Devina from Devine Floral Design was an absolute dream to work with. We booked with her more than a year out from our wedding, and she had no problems answering questions/brainstorming ideas with us even many months out. She's so incredibly sweet and so easy to work with!
On the day of our wedding, my wife and I's jaw dropped to the floor when we saw how our venue was decorated. We got married at The Woodshed Venue in Vista, and she really helped enhance the beauty of our venue. We cannot recommend Devina enough for all the hard work she put into our special day! -

Incredible, amazing!
I was an out of state bride virtually working with Devina from Devine Floral Designs. She was incredibly flexible and kind with meeting over the phone, video chats etc.. She had amazing ideas to add my vision and even take a couple risks with the floating arch! Everything came out GREATER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER HOPED FOR! The flowers were beautiful, match the colors of the wedding pallet perfectly, they were amazing quality. Devina also went above and beyond to offer her help in other areas of the wedding as well. I hired her as a vendor and really walked away with a friend! So thankful for her! 10/10! -

We went with Devine Floral Designs on a whim, because I didn't realize until 4 months before our wedding that I was not going to be one of those creative brides who did all their own florals to save a buck...WOW! We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by Devina's work. Of all the vendors we hired, Devine Floral Designs was the one vendor that went far above and beyond my expectations - I do not say this lightly.
She worked with our budget, was always responsive, professional, and reliable. She worked with me and my ideas to bring my vision to life, and THEN she enhanced it! She stayed for the entire event to make sure all arrangements were moved and assembled beautifully and appropriately, and even allowed us to repurpose florals from the ceremony for the reception - which we were so grateful because it saved us a lot of money. I loved her work so much that I would go through the stress of planning a whole 2nd wedding just so I could re-hire her. ;)
If you're on the fence about this vendor, get off of it and hire her now!

Working with Devina at Devine Floral Design was a dream! She captured our vision so beautifully and brought it to life! Our wedding day felt enchanted, whimsical and magical✨ Every floral detail and arrangement was stunning and wonderfully placed. She was even able to adapt to moving our outdoor wedding inside due to the rain and still making it feel full of nature and wonder 🤩 I definitely recommend working with her for your special event. Beyond Amazing!
Devina worked tirelessly to bring my floral visions to reality. She created a stunning arch that both incorporate Indian and Mexican Culture. Her ability to communicate, design and execute my vision was perfect. She walked me through the entire process and works great with all Vendors and planners! She is very professional at all times (even in stressful situations) and provides the best experience! I would recommend (and have) to my friends for all event types. She’s someone that you want on your big day! -

I have to start out by stating the obvious and saying that Devina is all around AMAZING. She’s truly just a beautiful soul and goes above and beyond to make sure she understands and captures your vision. I fell in love with a bouquet I found on the internet and used it as my inspo picture because it fit my color scheme so perfectly (think mauve, blush, and purple).. little did I know it was made of faux flowers and I felt so defeated thinking it would be impossible to replicate those colors in real life. Fast forward to the night before my wedding and Devina sends me a sneak peak of one of the arrangements she’d put together and to say I was speechless is an understatement - she had absolutely nailed it!! I didn’t even know flowers existed in that color, but Devina found them and made sure they were part of my day. And as if that wasn’t enough to prove my point, she was so conscious about sticking to our budget and had so many suggestions for repurposing flowers from the ceremony for the reception which I’m sure every bride can appreciate. If you’re on the fence about who to hire for your wedding, Devina is definitely your girl and I seriously cannot recommend her enough. -

Best San Diego Wedding Florist
Devina was absolutely amazing! I sent her some inspo pictures and she went above and beyond my expectations! I received so many compliments from guests about not only the bouquets, but the arch, centerpieces, boutonniere‘s, aisle and sweet heart table.
Each piece had so much intention and detail! Not to mention, she was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped make me feel so confident and beautiful on my special day! I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed!! -

DO NOT HIRE DEVINA. I hate to have to write a negative review but the truth needs to be told and I wouldn't want anyone to waste their money and risk their event by hiring Devina to do their florals. I will share pictures of our texts and emails to show that all of the following statements are true. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed, upset, and unsatisfied I am with Devina's floral services for our wedding at Los Willows in Fallbrook, California on 10/12/2023. Our venue asked for her information to make sure she is never used at their venue and they said they would happily review their experience with her too. Our cake decorator was shocked at our experience with Devina. Multiple employees of the venue and guests witnessed her CUT FLOWERS FROM THE VENUE'S GARDEN to fill in the white roses she failed to deliver. I was mortified to hear this! My husband and I worked very hard to save for more than two years, spending over $42,000 for our dream wedding, and the ONLY thing I deeply regret is trusting Devina to do our florals. I wish we had pulled the arrangements all together and just kept the candles (the other decor for our aisle and centerpieces). That’s how much I hated the arrangements and felt they were an eyesore! I told my coordinator that I wanted to get rid of the arrangements and she said she would try to fix them. So instead of her focusing on staying on our timeline and making sure other details were done properly, she was rearranging our florals! Devina was late on our wedding day because she claimed her ladder had "crashed and burned" (her words - see texts), yet she arrived with a used ladder properly strapped down. I spent months planning the details, sending her images of the floral placement, design, inspirations photos, and measurements all with extremely detailed notes. I have plenty of text proof between us that she understood my vision and even her restating how important the arrangements being voluminous was important to me. Our very first phone call we discussed that I did not like any muted greenery, such as eucalyptus. She told me about dark Italian Ruscus, which is what we decided on and I loved. I told her I wanted to keep the greenery light so as to keep more volume focused on the babies breath and white roses (she agreed it would be beautiful and she understood - see texts). I was shocked when I saw that the ONLY greenery she brought on our wedding day was Eucalyptus! The ceremony arch arrangement was not voluminous and it didn’t match the size, density, or length of the picture I sent her multiple times to show exactly what I expected. The bridesmaids bouquets of babies breath were tiny, about half of the size of the image I showed her and expected. My bridesmaids commented on how the picture I sent Devina of the babies breath bouquets I expected and what they got were like the memes “what you ordered versus what you got." Embarrassing but unfortunately the comment was very accurate. My then fiancé told me when Devina cancelled our floral mock up meeting 10 minutes before we were about to leave the house to meet her that it was unprofessional and was not a good sign (see texts). I wish I had paid attention to that major red flag. From Devina showing up late on our wedding day and causing our timeline to be pushed back keeping us from capturing so many photos we very much wanted such as the bridesmaids first look with me and the groomsmens first look with him (both didn’t have flowers/boutonnieres yet because we were waiting on Devina to give the cake decorator flowers), to keeping us from being present for out first look as a couple because we were shocked at the arrangements and focused on what we could do to change them, to never getting photos of just me and my husband under the ceremony arch because Devina was scrambling to fix the arrangements up until ceremony time), to her taking down the arch arrangement right after the ceremony (even after being told to leave it up for long enough to get pictures) when she had one hour to transfer it which kept our photographer from getting immediate family photos as we had rehearsed at our ceremony site (which was with elderly family that traveled all over the world to be there). I feel robbed of being able to be present during the most pivotal moment of my life! Devina was hired in April of 2023 because of pictures of the work she posted online, and that was plenty of time for her to plan and execute our vision. I feel very sad thinking of what she produced for us and the moments that weren't captured because of her failure to deliver what was discussed. The arch arrangement (to be repurposed for the sweetheart table) and centerpiece arrangements (to be placed in vases and used as both aisle decor and table centerpieces) were supposed to be the statement pieces of the pavilion (our reception room) and I truly wish we had removed them all together so they wouldn't have been captured in our photos and videos. I would give negative stars if I could! This isn't about the money. I would pay three times what we did to prevent this experience. We chose Devine_Floral Designs for what we thought was her talent, and because we wanted to support small, local, women owned businesses for our vendors (we did this for our cake decorator and content creator, both which were incredible), but we wish we had gone to a reputable florist with more reviews and years of experience. Do not trust Devina to do your florals for an important event.Devine_Floral Designs's reply:
This may have been one of my worst experiences as a florist. I hate to have someone so disappointed. I was late on my designated time because my ladder broke and I had to borrow from a friend however I was there 3 hours prior to ceremony which gave me enough time to set up with time to spare. Upon waiting for someone to bring me fresh flowers to make changes the coordinator for the day began breaking the original pieces to fix what she thought would make a better change. I am disappointed in myself as I did misinterpret some of the text messages and photos. I did not cut roses to fill what was missing but I did ask if I might cut some of the dead roses so that I may use the petals for the flower girl and the venue staff member agreed as petals for the flower girl were never discussed. I may have fell short this day in many ways and I take accountability for this. What I do find inappropriate is that instead allowing me a moment to fix the situation I was told by the coordinator not to bother. I apologize truly and deeply for the failure on my behalf but I am also willing to provide photos and texts if there are any further questions or concerns. -

We hired Davina to do our wedding flowers. Our event date was 9/29/23. We had many issues with the flowers. We did not receive many of the arrangements we had contracted for and the flowers we did receive were not what we expected. The bridal bouquet flowers were old, wilted, and loose. I had to keep sticking flowers back in the bouquet as they were constantly falling out. We did not get any flowers on the 4 fireplace garlands we had contracted for. We did not receive the arrangement for the welcome sign. We did not receive any of our arrangements for the cocktail tables. The arch and centerpieces were bare and did not look like any of the inspiration pictures we had sent her and had previously discussed and agreed upon. Davina was supposed to stay until the end of the event but left before the reception started. She told us she would give us a partial
refund but she has not. It is very unfortunate and sad. Attached are the inspiration photos and what we agreed upon and the last 3 photos are what we received.Devine_Floral Designs's reply:
I always do my best to produce the most quality product. I do realize everyone has differing opinions and in this case there were a few things that were missed due to venue restrictions. I am unable to post my own photos, however I am happy to provide for anyone questioning my work ethic or technique and style. I would also like to note that a refund was issued. -
