Above and beyond
I can't even begin to thank Crissalane and her team for their amazing work. She met with us as often as we needed to make sure we felt happy with the vision she presented from the beginning, she just got it. Not only did they provide PERFECT florals for the ceremony and reception, they worked with us to build a custom shelving unit for our ceremony backdrop and really brought our vision to life. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone!I can't even begin to thank Crissalane and her team for their amazing work. Best Florals!
Crissalane brought my floral dreams to life. my flowers were perfect. They went above an beyond for me. I had no idea what I really wanted other than I thought things were pretty. It was more than I dreamed of! Perfect, perfect perfect! Everyone needs to work with this kind amazing team. The Most Amazing Flowers
I have always been obsessed with flowers so for my wedding I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted them to look like. With my wedding planner and Disch's help, the flowers were even better than I could have imagined. They listened to what I wanted and delivered 1000%. My bouquet was gorgeous, and my bridesmaids all loved theirs and took theirs home. The chuppah was breathtaking and the perfect backdrop for our staged photos.I have always been obsessed with flowers so for my wedding I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted them to look like. Simply the Best!
Disch Events are simply amazing! Everything they touched at my wedding was perfect! The lighting and floral was above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Crissy and her team were an absolute joy to work with! Great communication, kind, hard working, and incredibly talented. I would recommend them for any and all events, especially a wedding! Disch took every little vision I had for the wedding and transformed it into an absolute DREAM! I had the honor to work with In aDischin Events for the Makarios Gala this past December. Chris and her husband were both always on time, had everything organized from what time we needed to arrive, what still needed to get done, how long it would take to set up, etc. They have really beautiful decorations. I can not wait until my Wedding Day to use some of the decor they have.
Chris was always great about being flexible with my schedule and going around town to pick things up for me, etc. It was a true blessing. Crissalane was so great to work with! We had our wedding at Max's Wine Dive in their Underground space which is naturally dark... we got pinspots for our tables (with flowers being the only centerpiece) and our cake table and it created the most awesome ambiance in the room and just felt great! Nobody complained about it being too dark or having folks bump into each other once they heard open bar... overall lighting in this dark space was perfect! We also had them setup and breakdown and that helped reduce the day-of chaos. Overall, would totally do this again! LOVED it!Crissalane was so great to work with! Our only child got married four weeks ago and we were fortunate to have Disch Events set up the lighting for the four day long event. The quality of work and level of detail that Johnny Discher, owner, demonstrated that weekend was second to none. We used Disch for all 3 of their services--coordination, floral and lighting. 3 vendors in one? Yes please!
Coordination- we chose the weekend coordination package. There can always be hiccups, and we didn't notice any! That is success on a level which is nearly impossible to achieve, and a good part of that had to do with the planning tools they provided us and the impeccable execution day-of. They kept every aspect worry free and provided a level of personal attention that went far beyond the professional, into making us feel like loved ones. They genuinely care about their couples and it shows immediately and throughout the whole event. If you even thought about Crissalane or Johnny, they were there with almost superhuman skill. They even managed during the event to make sure surprises were in store for us back at our lodging! A level of skill and detail I wouldn't think at all possible to find, they provided without a word.
Floral
She completely exceeded my vision! After only a few short questions and some examples of what I like, she came up with an initial proposal that was perfect from the start. One of the other entirely unique and perfect-for-us aspects that our guests still talk about months later.
Lighting
We didn't want a lot of up-lighting so we opted for hanging Edison-bulb lighting which looked incredible! Johnny worked within our budget to make an amazing atmosphere for our guests.

They have very reasonable pricing and Crissalane was great to work with. She was very responsive to emails and even let me add an extra light very close to the wedding day as we realized we were short. I can't say enough good things to say about this team. Over the course of a year, Crissalane was an amazing partner in helping to plan and execute our 300+ person wedding in Austin. She is easy to work with, super receptive to feedback, and great at bringing creative ideas and solutions to the table. She strikes a perfect balance between offering her expertise but also paying attention to personal preferences of the bride and groom; she isn't afraid to think outside the box and try something new. At the beginning phases of planning, it was so helpful to have her recommended vendors to start with, everything from valet companies to hair and makeup people that she had worked with before. As we got closer to the wedding, and of course throughout the wedding itself, her team's ability to execute the logistics and timing of everything was incredible - no simple feat as our wedding required the flipping of the room where the ceremony was into the dinner and reception area while guests were having cocktails on the rooftop. I was also blown away by her attention to detail, one example was when we got into our "get away" car at the end of the night, she had directed the driver ahead of time to have our first dance song playing. I would be remiss to not mention how INCREDIBLE the florals were. She was so patient in developing the look and feel of decor with me, something that evolved over time, and I was beyond thrilled with the result. The lighting was also impeccable, both during the ceremony and reception. So many people complimented us on both florals and lighting the next day. Finally, having her to communicate with multiple vendors, family and wedding party was so key, and took a huge amount of stress off our plates. Bottom line - working with Disch Events made our engagement a highly enjoyable time in our lives. We used Disch Events for the lighting at our wedding. They were very easy to communicate with and helped meet our budget. They were prompt and professional on the day of, non-intrusive, and really made our wedding look beautiful. Disch Events did both our flowers and lighting and we could not have been more impressed! Crissalane was so wonderful at executing the vision that I had and even making suggestions when I was unsure of my decisions. We ended up going with all white roses & hydrangea's and Crissalane suggested a hint of lavender. The lighting was the perfect combination of twinkle & candle lights. I absolutely loved the way everything turned out and if I were to do it all again, I would not have it any other way. Absolutely stunning!!!Disch Events did both our flowers and lighting and we could not have been more impressed! I can't remember who gave me Crissalane Discher's information but BLESS YOU. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She and her husband Johnny outdid themselves to make sure our wedding was perfect even on a 32 degree drizzly day with two open air venues and no rain plan (yes, Crissalane reminded me about a rain plan but at that time, I'd been shooting weddings in Texas for 5 years and only seen rain at one ceremony. Hardly been cold at any. Well, the joke was on me lol).
She totally understood our quirkiness and mixed it with romantic elements beautifully. When the tent didn't arrive with the proper sides, she solved the problem immediately (I never knew). At one point during couple photos Johnny got hold of a propane tank and we literally blew hot air under my dress so I could stop shivering. When we were done he cleaned the mud off the glitter heels of my Kate Spades and rubbed my feet until I had feeling back in them. It was THAT cold. Apparently our cake froze (yes, really) but I didn't know about that until later either and it was handled so smoothly our guests found it hilarious and so did we.
Crissalane's sweet, calm, unflappable temperament was exactly what I needed as a bucket load of bad luck rained down on us the week before our wedding. She did the florals too and they were absolutely beautiful. I must have changed my mind 100 times, but she never complained, just asked more questions to clarify my vision. And we had only hired them for the month of/weekend coordination package. She was there for me the entire year, answered every email I had about this idea or that uber promptly. Crissalane and John at Disch Events were one of our best vendors! They are the sweetest people you could ever work with and are extremely accommodating. Disch served as our lighting vendor, focusing on festoon lighting and occasional spot lights. They not only installed the lights onsite before our ceremony, but came back later on that night and worked until about 2:30 am taking everything down.The presence of the festoon lighting completely transformed our site to make it magical. We would highly recommend Disch Events!Crissalane and John at Disch Events were one of our best vendors! They are the sweetest people you could ever work with and are extremely accommodating. Disch served as our lighting vendor, focusing on festoon lighting and occasional spot lights. They not only installed the lights onsite before our ceremony, but came back later on that night and worked until about 2:30 am taking everything down.The presence of the festoon lighting completely transformed our site to make it magical. We would highly recommend Disch Events! -

When my mom, wedding planner, grandmother and I first met Crissalane and instantly connected with her. The girl has style, is beyond friendly and professional. During the consultation we discussed ideas, looked at pictures and got to know each other. If you decide to move forward with her, she charges a deposit to create a preliminary contract. I think it was $100 but this goes towards your remaining balance. She will work with you until you are completely satisfied with the contract to sign.
We were engaged a little over a year and moved to another state. That being said, I would email Crissalane roughly once a month. She always answered within 1 or 3 days. We made adjustments to the contract as needed and she coached me through my ideas, worries, etc... Sometimes the flowers I wanted didn't fit within our budget, so she would offer two or three other options that looked similar and just as pretty.
The best part about Disch Events is they also offer other things such as lighting at no additional delivery charge! We added lighting to our dance floor area and I do not regret it for one second. It added so much depth to the room.
Even though we had a wedding planner I leaned on Crissalane for decor advice. She was always so helpful and attentive. Our floral was absolutely stunning. The church arrangements were bigger than expected and were everything I asked for!

Crissalane and Johnny Discher, I cannot sing their praises enough! The flowers for our wedding were absolutely incredible. Crissalane worked with the tree rental company and our church to make sure everything looked perfect. She even had the vision to cover up the not-so-great looking parts of the church with flowers and greenery. Johnny worked with the church lighting guys to have the most flattering light for our colors and the setting. I did not have a "day-of" wedding planner - big mistake. Crissalane and Johnny took on that role without me even asking because I'm sure they could see I was desperate for help. Johnny even bustled my dress!
At the reception, Crissalane and Johnny guided Garrett and I through the night and made sure everything went smoothly. They even pulled us aside before our exit to make sure all the guests were able to get in their spots with the sparklers.

I can't speak highly enough for Crissalane or Disch Events! I live in Houston, but wanted to get married in the Hill Country since that is where we spend most of our summers. I quickly became overwhelmed with all the decisions and options and knew right away I needed a Wedding Coordinator. I started out booking Disch Events for full wedding coordination, and ended up also hiring them to be the florist as well as using their lighting services. I was absolutely thrilled with everything. Crissalane will be as hand on or as hands-off as you want her to be. I was more of the 'I need you to think of every last detail and just give me a couple options for the big decisions' kind of bride. I even let her pick my wedding colors! ha! When the big day arrived, I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful everything was and how there wasn't one thing missing that I wished were there. Actually, there were so many surprises around every corner that I hadn't even thought of. I am sure there were a few issues that popped up last minute, but to this day I don't know for sure because Crissalane and her team didn't let anything negative come my way. Everything was handled to perfection. I am extremely picky and a bit of a perfectionist, and writing rave reviews aren't something I do often. She and her team are the best I have ever worked with. If you can only afford day-of coordination, I would absolutely do it. I promise if you can find a way to have her plan the entire event, it will seem like a steal when it is all said and done. This is a stressful event, why not have the best take most of the stress away so you can truly just enjoy the moment and not miss a thing? Disch Events was outstanding. Their promptness in responses and professionalism was great! They were very flexible, accommodating and helpful. They handled all decor and lighting for our event and the venue looked absolutely beautiful.

I must have changed my quote and numbers 20 times, yet they never complained, and always were happy to help. They had wonderful creative ideas, and really GOT ME!
