  Excellent DJ

  DJ Dean was our DJ for our wedding on May 11th. He was excellent!! He kept the guest up and dancing, he incorporated my wedding song suggestions, he even played “Happy Birthday” and we sang for my fiancé and grandmother birthdays that were that weekend. He was professional in every way and had our guests singing and dancing throughout the night. My guests are still talking about how good DJ Dean was at the wedding. I would highly suggest him to DJ your wedding or party event. Thank you DJ Dean for making my wedding a day to remember!

  I was very hesitant to book a DJ for my wedding after bad DJ experiences at other weddings. But DJ Dean was so great! He took so much pressure off of the music planning, and he was happy to make song recommendations for us - even during the reception. He was very organized and prepared. He did a wonderful job accommodating our guest's song requests and made sure to play songs that would keep everyone dancing. He wasn't intrusive with announcements, and he really helped us keep things on schedule for the reception. He also had several unique songs that we were able to request to make our wedding extra special. I highly recommend DJ Dean for an amazing wedding DJ!

  DJ Dean is awesome! He is friendly and outgoing, and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed him. I wasn't able to meet him before the wedding (through no fault of his) but he was incredibly responsive via email and phone calls, and he made me feel like I had known him forever when we met. He is incredibly affordable for the level of service he provides. I highly recommend DJ Dean!

  DJ Dean is so awesome! He is such a fun and energetic guy that can get everyone of all ages out of the dance floor and keep the party going longer and longer without feeling like the night is dragging along! Dean is one of the nicest people I've met and is extremely helpful in the setup and execution of your wedding! Thanks Dean!

  DJ Dean did a GREAT job with our wedding and ceremony and is such a good value. I am very type A personality so the only thing I would have changed was the contracf details. I was nervous that the reponse I usually got was ‘I will take care of it all’ when I asked a question, but when came to the day, he really did take care of it all! He really gets the crowd going too! But if you have shy guests, be prepared to have them be encouraged to sing/dance.

  DJ Dean was great!! Super fun and got people out and dancing the whole night. Songs were fantastic. He had 2 set ups so he could set up outside at my ceremony area and in the reception hall ahead of time! It worked out perfectly :) He is super speedy at responding and affordable! Our only small thing was the system went in and out a little bit a few times but that is very minor!! Everything else was fantastic and would definitely recommend and book him again! Thanks, DJ Dean!!

  DJ Dean recently performed at my wedding in March, he was awesome. He had the requested music and more. My husband is always skeptical about DJs, however, we very much enjoyed him at our wedding. More importantly, everyone seemed to have enjoyed theirselves!

  Decent Reception, Horrible Ceremony

  We hired this DJ from a recommendation from our venue. Upon meeting with him prior to the wedding, we were hopeful. We gave him the exact list that he asked for us to fill out for the wedding (ceremony/reception) music. Unfortunately, one of the biggest disappointments to me was that he played the wrong song for me to walk down the aisle to. His wireless microphones kept going in and out during the ceremony, so the pastor ended up not using them. The reception ended up being a good time even though we had to remind him of the garter/bouquet toss, cake cutting, shoe game and toasts. He wanted to do things on his time, and if he could've he would've done without any of those things and just played music. For that, I could have just hooked up my phone. Overall, I heard guests had a good time, but my husband and I were let down and more stressed trying to deal with it all.

  I am sorry that you feel this way. Your pastor did not cut t his microphone off.. I did. I don’t know if he had allergies or what but he kept sniffling and I turned it off. He sounded terrible plus he made all the guests stand up during the entire ceremony, (almost 30 minutes in 90 degree temps} which severely interrupted the signal since I was behind them. Nobody has to remind me of anything. I constantly asked when do you want to do certain events. Everything is done on your time not mine. I have did over 1,000 weddings and this is the 1st..I mean the 1st time anybody has said anything about my services. You can see by the other reviews on here that people really like me. I am sorry that you weren’t pleased.

  Unprofessional

  I hired DJ Dean for our wedding on 10/17/20. I hired him for 2 main reasons- 1) He had hosted many weddings at our venue and 2) I liked his personality - he seemed like he would do a great job interacting with guests and keeping it lively.
  
  With COVID a lot of our plans changed and I called all our vendors to see how flexible they were. DJ Dean lowered his price for us as our wedding was much smaller and shorter than initially planned. Great!
  
  Well, the day before our wedding I got a call from someone named Matt? who said they wanted to catch up on some songs for our wedding as he would be doing the music. I didn't know who Matt was, and apparently DJ Dean gave our event away to another vendor. I guess our event wasn't worth him doing anymore with the changes - so he took it upon himself to send someone else out without telling us.
  
  The other DJ was "ok" - it wasn't the service I was expecting from DJ Dean and Matt had not been to our venue before.
  
  I would NOT recommend DJ Dean as he pawned us off to someone else and didn't tell us - the only reason I found out was because the other DJ called me the day before the wedding. Completely unprofressional and quite frankly, unacceptable.

  She called me 2 months before her wedding and wasn’t sure if she was even going to have a DJ or what she was going to do. In the meantime I had a chance to book another wedding and I did because she hadn’t let me know what she was going to do. Maybe 4 weeks ahead of time she called and said she just needed ceremony and the special dance music. I did call her and tell her that it wasn’t me that was going to do it. I paid the other DJ 200.00..while I only charged her 100.00. I paid out of my pocket the other hundred. I thought that was pretty fair. Sorry she was disappointed in the other DJ, but all he did was play ceremony and the special dance music. NO RECEPTION MUSIC! I did 98 weddings last year and have did 2 or 3 weddings every weekend for the last 12 weeks. You don’t get that many gigs by being a bad DJ.

  We had our wedding this past Saturday, Dj Dean was SUPPOSED to be our Dj, we had sent him everything he asked to only receive NOTHING, NO communication AT ALL! Flash to day of and I as the BRIDE found out that DJ Dean wasn’t even there or Dj-ing our wedding anymore right as the ceremony was set to start which is a brides worst nightmare, the guy he had sent to cover him was Danny from Captain Dans Entertainment who was amazing but Dean set him up for failure as he gave him the bare minimum for our wedding reception! A good Dj would have contacted us before hand, Dean had my email and phone number and chose not to even bother letting us know what was going on! If I could leave negative stars I would because he was so UNPROFESSIONAL! I don’t recommend Dj Dean AT ALL but HIGHLY RECOMMEND Danny Jordan from Captain Dans Entertainment - 9804226195 is his number call him instead of this guy!

  Dj dean didn't do my reception, I think his son did. It was awful, he ruined my wedding! He had no personality, he didn't smile. He was distracted, didn't follow the schedule. He complained that he was down at the tent by himself for an hour because we took longer for pictures. He played the electric slide like three times. I am very disappointed.
