  Amazing!!!

  Joe DJed our Christmas wedding on 12/3/22 and I cannot recommend him enough! He is organized, communicative, and so easy to work with. He kept the night flowing well and played wonderful music all ages could enjoy! Even had a projector for our video, no extra charge. He had amazing lights and I could go on and on. He is way more affordable than the big name DJ chains and would recommend him in a heart beat! Want to book him for a fun party after this!

  Best DJ in the Twin Cities

  DJ Joe absolutely rocks a dance floor! My sister and I both hired him for our weddings and he kept the party alive all night. I got married this November. I had to postpone my first wedding date due to Covid and DJ Joe was very understanding. He switched the date on our contract and was so easy to work with. We had multiple people speak/sing during the ceremony and reception and his microphones worked great. He turns the dance floor into a light show with his set up. During Covid, guests can text him with song recommendations and it made the process safe for all guests. His prices are better than most and he's willing to travel all around the state (my wedding was in Faribault, one hour out of MSP). I recommend to all my friends getting married. You will not regret this hire!

  Awesome DJ!

  DJ Joe was awesome! We are beyond happy that we booked him for our wedding! His organization with the ceremony music and reception dance planner was great, and his ability to keep everything flowing seamlessly without us having to worry about anything was so very appreciated! He went above and beyond to make sure the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception entrance, first dances, dinner, speeches, & bouquet toss all happened according to plan! He took requests from guests all night and they loved it, and he even let us book him unexpectedly for an extra hour at the end when we didn't want the dancing to end! Highly recommend DJ Joe!

  Excellent DJ! We had a mixed wedding where many of our family and friends are from Honduras. We asked all of our friends to give us at least one song that they wanted to hear at our reception - we ended up turning in over 60 songs to Joe ahead of the wedding - many of the songs were in Spanish yet Joe had all of them and mixed them in with he other music effortlessly. Joe is easy to work with, friendly, and just a great DJ. His music kept our guests dancing, even though the evening was cold!

We didn't expect that people WOULD BE DANCING BEFORE DINNER. There was ONLY ONE SONG that people didn't dance to the whole night and the dance was from 6:30 to midnight!! Super professional, but even better, super fun. We were very pleased!

  It was a pleasure to work with Joe, he was responsive to the crowd and if the dance floor cleared he quickly transitioned to a new song to get everybody back. Our guests were kind of an older crowd and didn't get up to dance as much as we would have liked, but Joe kept it very fun for us! Towards the end of the night when many of the guests had left he really turned it up for myself and my bridesmaids and the stragglers! My only complaint is that my dad requested for us to dance to the Godfather's Waltz, the song that plays at the wedding in the Godfather. Unfortunately I think Joe picked the wrong version because the instrumentals changed in the middle of the song and got very dark and heavy, not really appropriate for a father-daughter dance. We laughed it off and the guests laughed, but my dad was pretty embarrassed. I would absolutely recommend Joe, but if you have a unique song request I would recommend making sure you know what version Joe has. Overall it was an awesome experience with one small issue. I loved how flexible Joe was when we requested him to do our ceremony music on very short notice!

  Part of the service that I provide, is that I personally meet with each couple. I also provide detailed planning forms that cover all aspects of planning a wedding reception, including requests. The week of the wedding I also call the customer to review timeline and requests. The customer requested "Godfather Waltz" from Godfather movie soundtrack...that was the information that was given, if there was another version of the song, I was not made aware of it. When I called the customer to verify, nothing was mentioned. I can only play the music people request I'm sorry it was the wrong version.
