  Kristin is amazing!

  I went to quite a few places looking for a dress. I knew many people who purchased the first dress they tried on. I assumed it would go the same way for me, but it did not, and I felt discouraged. I went to a store prior to DBH and tried on a dress that I kind of liked but did not love. The employee said, “You have already been to too many places and I don’t think you’re going to find what you’re looking for.” I left there upset. On a whim, I decided to call Detroit Bridal House and see if I could get a last-minute appointment to come on. Kristin was so sweet, and I was able to go right away. I knew from the moment that I talked to her on the phone and pulled up in the driveway, that this would be the place I found my dress. The calming and welcoming environment that Kristin brings brought the excitement back for me. Her simple questions such as “how do you want to feel on your wedding day?” told her what she needed to know to choose some dresses. It was there, that the first dress I tried on, I loved. I ordered appliques from the dress company for alterations and when shipping was taking a long time Kristin went out of her way to ensure that I received them in time. I recommend DBH to everyone that is looking for a dress. You will receive assistance from someone who is genuine and caring

  I LOVED LOVED LOVED my experience with Kristen at Detroit Bridal House. I had done some general shopping and looking around but every experience was a disaster. I'm not your typical "I want to be a princess" kind of bride. I want to be comfortable and feel like me...which is exactly what Kristen did. My maid of honor and I got there first thing in the morning to see Kristen outside waiting to greet us. Right off the bat she wanted to know me and what brought me there and by the time I was ready to put a dress on, I knew I would be leaving with one. I loved the vibe and tone of the shop, it was right up my alley. I could've sat on that couch sipping champagne and giggling away all day.
  
  If you want a comfortable, painless, enjoyable, wonderful experience dress shopping, this is the place to go.

  Detroit Bridal House was absolutely amazing. Kristin went out of her way to make the experience special. She's created a very cozy atmosphere and made me feel so comfortable. She has a great selection of gowns and picked dresses that I never would have thought to try, and those "wild cards" ended up being my favorites. I would highly, highly recommend Detroit Bridal House. I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience I had.

  My mom and my sister joined me for a visit to Detroit Bridal House back in November. We really enjoyed our time working with Kristin, and I was impressed with her selection. I first found out about DBH through the Stella York website; I knew I liked that designer, so I searched for locations near my mom that carried those dresses. DBH had many lovely Stella York dresses, as well as several other gorgeous designers.
  
  Kristin's kindness and professionalism is evident. She made my mom and sister feel right at home, and was helpful in thinking through fits, styles, and colors. I would recommend a trip to Detroit Bridal House for anyone looking for a low stress, personal wedding dress shopping experience!

  Kristin is the most kind-hearted human. Her dresses are bomb and she made the whole experience a perfect balance of exciting and peaceful. I can't wait to see what's in store for her boutique!!! It can only get more amazing.

  I had been looking for the last few months for a dress and had thought I had found one and truth be told, I was settling, and think I kind of knew it too, but was just over it at that point. I was all set to purchase it the following week but a friend of mine insisted that I visit DBH. On a whim I contacted them to see if they were available the following day, and they squeezed me in, all while making me feel like I was a priority and not an inconvenience. Myself, along with my mom and step dad showed up, and were a bit apprehensive walking up, as the temporary location is a beautiful home in a historic neighborhood, but a house nonetheless. We were greeted by Kristin and instantly felt at ease. Kristin makes you feel welcome, special and comfortable. The selection while a bit small, was absolutely breathtaking and filled with unique and beautiful pieces and sure enough, housed THE dress! I am not one to make rash decisions, so I needed to think it over for a few days, and contacted Kristin within the week. She was as quick to respond, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
  
  I am so glad that I visited Detroit Bridal House and can't wait for my dress to come in!

  Kristin made me and my crew feel so special from the moment we walked in! I was looking for a unique experience, not just thrown into a huge store where I would feel overwhelmed. Kristin gave me personalized suggestions, and also let my family pick and choose dresses they wanted to see me try on. Kristin was extremely professional and I loved the dresses I tried on! Would highly recommend DBH to any bride looking for a unique and special dress shopping experience!

I actually discovered DBH online because they were one of the few bridal shops in Michigan to carry the specific dress I was looking for. At the time DBH didnt have their store yet, so Stella came to my house and brought several dresses for me to try on. She was an absolute delight and everyone in my family fell in love with her. When it was time to pick up my dress I brought along friends and DBH had a beautiful spread of drinks and finger foods waiting for us. Again, Stella is amazing and her joyful personality is infectious. Everyone I brought with me walked away bragging about DBH. My friend who flew in from Florida told me she is flying back into Michigan so she can get her dress from DBH. Every bride wants to feel special, and thats exactly how I felt from start to finish.
