge Mountains, things do not always go according to plan, but Katrina and our photographer from Ashley Steffans photography were flexible and made sure everything worked out! We stopped at an overlook on the parkway for our ceremony and then drove up as far as we could with weather conditions for more photos. We then went back to our Airbnb for cake and more photos. The whole experience was designed just for us, which made it so special.

  Great experience

  My husband and I got married on 2/22/22, and Katrina was fantastic! She was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning. She helped us pick the perfect location, helped us pick a ceremony, arranged for and brought my bouquet and husbands boutonnière. Destination Elopements Asheville also provided an amazing officiant! During and following the wedding, Katrina took so many beautiful photos that perfectly captured this day for us.

  Heartfelt Officiant

  Katrina was amazing to work with. Friendly, kind and helpful, she found our vineyard, worked out a great price, recommended an expert photographer, and really made our wedding special. We are so grateful we found her. We would totally choose her again and may just do so when renewing our vows.

  Wonderful Officiant

  Katrina was a wonderful officiant! She is a sweet lady who truly connects with her couples and we didn't even meet her until about 30 minutes before the wedding. She is quick to respond to emails and talk to you on the phone to touch base. We booked her in January and she helped us find a location to get married and a spot for a small reception. Many of her guests commented on how heartfelt her ceremony was and that they weren't bored by it like they find themselves at other weddings. Our photographer even thanked her because she makes sure that she steps to the side before she tells the couple to kiss! That way she isn't in the back of all of your photos! I am so happy that I came across Destination Elopements and decided to book her!

  It was a perfect day thanks to Katrina!

  From our very first communication, we knew Katrina was the one! She is a wealth of knowledge in all things wedding and has a way of asking the right questions in order to visualize and plan our dream wedding!
  We had 9 months to plan our destination wedding. We live in Raleigh but wanted to get married somewhere in Asheville, with waterfront/scenic landscape. It was to be an intimate family gathering with our children and aging parents. Some of the spots we liked along the Parkway would have been too difficult for our parents to walk/hike to, or just not feasible given the number of guests. After talking to Katrina multiple times, we decided on Olivette RoseBay Park. It was perfect!
  One of the many things we love about Katrina is the relationships she has with so many vendors. We didn't want to spend a fortune for our wedding and were looking to cut costs anywhere we could. It was clear in our first conversation that Katrina had our best interests in mind and could match us with the right vendors. She made the wedding planning so incredibly easy - taking all the stress out of the process. One thing at a time, she presented the next vendor decision (9 months out = photographer, 8 months out = flowers, cake; 6 months out = hair, makeup), taking away that overwhelming feeling of "OMG where do I even begin looking?". Her lists of vendors is top notch and we did our homework researching all of them. You can't go wrong with any of the vendors Katrina works with, and because of her quality professional relationships, we saved a ton of money!
  Her experience in performing weddings in Asheville makes her the go-to officiant in town! There's no task too big or small. In fact, we opted not to rent (10) chairs from the venue to save money, and instead buy them from Amazon. Our only dilemma was how to get them from our house in Raleigh to Asheville. Katrina again saved the day! She offered for us to have them shipped from Amazon to her house - and she delivered them to the ceremony on our wedding day! She also picked up our cake and flowers as well! We communicated with her numerous times throughout our 9 month engagement. She is easy to reach via text, email or phone and responds so quickly. We had so many chats with her that once we finally met her face-to-face on the day of our wedding, we felt like we had known her forever! She has that caring, warm personality backed with the confidence and knowledge of the best of the best. You can’t go wrong!
  Katrina functioned as our "day of wedding coordinator" and officiant. This was beyond helpful in the days leading up to our July 2 wedding. Weather in the area had been rainy and stormy, and it looked like a high chance of some amount of rain for the ceremony. Katrina had it all under control and was in contact with all of the vendors to make sure everyone knew where to be in the event of Plan A, B or C! Unfortunately the only thing none of us could control was the Phil. Airport where the groom’s parent’s got stuck and at last minute were unable to get to our wedding.   I couldn't of asked for a more unique wedding adventure!

  Katrina was on the ball at the beginning of the wedding planning! She called me at least once a week to help us with the planning and helped suggest places to stay and eat as we were coming from Florida. As we got closer to the big day some things were miscommunicated (which is bound to happen when communicating via phone and emails) But everything was resolved quickly!
  Our wedding day was beautiful even with a slight change in scenery and I couldn't of asked for a more unique wedding adventure!

  Katrina was on the ball at the beginning of the wedding planning!
