  Incredible DJ

  We got married in May of 2021 and had to pick our DJ back in December 2020, when we had no idea what our wedding would look like, given the pandemic. We talked to multiple DJs, but truly from the moment I talked to Dave, my mind was made up. It was such a relief to talk directly to the person who would be working our wedding instead of some rep from a big entertainment company. Dave was incredibly flexible given our concerns about the pandemic throughout the whole process.
  
  We ended up having a moderate-sized wedding of about 70 people, and Dave was able to read the room perfectly. He played requests when appropriate and kept the party going at all times, with particular attention given my wife's and my vision for our wedding night. We got many, many. compliments on our music for the night. And when I mentioned to him during an email that I liked to sing, he made it so that I ended up singing twice!
  
  Overall, Dave was an absolute joy to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone.

  DJ Dave made the night

  We are so happy that we chose to go with DJ Dave for our wedding in March 2023. From our intitial phone call up to the day of and during the wedding, he made us feel completely heard and at ease about what we wanted. All of the important moments like the processional, recessional, intros, first dance, etc. went totally smoothly. We had a small wedding of about 40 guests with about half younger folks and half older, and he read the vibes of the room and dancefloor perfectly. He simultaneously responded to and guided the energy of the party, and everybody had a fantastic time, especially us. We highly recommend him to everyone looking!

  The best out there!

  We simply can’t say enough about how amazing Dave was! Truly you should look no further in your DJ search - He is the best out there. From the booking process to the end of the night. He truly made our wedding so memorable. We only requested a few songs and he out did himself with the playlist. He is professional and completely affordable. If I could give him more stars I would. He was very quick to respond to any email or question we had. If I ever have to book another DJ, Dave will definitely be our guy. We highly recommend him over and over again.

  Best Wedding DJ

  We hired Dave as he came highly recommended from a family friend. We were extremely happy with his services. He was on time, always willing to help with my many questions. Anything we needed or wanted he was happy to do. He got everyone out on the dance floor and I could not recommend him enough. We will use him for any of our DJ needs in the future! He was the absolute best! Thank you for making our wedding the best it could have been

  DJ Dave - FUN, responsive, reliable

  Happily posting our experience with DJ Dave from our wedding! From the first call we had - he was easy to work with, and made the process informative and fun! As we got closer to the date, Dave set clear deadlines, gave us recommendations, quickly responded to texts and emails, did check-in Zoom calls, and even customized songs based on what we were looking for (wanted a quick line dance mashup to keep things “moving”). Dave wanted to know us as people - learning about our family, and what was important to us. He is just a great guy. The day of the wedding - the mic quality during the ceremony and speeches was perfect - no issues, people could TEXT song requests which was so cool, and uplights looked great! The dance floor was full and everyone loved what he was playing! We heard lots of great reviews after the wedding! You’d let yourself down if you didn’t get a quote for your wedding from Dave.

  Dave is the best dj ever

  We are so thankful we found Dave to DJ our wedding! From our initial phone conversation- I knew we immediately wanted to work with him. Dave is just such a genuinely nice and easy-going guy. He was really great about guiding us through song choices. The entire planning process went smoothly and his communication was great. Our wedding day in early July was extremely HOT. Still, Dave kept the energy going throughout the cocktail hour and the reception. I had several relatives who came up to me and were shocked because Dave had encouraged some relatives who NEVER dance to hit the dance floor. The music was fabulous and we had the most amazing time!

  Totally obsessed!

  Dave was absolutely amazing. He was so easy to work with and very helpful during our planning process, he made all the music stress free! He played a good mix of the songs I requested and other party songs, he does a really good job announcing and transitioning into the next thing. The photo booth was a huge hit, everyone loved it and the photo strips were soo cute! Our monogram Gobo was gorgeous and so was the uplifting, it was all very classy. I want to book DJ Dave and PopIn Booths for every party I throw from now on! If you’re thinking about booking them, don’t think, just do it!

  DJ Dave was the definition of professional from start to finish. From our initial phone call, I could immediately tell that Dave loved his work, put his guests firsts, and was extremely thorough and conscientious. Leading up to the wedding, he had multiple meetings with us to make sure all of the details were mapped out to the T. As a couple, we had several specific requests we asked him to do, including moderating a tea ceremony and hosting an interactive wedding game, and he was completely on board for all of them. He was also extremely fair about the pricing, and revised our contract to reflect a shorter reception duration due to COVID. On the day of the reception, he arrived early, and everything ran so smoothly. He announced every transition well, cued all of the music tracks for our entrance, first dances, and cake cutting down to the exact segments that we wanted, and played the perfect music playlist during the reception with songs that we enjoyed. Dave truly went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple and deliver a reception that fit our personalities and specific requests.   Professional, friendly, great value

  Unfortunately my husband and I never got to experience what all DJ Dave's incredible reviews were talking about. We signed Dave in 2019, and got legally married in July 2020 with a small family-only ceremony, after having rescheduled our big party to 2021. Dave was awesome during the rescheduling process, but recently my husband and I made the difficult decision to cancel our reception altogether, and put all that money towards buying a house instead. But again, Dave was understanding and totally accommodating during the cancellation process. Over the past year and a half, Dave has been incredible to work with. Professional, fun, understanding, prompt in response, friendly...all that and more. We wish more than anything we could have had him at our dream wedding that was SUPPOSED to happen this past July, but based on the quality of his service and him as a person, we'll still be recommending him to anyone we know, and use him should we ever need a DJ in the future!

  Best wedding DJ EVER!!!

  “Who was your DJ?” was all I kept hearing at/after our wedding because he was so AMAZING! If you’re looking for a DJ, look no further than Dave! He is professional, responsive and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. We had some transportation issues the day of our wedding that moved our timeline around, but Dave didn’t miss a beat! He nailed our entry song, eloquently emceed our dances, speeches and special requests and, most importantly, he kept the dance floor full and fun all night long. He also provided beautiful uplighting to our outdoor castle venue that truly made the evening that much more magical. We seriously could not recommend or thank Dave enough for making our night absolutely perfect!!

  Made our wedding an absolute BLAST!

  I am blown away by Dave's DJ skills. He basically read my mind when it came to all the song selections. I had told him what styles we would like to hear, but left the specifics up to him. He totally NAILED it. All of my guests have said that they have never danced so much at a wedding in their life!
  Dave was also so supportive and accommodating with anything that I needed or forgot along the way. I forgot to give him the names of my junior bridesmaids ahead of time, but he just quickly wrote them down without a question.
  I highly recommend adding in the light package. The uplighting gave the room a great ambiance, and the dance lights were the perfect touch to get the dance floor bumping!
  Dave was all around a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond, funny, friendly, and made my wedding a complete blast. I would recommend him to any couple who is looking for an excellent DJ!

  Dave was an amazing DJ from start to finish! He included amazing detail from knowing what song to play when, he even read the crowd the night of our wedding, and saw who was dancing to what and just went with it. I would choose Dave for any event, and I will be chosing him again in the future. It was such a pleasure working with him! He makes the most overwhelming part so easy! Thank you again Dave. This wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without you!!

  D.J. Dave Riley was an absolute pleasure to work with. He conveniently came right to my parents house for the first interview meeting and after talking with him for 10 minutes, we all knew he was the one! We had interviewed several D.J.s that either seemed socially awkward, out of touch with current top 40 hits or were extremely pompous. His energy showed that he truly loved his job and was genuinely exited to be our D.J. He has several impressive dance lighting effect machines and made the dance floor feel like a popular Boston night club. He has plenty of high tech up-lighting fixtures that can create any shade of color that you can imagine. He truly made the room come to life and really represent me and my husband. He sent us all the information we needed to create our wedding playlist. There's so many songs you need to decide on and he even gives you suggestions to make the process easier. When we met up before the wedding, he covered every little detail and I felt completely confident that the music was totally taken care of. I am a bit of a control freak and especially when it comes to music but I had zero worries about Dave. He totally got my vision. He was very familiar with all the music we had chosen and assured us that all our choices were perfect. He even shortened our first dance song for us because we were concerned about it being too long but didn't want to just fade out and loose the end of the song. He sent us two different versions he created for us to choose from. Needless to say that the wedding was amazing and I was 100% pleased with everything. I could go on and on but you get the point. D.J. Dave is the best! Oh and I didn't even mention how unbelievably affordable the price was for the package we purchased. Okay I'm done now, I think. LOL! Thank you Dave from me, my parents and my husband. You helped make my vision and dream come true. We were honored to have you be a part of the best day ever!

He has plenty of high tech up-lighting fixtures that can create any shade of color that you can imagine. He truly made the room come to life and really represent me and my husband. He sent us all the information we needed to create our wedding playlist. There's so many songs you need to decide on and he even gives you suggestions to make the process easier. When we met up before the wedding, he covered every little detail and I felt completely confident that the music was totally taken care of. I am a bit of a control freak and especially when it comes to music but I had zero worries about Dave. He totally got my vision. He was very familiar with all the music we had chosen and assured us that all our choices were perfect. He even shortened our first dance song for us because we were concerned about it being too long but didn't want to just fade out and loose the end of the song. He sent us two different versions he created for us to choose from. Needless to say that the wedding was amazing and I was 100% pleased with everything. I could go on and on but you get the point. D.J. Dave is the best! Oh and I didn't even mention how unbelievably affordable the price was for the package we purchased. Okay I'm done now, I think. LOL! Thank you Dave from me, my parents and my husband. You helped make my vision and dream come true. We were honored to have you be a part of the best day ever!

  My husband and I hired Dave to dj our ceremony and reception this past Saturday, he was awesome!! Any couple would be lucky to have him for their wedding! His coordination both before, during and after would put any bride at ease. We had also came to Dave with a very vague sense of what we wanted the music to be like and he exceeded our expectations.   Dave absolutely crushed it for our wedding. The week following our wedding, we received overwhelmingly high praise for the non stop raucous dance floor which lasted all night. He played a tremendous mix of the playlist we provided plus many more perfectly timed unexpected jams. We are incredibly happy with how the evening turned out and it was in large part due to how well he understood the crowd and his instinctive ability to time and transition songs. A truly epic time and we can't thank him enough for it.
  
  You undoubtedly have enough stress finding the right vendors for your wedding. With Dave, you can save yourself the additonal stress of finding an exceptional DJ. My recommendation? Set up a meeting with him and don't look back.

  Dave was amazing!!! Right from the beginning he was so great to work with. My schedule is hectic, and he worked with us around everything, including last minute meeting changes and literally last minute (day before the wedding) music decisions. And he would always respond immediately when I would email him. When we met in person he was so comfortable to talk to and he went over things that we had never even thought of. We even got side tracked talking about people who would be at the wedding, and day of the wedding he was able to pick out these people from the crowd which was hilarious to us. He did an amazing job of mixing music from all different decades and genres that we wanted, and he kept the flow and energy of the wedding at an amazing high. (He was also able to mix in Nirvana flawlessly which was a must have for my groom) We just can’t sing enough praises for him. We got so many compliments on him and not one negative piece of feedback, which is almost impossible to do with our group of friends. The up-lighting and dance light show were both fantastic. He made the whole room glow as if there were 1000s of candles, then changed it up for dancing to match the energy. Also, on a side note, it was so nice to work with a DJ who didn’t have that cliché obnoxious “DJ vibe." He was really cool and down to earth, and never tried to push any kind of music on us. He was completely about what we wanted.
  Aside from being our DJ, he ended up basically being our wedding coordinator the day of. Our venue didn’t have one, so we were clueless as to timing and the order of things. If it wasn’t for him we would’ve been lost. He time managed the whole thing and the night couldn’t have run smoother, and it was completely because of him. The flow of everything was perfect.
  
  We can’t recommend him enough. If you are lucky enough to book him, I promise, you will not regret it.
