  Amazing. Everything went perfect.

  Bill was the best. Is the best! He was 100% my first and only choice for a DJ. He was quick with his responses, honest and knew how to play the right songs at the right times! He came to DJ my wedding in a hurricane with flooded grounds, tents blowing over, sticks everywhere, a power outage that was quickly fixed. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else. Bill is extremely go with the flow and is always ready to let you know what’s next on that wedding timeline. I’m so glad I picked DJ Bill Lyons, I got so many compliments by my guests. Zero regrets from the Ames family!

  One of the Easiest Decisions in All My Wedding Planning

  Working with DJ Bill was a no brainer for us. He came recommended as a preferred vendor through our venue (the Bar Harbor Inn) and had tons of positive reviews on Wedding Wire and the Knot websites. After our wedding, I could totally understand why. DJ Bill clearly laid out all the services he had available and never tried to upsell us on anything. His websites for choosing our music was easy to complete and he absolutely nailed the vibe on our special day. We even had some last minute changes in speeches, which he was easily able to accommodate on the spot.

  DJ Bill Lyons was incredible helpful as our wedding dj. He read the vibe of the crowd well and was invaluable guiding the transitions from one aspect of the ceremony and reception to another. He also did a great job of discreetly suggesting to the bride and groom what comes next for reception highlights.

  My wife and I are so glad we picked Bill to be the DJ at our wedding. He was very professional, responsive, and he even helped us plan the timeline for our reception. And most importantly, he is a great DJ! He was able to put all of our song requests into a great playlist, and he even mixed in a few requests last-minute from our guests! We would highly recommend Bill for your upcoming wedding.

  Great DJ!!!

  Bill did a wonderful job emceeing the wedding reception, he downloaded all the songs the bride and groom asked for and even had some requests from the guests on hand. He is very kind, knowledgable and professional. I would definitely hire him for another event. 😁

  Professional! Start to finish!

  I didn’t have a wedding planner for my wedding and honestly didn’t need one with a Bill doing our wedding with him being the DJ. We had a few phone meetings to go over everything and he was always available when needed even down to making sure things went smoothly on our wedding day! I can’t thank him enough!   Wedding in Bar Harbor

  We had such a great time all due to the great music played by DJ Bill Lyons! He played great dinner music and then we had great dance music after dinner. It was a perfect mix. We also loved making our play list and request which songs not to play.

  From start to finish, Bill was wonderful to work with. He was always so prompt in responding to me. We had a smaller wedding of 42 guests but we had a lot of those guests up on the dance floor. Bill did a great job reading the crowd and playing songs in the best order to keep everyone on the dance floor. My fiancé and I debated a lot about whether to hire a DJ or use our own playlist on a speaker… Definitely hire Bill! I am so glad I did and would 100% do it again. We had such a fun wedding day!

  Excellent flow and music choice. Very easy to set up song lists and event details with Bill’s website. Highly recommend. Especially if you want Stone Cold Steve Austin’s song as your entrance song!

  Exceptional Services and we are pleased!

  DJ Bill Lyons was an excellent DJ. He kept the schedule of our wedding reception perfectly and organized the events in a way that made sense. He also helped to arrange our reception in ways that I had not thought of. He aided in picking songs for certain parts of the ceremony such as when we entered the reception. He played a wide range of music for the event and played everything that we requested to be played. He helped bring into the room items that we forgot to bring in ahead of time as well. He was also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him for any event you have planned and he was exceptional with the wedding reception!

  Fantasic experience

  We had DJ Bill officiate our wedding and he was fantastic! He was very professional and set up his equipment at separate locations for our ceremony and reception and everything went smoothly. He was flexible on the day of the wedding as well and really helped make everything run smoothly. Highly recommend!

  Fantastic DJ! We could not have asked for more!

  I cannot say enough good things about DJ Bill Lyons! My husband and I recently got married in Bar Harbor, Maine, though we live in New Jersey. It was somewhat nerve-racking trying to plan a wedding from afar, but we luckily stumbled upon Bill Lyons online and he made planning our music a breeze! He was incredible to work with--super responsive, informative, and knowlegable in the run-up to the wedding.
