We couldn’t be happier with DJ Bill Lyons for our wedding on 9/28/24 in Bar Harbor, ME. From start to finish, Bill was prompt, professional, and incredibly organized. He seamlessly handled the sound for our ceremony and music for cocktail hour and reception, making sure everything flowed perfectly. Bill was attentive to our music requests and nailed the vibe we were going for. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor put us at ease, and our guests had a fantastic time dancing at our wedding. We highly recommend DJ Bill Lyons for any event—he truly helped make our day unforgettable! -

I can't say enough positive things about the quality of work done or the professional and prompt communication while planning my wedding. DJ Bill Lyons was so helpful in helping me organize the schedule for the day. He was able to be flexible while keeping us on track. Bill was great to work with. Communicated very well with us, answered all our questions and concerns and was very responsive from booking to the day of the event. On our wedding day he was great and flexible with some of the venues hiccups and he was very easy going with our wishes and quick to adapt to changes. We had no worries with his equipment or set up and everything was taken care of without needing to involve us which is one less thing we had to worry about. We highly recommend Bill. -

Bill Dj’d my wedding in august 2024. He never skipped a beat. All of my requests were granted above and beyond. He gets extra points for truly making the day go smoothly. Not quite on schedule? No one noticed because Bill kept the music going and was an amazing MC. He was amazing during the planning process and called the week prior to confirm all details in depth. Bill was very easy to work with and gave great recommendations. He was incredibly flexible; for example, if we decided to change something in the lineup for the day, he went with it and made it work for the better. He got the crowd going and was a great MC. DJ Bill made us feel so comfortable. Weddings can be stressful, but he knew exactly what he was doing (almost like he’s been voted for couples choice award for years now 🤣). Flawlessly executed, from the phone call the week prior to review everything, to the ceremony, to the reception, and the last song of the evening. It was wonderful! Best DJ ever. Your Maine DJ! -

We had DJ Bill officiate our wedding and he was fantastic! He was very professional and set up his equipment at separate locations for our ceremony and reception and everything went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Bill Lyons! My husband and I recently got married in Bar Harbor, Maine, though we live in New Jersey. It was somewhat nerve-racking trying to plan a wedding from afar, but we luckily stumbled upon Bill Lyons online and he made planning our music a breeze! He was incredible to work with--super responsive, informative, and knowlegable in the run-up to the wedding. He has a great system online that allows you to fill out forms, create a timeline, and plan your music (everything from must plays, play if time, and do not plays) and my husband and I had an awesome time picking our playlist.

To me one of the most important aspects of a wedding is the music. DJ Bill Lyons was amazing- I loved all the songs he played. We wanted parts of a certain song for our introductions and he made that happen. What I really respect about DJ Bill Lyons is that he listens to you and what you want. He also has great suggestions. Our wedding reception was so much fun and it's because of DJ Bill Lyons! I highly recommend him!!!! -

If you're looking for a DJ, look no further than Bill Lyons. He was very responsive from the beginning while getting a quote. His forms are very easy to use on his website. Even after filling out his form he called to go over the information to ensure it was all correct. During the reception he kept the people on the dance floor all night. Bill is very personable and professional and I would recommend him to anyone for their wedding or any event needing a DJ. -

DJ Bill was one of the 1st vendors we hired back in 2019. We met him at a wedding show and after chatting with him in person, had no need to look anywhere else. He is fun, personable, easy to talk to, and provides a wide variety of DJ and lighting services for any event. He was understanding and flexible when we had to postpone our wedding an entire year, and he was very helpful as our new plans were being finalized. His relationship with our venue's staff and all of our other vendors was immensely valuable. They all worked together seamlessly and made our wedding festivities come together without a hitch.

DJ Bill Lyons attended our wedding and was so crucial to us being able to have a wonderful event. He was so open and easy to talk too about issues and problems that arrived, and you could tell he cared to get the job done correctly.
Quality of service:
Bill came and setup his equipment and the sound quality was excellent. He was easily able to pivot from an indoor wedding to outside due to coronavirus restrictions. Bill did an amazing job on both the lighting effects. We ordered the optional name up in lights package which came out beautiful in our photos. Bill Lyons did a fantastic job DJ'ing my wedding in August 2019 at The Manor Inn in Castine, ME. Bill provided music for our outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour/reception. My husband and I worked with Bill for about 2 months leading up to the wedding to determine our music playlist and confirm logistics. Bill was very flexible and was able to add several songs that we hoped to play for our first dance, etc. to his music library. This was greatly appreciated. Bill made it very clear that he was not just playing songs at the reception, but rather making sure everything flowed and everyone was having a good time.
