We had a wonderful experience with DW from our first day reaching out to them to learn more all the way through to the big day. Everyone here is incredibly kind and responsive, and they are incredibly thoughtful / total experts at all the details to make your wedding day go smoothly. We really wanted a venue that took the burden off of us from doing all the work as we really didn't have the time or desire to get into every small detail and they did not disappoint. Apart from overall service, the food was delicious - all our guests commented on it - and the venue location is perfect, with hotels nearby, plenty of activities, and a great indoor/outdoor hybrid space.

Highly recommend DW and their team to anyone considering a wedding in DC!

We had our wedding in April 2024 at District Winery. Throughout the booking and planning process, we were very impressed with all of our interactions with the District Winery event team staff. Although we were assigned a new event coordinator during the planning process, Kat and Samantha made the transition easy and smooth for us! Kat did a great job of picking up where our other coordinator left off. She was an integral part of the planning process - keeping us on track with action items, answering all of our questions, and making last minute changes and additions in a timely manner.

Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and went off without a single flaw! Kat and her team exceeded our expectations in setting up the space for the ceremony and the reception. They went above and beyond and did things to elevate the experience like providing us with champagne and appetizers in the bridal suite and repurposing florals and decor from the ceremony to the reception without being asked. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and all of our guests raved about the fried chicken, crispy brussels sprouts, and signature drinks. Kat and the rest of the event team at District Winery didn't neglect a single detail and helped us execute the most perfect wedding day we ever could have imagined!

District winery was an amazing space to get married at and for us very special, we had our first date there. The team especially Rheanna and Kat did everything to make our day perfect. From about 3 months out to wedding day you are in almost constant contact with them and they handle every detail to make your day perfect. We couldn't have asked for our day to be more perfect and we are so happy we chose district winery. They made wedding planning as smooth as humanly possible and for that we are so grateful. If you are looking for a sign to book your wedding here this is it. If you want a stress free and fun wedding day, district winery will do everything to make that happen.

District Winery did an incredible job with our wedding! From the first day we started working with them to the day of the wedding everything was flawless. We had 188 guests + 6 piece band, cleaned up a table for dancing and had windy weather so the terrace had the sides down and still everyone fit in there well. They had the space heaters on which were fantastic and you really could not tell anything about the weather.

A few highlights:
- Pre wedding they give you a coordinator about 3 months out who answers all of your questions/helps to coordinate the event (and before this 3 month mark you can email the events team and someone will get back to you!).
- They are full service - we only had to bring in music, cake, floral, photo, video and photo booth! The space is so beautiful you really don't need to bring in a ton of decor.
- The food and wine/champagne are spectacular
- They are incredibly accommodating - we asked for a few random things and they were met with and "of course!"

Our event manager Tori was incredible and we cannot thank her enough!!! Truly thank you to the entire DW team, we have heard compliment after compliment about our wedding, the staff, the venue, the food, the bar, everything and we owe it all to you guys. THANK YOU!!

We had our wedding in October 2023 at District Winery and it was the most magical and memorable day ever! Our day of planner Rheanna and her team were fantastic throughout the entire process leading up to and the day of our wedding. She really helped our dream wedding come to life and provided insight and ideas that made the day so special. From the moment we toured the venue, my husband and I fell in love the the beautiful views and the modern yet classic feel of the reception space. The food was delicious and we loved the different options we could choose from to have during our reception. Not to mention the fun add on of the taco bar which was a huge hit! In addition, we loved the options for wine and the option for a signature cocktail to have during the reception. One thing that stood out to us the most was that after the ceremony we were brought down to our little room where we could relax and have some small plates before we headed back up to join our guests. This was a special touch that my husband and I appreciated because we were able to take a moment for ourselves to just take it all in and we love that District Winery does this for their couples. We both also appreciated Rheanna and her team the day of the wedding and all the time they took to coordinate where the vendors would need to be as well as helping us make sure all the details were perfect. Rheanna made the day go by so smoothly that we had nothing we needed to worry about besides enjoying our day with family and friends. One small thing that we wished went differently was that the parking gate attendant who was working the day after the wedding tried to charge my family member money to get their car out of the parking lot. Something that was not suppose to happen since our family members were allowed to park in this lot, leave their cars overnight if needed, and then pick up the car without any charge. This was mentioned to District Winery and we hope that this does not happen to someone else in the future and that this person would not do something like this again. Overall, we are truly grateful for District Winery, Rheanna, and her team for making our day amazing. We can’t wait to come back and celebrate as VIC’s now and relive the moments from our wedding day.

District Winery ended up being the only venue we toured. My goal as a bride was to have to worry about as little as possible and from the start of our communication we loved how much District Winery had to offer (I am not a type A person so this was great!) They were extremely organized in their planning, the food was delicious, and our guests are still raving about the day! We got to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing we were taken care of. Our vendors even mentioned how well they were treated which was so nice to hear. DW truly exceeded our expectations. For couples who want an almost all inclusive venue DW is a great choice.

My fiance and I recently had our engagement party at District winery in November of 2023! We had the best time there and appreciate all the staff of DW. Chloe was absolutely the best and assisted us with decorations and making us and our guests feel comfortable.

From beginning to end District Winery exceeded our expectations. Once our daughter made the decision to have her wedding there they took care of every detail. The wedding itself was absolutely magical: the food and service were top notch, the beauty of the venue and the amazing bar service made for a perfect evening. Our guests told us over and over it was one of the best events they have attended. I cannot recommend District Winery enough!

Would highly recommend this venue. The staff were amazing, and pretty much handled everything. Everything is entirely streamlined. The venue is beautiful, we barely prepped any decorations. They were accommodating, flexible, and answered all our questions. If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue, this is the one.

We had a wedding at District Winery and it was everything we wanted and more! You hear of so many horror stories about people paying crazy amounts and not getting half of what they ask for. We went with District Winery due to their location (on the waterfront) and their all inclusive package. We didn’t need to go through a crazy amount of vendors for food or setup. But in the end between District Winery and specifically Rheanna everything was smooth flowing and matched exactly with our vision.

Thanks to Rheanna and the team at District Winery for making our wedding event so special - they were incredibly responsive and helpful along the way to make our day run smoothly. Beautiful venue, great food and a wonderful team. Would highly recommend!

Our wedding at District Winery couldn’t have been better. They clearly know how to execute weddings because ours went off without a hitch. They pair you with a wedding event coordinator for the day of and Chloe was the BEST! The whole process was incredibly organized and easy. Cant recommend it enough!

Rheanna and the entire team at DW made wedding planning seem easy, seamless and organized. They truly think of everything and make themselves available from the moment you first make contact through the wedding day for any questions, help, etc. The venue itself is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend for the perfect wedding day!

We do not have enough good things to say about District Winery! It was the only venue we toured because we instantly knew it was perfect for us. Chloe and Rheanna were overly accommodating with every request we had. For a DC wedding and all that we had (upgraded entrees, specialty cocktails, late night grilled cheese bar), the value was excellent! Our wedding was an absolute dream and we are thrilled with how it came together. I would recommend this venue to anyone and am so lucky to have had my wedding here

Rheanna, Kat and the whole DW team helped us focus our wedding planning, made accommodations and assisted in our wedding at every step! Rheanna even stepped in to MC our reception last minute without even being asked. Highly recommend for couples who don’t want to do too much of their own research and don’t want to hire a wedding planner.

We couldn’t have done it without Rheanna and her team! With weddings being so expensive these days, I truly felt like we got our money’s worth and were able to enjoy ourselves during our special day.

We are SO glad we chose District Winery as our wedding venue for our May 2023 wedding. We wanted a DC wedding without being a "DC" wedding and District Winery was the perfect one-stop shop venue for us. Everything from start to finish worked tremendously and with ease. We are so grateful for all the helpful employees, beautiful venue, and amazing location of DW. Having our wedding in Navy Yard made it so easy for guests who were coming from out of town. Everyone loved DW's building and delicious food/drink. We highly recommend District Winery as your wedding venue!

District Winery was the best possible choice. They were easy to communicate with, responsive and delightful. Worth every penny.
Britt Manner, their overall event manager who you meet when you tour the place, is such a gem and immediately sold us on the venue. Our dedicated event manager, Rheanna Kablaoui was everything an anxious bride could have wanted. She answered every question we had, even the wild ones like "can we bring a pizza for one of our guests with special needs?" (The answer was yes!) and handled our set up and tear down with ease. I didn't have to lift a finger on the day, and my POC who did our drop off and pick up of personal items said it was unbelievably easy. They coordinated with our vendors and gave us a huge, easy to use spreadsheet to make sure everything went off without a hitch. All of our guests with dietary restrictions (and we had a lot) were taken care of. Everything looked exactly as I imagined. And when we made on-the-fly changes like ending the night an hour early so my grandmother could be there, they did it with ease.
I've gotten numerous compliments about the food and the staff on the night and I just can't have imagined a better space. We loved it.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about District Winery and their team. Special shoutout to Megan who made us feel so special the entire planning process. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, absolutely perfect :)

Everything about our experience with District Winery--from our first conversation with the event sales team, to the planning phase with the event coordinators, to rehearsal and execution--was professional, efficient, organized, warm, and supportive. Every interaction was positive, and each step along the planning journey made us feel like we were in attentive, capable hands. As it turned out, our day-of event coordinator had a death in the family the week of our wedding, and had to leave town for the funeral. We'd developed a relationship with her, and were so sorry to hear about her loss. However, another member of the team picked right up and executed our wedding rehearsal and day-of ceremony and reception as though she'd been planning it with us the whole time--the entire thing was seamless. This is a testament to the entire DW event staff and management, and we look forward to dining and wine tasting there as wedding VIPs for years to come.

Our wedding at District Winery was outstanding! It's the perfect location (close to hotels and other restaurants for out of town guests), the food is amazing (our guests are still raving about the food), great wine (that's a given), and excellent service. Our Event Manager, Brittany, was the best. She was responsive, professional and personable. The entire staff at District Winery ensured we had a perfect wedding, and we cannot thank them enough.

We held our wedding reception at District Winery in September 2022 and it was everything we ever hoped for. It's hard to beat their perfect combo of a covered terrace with a riverfront view and the sweeping, elegant ballroom just inside. The food is outstanding, from the hors d'oeuvres to the salads, sides, and entrees, through to the bite-size desserts and late-night snack stations. There are so many options for every course that we could have chosen completely differently and still had an incredible menu. Our guests loved the food, the space, and especially the chance to take home bottles of wine as party favors at the end of the night. But above all, the highlight of the District Winery event experience is the staff. We felt incredibly well taken care of at each stage of the planning process. Even on the day of, they surprised us with thoughtful touches, like when we retreated to the couple's suite to catch our breath for a few minutes and found they had plated two of each appetizer for us. We loved the ones we'd selected, but of course had missed some of them while trying to welcome our family and friends during cocktail hour. That's just one of the many ways they make for a seamless event that's still full of unexpected joys along the way. For us, District Winery checked every box — a scenic all-in-one venue right in the city, with great food and drinks and a stellar team attending to every detail with poise and professionalism.

I co-hosted a bridal shower at this amazing venue in a private space overlooking the water. It could not have been more perfect. The planning process with Britt could not have been easier. She recommended an awesome florist who was also great to work with. The food was amazing, the staff were incredible and the venue was stunning! The bloody mary bar and mimosa bar were so much fun. Everything was set up when we arrived and the staff made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the event. They even helped put together wine bottle favor bags with really cute thank you tags. The shower was truly perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this venue for private events.

Stop looking now and book District Winery; it is the most perfect wedding venue. The space is beautiful. The food and drinks are AMAZING. Our event coordinator Rheanna took care of everything and made my life so easy. I literally could not be happier with our choice of venue. Everything went so smoothly, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was and how it was the best wedding food they ever had. Run, don’t walk, to book DW.
