  Devon, at first Steph and I were skeptical when you said you were a 1-man operation. You stayed in communication with other us and invited us to provide our own ideas and thoughts. You made us feel free to add our own touch to every pose and you didn’t just take pictures…..you told our story!!

  The BEST photographer you’ll ever have

  When my now HUSBAND (ahh!) and I first met Devin to discuss pricing and details a little over one year ago, we were not expecting that he would also end up becoming one of our greatest friends. Not only was his portfolio immaculate, it ranged from all kinds of aspects in photography and you can truly see the hard work and effort that he puts into this art. We felt very special when Devin informed us that we were his first clients to hire him through WeddingWire since recently creating his account! From our engagement photos, to Christmas photos, to now wedding photos, Devin has captured some of the best memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. He has always made it his goal to ensure that we feel comfortable as well as knowing when to direct us when we did not know what to do in front of the camera.   Devin was AMAZING!!! I can't tell you how thrilled we were when we saw our wedding photos. From the first call to set up an appointment, he professionalism really shined through. We were a fan of his portfolio and now we can add to his! I would hire him without a doubt.

Went above and beyond was very friendly and dependable definitely took a-lot of stress of my shoulders as he knew exactly what needed to be done. I also appreciated the fact he was focused and determined to take the best photos and videos possible. My family and friend loves him as he was very kind and friendly.   He is amazing at directing you on how to take photos. I'm very camera shy and he was able to get amazing photos from me because he knows how to get the perfect angles. It was a fun time as well.

  Wow is all I have to say.. let me start by saying all of the photos are beautiful, but there are several that truly moved me to tears! I could not be more over the moon. I was worried that I would look ridiculous given the endless flow of tears, but they actually turned out BETTER than I could have asked for. If there is one thing I can recommend for your wedding, it’s hire a great photographer- and let me tell you Devin Gates IS certainly one of the best!! I’m so glad I get to relive my wedding and all of the touching moments through photographs for the rest of my life. I have already shared his information with one of my best friends who is getting married next spring. Beautiful, beautiful beautiful is all I can say. :)
