  Great Experience!

  Josh was terrific with our wedding in June. He commanded the night well and helped the flow of our wedding go smoothly and naturally.
  
  Josh scheduled meetings with us to ensure he understood what we wanted/needed, while also putting his own twist into the music and was a blast!
  
  Family & friends have raved put how much fun the night was, and attributed it to Josh's style. Everything went smoothly, and everyone had a blast. I would highly recommend Josh at Cruze CRTL.

  Couldn’t have been better!

  Honestly I was really skeptical about choosing a DJ but only 6 mins into looking I found Josh, this guy is honest, genuine and punctual I loved that. He worked with us every step of the way since our wedding was a bit chaotic he kinda stepped in and helped us figure out how it would work best. All the guests had a wonderful time! We can thank you enough Josh!

  Would 110% recommend, amazing dj!

  DJ Cruze CTRL is incredible, and we highly recommend him to everyone!!! My husband and I hired him to be our wedding DJ at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, IN. From the get go he was incredibly communicative and responsive. He is really kind and so great to work with! He talked with my husband and I to figure out what we were looking for with our wedding DJ experience. Having a great DJ was really important to us, and DJ Cruze CTRL absolutely exceeded our expectations!! On the day of he came really prepared, he was so friendly and great to work with, and his professionalism was outstanding! His DJ skills are amazing and he created THE BEST environment for our whole cocktail hour and reception. He was super timely with all the different things happening like bridal party intros, first dances, cake cutting, speeches, etc. His DJ skills then created the best dance party our friends and family have ever experienced! Our loved ones continue to rave about how awesome our DJ was and how they had the best time dancing! Thank you DJ Cruze CTRL for being the best, we highly recommend you!!!!

  Not entirely satisfied.

  He was very polite and nice. We had a venue outdoors and we had to use our own speaker cause he didn't have equipment for that situation. This isn't a problem, but just be warned if you have have power outdoors. We were able to work around it. I don't know if communication wasn't clear enough, but I gave him all the names for introductions and said they would all be introduced during the same song. He instead just said "bridesmaids and groomsmen " not very personalized. He did say my MOH and Best man's names as well as parents, but he accidentally called my parents my grandparents. He said my Must play list was just for reference. That's not what I thought must play meant. I thought it meant that those songs would be played. The good thing is most of my guests did have a good time, and he did receive compliments, so I suppose that's what matters most.

  Sorry you weren't satisfied. We went over the speaker for the ceremony and you said you were okay with helping with that and now you're saying it's a problem. I also don't play mostly techno, played a lot of today's pop hits from Bruno Mars to Drake, and older pop songs. Your playlist is a reference and the point is to make sure your guests are happy. I also do remember saying names for the reception intro but sorry if that was missed. At the very least I hope your guests had fun, because it seemed like they and even the staff had a good time. All in all this review is very reflective of your own personal taste and isn't necessarily what others agree with.

  Don't Recommend

  I used DJ Cruz Ctrl for my wedding this past year. There were some red flags I should have recognized in the beginning during our communication. During the reception he forgot our last name when he introduced us- showing his unpreparedness. Then continues to say "jesus christ" into the microphone after he stumbled the words for everyone to hear. I was shocked. He walked in on us doing our vows which was a very intimate moment and we had to direct him where to go - showing once again he was unprepared and didn't talk to the coordinator. During the reception he let guests take the microphone and sing karaoke..? not once, but 3 times.. lastly, he took requests AND played songs on the do not play list after I exclusively asked him not to play certain artists. It was chaotic, disappointing and by far the worst part of my wedding day- embarrassing. It has taken me a while to write this review but, I think about it often when I think about my wedding day- how things could have gone so much better with the DJ. I believe he is newer to the wedding industry and is coming from a club setting so I would give him some grace but, there were too many mistakes made that day for me to ever recommend him for another wedding. I simply want to save another bride from going through what I had to deal with that day.

  Thanks for your review. I apologize if I made a mistake over the microphone, but I completely disagree with your assertion that I interrupted any vows or ceremony portion of your wedding. Your guests wanted to sing and listen to specific songs so I allowed it so they could have fun at your wedding.
