  I had my ceremony and reception at Wicker Memorial Park. I can not say enough good things about this venue, I mostly worked with Jennifer and she was very responsive to all the emails and questions I had for her. She explained everything to us and made sure everything was flowing smoothly. Our day of coordinator Cynthia was great too, she made sure that everyone was happy from the bridal party to the guest. Our guest enjoyed themselves and are still talking about how nice this venue was, and the price is absolutely UNBEATABLE. We looked at a few venues in Indiana but Wicker Park was the best pick for us,

  I had my wedding at Dining solutions last Sunday 8/13/17 and I loved the venue . The weather was perfect for our outdoor wedding under the gazebo with the water and pond behind it. We got many compliments on the venue and the food . Cynthia was on point with assisting my bridal party in whatever was needed . I would highly recommend having your wedding or next event .The venue was clean as well as the bathroom and there is ample parking for all your guest for free.

  Everyone says planning a wedding is so stressful, and that is true it is but planning with this venue made it a little bit easier. I worked mostly with Bridget but also worked with Jennifer as well, and those two are phenomenal! I had had so many questions and so many emails were exchanged but they answered promptly and returned all of my phone calls. They were always clear and direct with what needed to be done next and I really appreciated that I didn't have to guess. The day of the wedding both ladies were there early in to answer any last minute questions and help us with things we needed. After that our wedding
  Manager they provided to us took the wheel, and man was she great! The entire day she was on top of it! Asking what we needed letting us know where we were in the timeline, and calming my nerves when I was waiting to come out before my walk down the aisle. The waiting staff was professional and efficient as well. I had so many compliments about the staff!!! From start to finish, just an amazing experience. I feel like I got lucky to have chosen such a wonderful place!

  I had my wedding here in May. Bridget and Sandra made everything so easy for me. They truly took everything off of my shoulders. When I showed up for the wedding, everything was perfect, I did not change one thing. I highly recommend the venue, as well as the wonderful planners. Everything was amazing. We had so many compliments, and also on the food!

  After searching for almost 6 months for a venue, we found Wicker Memorial Park. The staff that we worked with were extremely friendly. They were very helpful and looking to help us have an affordable wedding rather than just trying to get us to get everything under the sun. They were very responsive to all our calls and accommodated all of our requests. We went to many tastings and liked all the food we tasted. However, the food tasted even better at the actual reception which was fantastic. They made the place look beautiful and truly helped us make this an awesome wedding. Numerous people told us that "this was the best wedding I have ever been to", and all the help from Dining Solutions was a very big part of that.

  We used Wicker Park for our wedding and we are so happy we did! I dealt with Sandra and she made everything so easy for me and everyone was so nice and willing to help all the way to the end of the night! Everything turned out perfect for our big day and the food was delicious!! I would defiantly recommend Wicker Park/Dining Solutions to anyone!!

  ABSOLUTELY happy we chose wicker park as our wedding venue. Since day one of going to see the hall everyone was absolutely friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Bridget was so helpful with everything and made the organizing so easy for the day of the wedding. Guests complimented on how beautiful the place was and it made our day much more special. The manager that was in charge that day was very attentive and did an awesome job as well. Highly recommend this place and i look forward to celebrating other future events here

  Bridget was great to work with. She answered every question I had. I was a distance bride and she was great to work with via email. When we came to finalize everything, she was exceptional at putting our minds to ease that everything was taken care of.
  
  On the day of the wedding, everything was set and ready to go appropriately.
  
  The food we choose was good, and the fact we had many opportunities to taste the food helped greatly in picking our menu. During the tastings we were disappointed in the beef, which we might have chosen had we not tasted it. There were plenty of other delicious options that we had no issue. Wedding guests complimented the food, which we had family style.
  
  The room itself was impeccable as were the bathrooms (which we could not say for other venues in the area), plus the view to the pond behind was great while it was still light out. It was chilly that day, but had it been warmer, they would have opened the porch area for the evening.

  We had both our wedding and wedding shower at Wicker Memorial Park. Our wedding shower was brunch at the clubhouse and then our wedding cermony and reception were held at the banquet hall. We were engaged for two years and looked at countless venues in NW Indiana and the surrounding Chicagoland area. We chose Wicker Memorial Park & The Dining Solution team for the venue asthetic, quality, service and price.
  
  Bridget was an absolute joy to work with. She has great energy and passion for each event she plans.She was patient with myself and my family members, pulling multiple table linen set up's so I could physically see how they would look day of. Furthermore, I knew I wanted a King's Head Table and a mixture of round and rectangle table for the reception, which I was told had yet to be done at Wicker Park. Bridget worked with me to ensure the space would accomodate my layout and that everything would work out OK.
  
  Food - was amazing. I highly reccomend the meatballs for appetizers, they were the most complimented item of the night from our guests. Our menu consisted of the sliced filet, italian sausage over penne pasta, and greek style chicken with fresh herbs & lemon. Everything was delicious.
  
  Another noteworthy item on the staff, food and service - I had a guest with severe milk and egg food allergies that they were able to accomodate. Anyone with allergies is sure to appreciate this type of service.

The brick walls, the lights around the windows, the fireplace when you first walk in, and neutral carpet (not of that hideous pink or teal carpet at most places!) Wicker Park also offered an amazing value for "off season" weddings. Our winter wedding was able to happen, because of the cost efficient options that Dining Solutions offered.
  
  We were able to drop off the 2 cars full of decorations earlier in the week. Bridget and Sandra both took the time to listen and map out where I wanted everything to be and they set up most of what I needed to be done! They were very flexible and willing to help make the day perfect.

  We used Wicker Park for both our ceremony and reception and are extremely happy that we did! The venue, food, price and especially the staff were amazing!! Sandra was a pleasure to work with :) I would totally recommend them for any banquet hall needs. Our guests and I had such a wonderful time we didn't want to leave.

I didn't have to worry about anything with the hall the day of my wedding. We got married on June 19, 2009. I think that day had to be the hottest day of the year. We just had a horriable storm that morning so it was extremely humid. Well, we got married outside at the beautiful gazebo. When the ceremony was done we all went inside to cool off to find out that the air wasn't working. UUUGGGHH!! It did eventually get fixed. It was nothing really anyone could of prevented.   Beautiful Wedding

  We had our wedding a few weeks back and had a wonderful time. Overall, Wicker Park was a beautiful venue to have our wedding and are still getting compliments to this day. The only concern we had was about the staff. We ran into issues of the bar not opening on time and no clear direction of the management or day of coordinator. The chairs around the gazebo were not arranged before the ceremony and had to have the wedding party place them in the correct positions 30 mins before. Several times, a member of the wedding party had to walk into the kitchen to ask about an extra side table or to find out if we could have someone help light the unlit centerpiece candles minutes before the wedding. We had to confirm with the venue several times that we were getting what we paid for from months in advance decisions (ceiling arrangement, no chair covers etc). Besides these annoyances of not being prepared and having to follow up with the staff, the food was excellent. We are still getting compliments on the food choices and quality. We would reccomend them because of the beautiful venue, the food and the overall pricing. Just make sure to follow up on the details of specifics, to make sure your wedding goes smoothly.

  UPDATE: We had our ceremony and reception at Wicker Memorial Park on February 11th. While the venue was clean and tidy, my now husband and I were both extremely disappointed with the staff. The ceremony went off fine, but the reception had us upset. We brought in our own cake from a private vendor as the hall does not do "desert catering." The issue came with them not allowing us to take home our additional cake leftovers! NOT EVEN KIDDING! Who does that? And they also do not allow you to take home any additional food that the hall did not serve even though you paid for it. But to tell me I couldn't take home my own cake that they did not prepare blew me away! The staff was extremely rude with my guests and the last thing I wanted to be doing as a bride was trying to get the staff to be agreeable. The bartender was good and friendly, but the wait staff were pushy and rude.

At our last tasting, they made us a serving of an item we wanted to try but was not available at any of our tastings. They were very cooperative with us and made sure we were able to try everything so our big day will be perfect. The food is appetizing, and we look forward to having our wedding here.
