  Bridal Hair and Makeup

  Destiny is amazing! I chose Destiny based on her gallery and her more natural style. I wear very minimal makeup on a daily basis and wanted to feel beautiful but still comfortable and like myself. Destiny struck that balance perfectly! She provided excellent suggestions and also listened to what I wanted and my feedback. My hair and makeup both held up perfectly all night! She also did hair and makeup on my bridesmaids and my MIL and everyone looked gorgeous. Additionally, Destiny is easy and personable to work with and made me feel comfortable.

  Creative stylist who is willing to listen and guide you to look your best

  I had Destiny do my hair and make up trial, day of, and 3 others hair and make-up. Everybody loved her work and looked beautiful, but everyone had a different style unique to them. Glad I did the trial (initially was unsure), but was able to try out a style that I didn’t love later in the day and we pivoted to exactly what I wanted on the day of. Loved Destiny’s creativity, style, and attitude. So glad we were able to nab her for our big day!

  I booked Destiny because I loved the look of her work- beautiful but still natural and very glowy. She nailed it. I still felt like myself on my wedding day (I was trying to avoid a face full of makeup that make me look fake) and she executed my look flawlessly. She understood my vision and made recommendations that made me feel beautiful. She is professional but also very personable so I felt incredibly comfortable. My makeup and hair also lasted all night despite dancing (and sweating!. Highly recommend working with Destiny!

  So in love with her work!

  Excellent experience! Destiny knew exactly the look I was aiming for and that’s what I got. Effortless, cool, flawless. She was easy to communicate with throughout the wedding planning and very responsive. She was prompt and professional, but most importantly she is a highly skilled makeup artist. My sisters and mom loved their hair and makeup and it lasted the whole night!

  Beyond Perfect

  She was amazing! She knew what trends were in but also took my opinion into consideration. The make up didn’t make me feel like I had a thick layer covering my face. She did a perfect job! I will definitely be using her as a make up artist again!

  Yes yes yes to Destiny!

  We all LOVED her work. She went above and beyond for the bride, bridesmaids, & mother of the groom for both hair and makeup. She was so nice, professional, worked quickly, but did a GREAT job! She literally made the day perfect. The bride was thrilled. Would 1000% use her again, and by far the most affordable artist I found in Utah!

  Destiny is a dream to work with!

  I am so beyond thankful that my wedding coordinator referred me to Destiny. From the beginning, she was so responsive, easy going (which is HARD to find in an artist, at least the ones I had been corresponding with) and dedicated to the overall vision I had for my bridal look. The day we had my makeup/hair trial I was brought to tears when she handed me the mirror. I have gotten SO many compliments on my hair and makeup, and more importantly I felt like the most stunning bride, which was priceless. I want to get married all over again just to look like that for one more night. You will absolutely love working with Destiny and her team!

  I want to give Destiny a HUGE thank you!!! She did such an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding!!! She is so sweet and made me feel so comfortable!! I had brought a bottle of champagne with me and Destiny, knowing that I was tying the knot at Edgefield later that day, even pulled out two Edgefield champagne flutes she had!!! I thought it was very thoughtful of her and added something extra special to the morning! Destiny did such a fantastic job on my makeup, it was exactly what I was hoping for!! She created exactly what I asked for, which was more of a natural look. I was soooo happy with the work that Destiny did!!! She was so professional with me and flexible with my schedule. Leading up to the wedding she was checking in with me, asking me to send her pics for inspiration, and coordinating a time to meet that worked for me. I really appreciate everything Destiny did for me. She made me feel so special and beautiful on my wedding day and I could not be more grateful!!! I will definitely book Destiny again and I encourage others to book her!! You will be happy you did!!!

  Destiny is such a pleasure to work with! I am a local Portland Wedding Photographer and every time my bride books Destiny I get so excited! Without fail her makeup and hair is always flawless. The way she does makeup elevates my photos as a photographer. Oh, and that vintage yet modern hair she does! OMG!!! It’s my favorite hair ever! Destiny is so skilled at making women look like themselves while enhancing their true natural beauty. Her style is so refined, modern and classic. She just gets it. My photography style isn't your typical cookie cutter and neither are my clients. So, when I get to work with other likeminded vendors like Destiny it’s such a treat to have my bride stand in-front of my lens feeling beautiful and like themselves. They glow! and happiness just radiates from them because they look and feel their very best on one of the most special and important days of their lives. I would 100 percent recommend Destiny not only as a woman who wants to look like a classic, glowing version of myself on my wedding day but as a photographer that photographs weddings. Artists like Destiny make my job so easy! I could go on and on about her skills and creative vision but you truly have to experience it for yourself!

I'm biracial and was worried about past bad experiences with other makeup artists because of my complexion. Destiny reassured me and then proved that I didn't have a thing to worry about. My hair and makeup for my engagement shoot was beyond my expectations. I felt drop dead gorgeous and timeless. I knew I had to book her for my wedding day. My husband and I got married on a rainy Portland evening at the courthouse. Destiny worked well under our tight schedule and somehow made me feel ever more beautiful than she had the first time. My makeup was flawless and hair classic. I wish I could upload the photos done by Christine Shields Photography to show how Destiny not only made me radiant, gave me something to show my grandkids one day to prove how beautiful I once was. I couldn't thank her enough!
