  The time of my life

  My wedding was unique because we are an interracial couple. My husband and I were nervous because he wanted to make sure DJ Joey could tastefully blend hip-hop music into a formal wedding. I was nervous too because I have only seen him DJ elementary school dances when I was a PTA treasurer. Everything went beautifully. He truly was an amazing DJ and we are thankful.

  Joey came recommended to me from the Spring lake manor as one of their preferred DJ's. After checking out his website and speaking to Joey on the phone, we felt he was our guy. He did a tremendous job for us by keeping the audience actively engaged and taking requests. Thank you to John Nagle and the Spring lake manor for recommending him to us because we were very happy with his service!

  I was FRANTIC because the DJ I originally hired had to cancel LAST MINUTE for medical reasons, so I was told by a friend to call DJ Joey V. We spoke and happened to be available for our wedding. He cleared his schedule to set up an immediate consultation and we did all the paperwork, payment, etc... He was a little pushy about being paid up front, but I understand because this was a last minute wedding.
  
  Everyone thought he did such a wonderful job and even played children's music for the under 6 crowd. We danced all night. Joey announced everyone correctly and emceed the whole night. We had so much fun that my sister booked him for her wedding in 2013.

  My wedding was awesome thanks to DJ Joey! I liked how he managed the reception by playing a good variety of old and newer sons with a mix of fast and slow. He didn't overdo it with a certain type of music. Although some of the "older folks" complained he was too loud, I thought the music was fine. Not his fault they were seated right near the speaker.
  
  I was expecting disco balls and flashing lights but he used blacklights instead. He said he needs a seperate circuit to run the disco lighting which the banquet hall did not have. he said he would have blown a fuse with everything on 1 outlet. He also pointed out that blacklights are easier on the eyes especially with older people and those who are epileptic. A good point, but I would rather had the disco lights. He did a great job and was not pushy. We danced all night and event went 30 minutes overtime. Thank you for a great job!!!

He was very organized and easy to deal with and agreed to play my I-Pod into his system for the songs that he didn't have. Joey played the right music from start to finish and it was obnoxiously loud especially while we were eating. If I ever get married again, I will definitely use him...again!

  i married my high school boyfriend right out of high school and was on a tight budget before he went to bootcamp. i actually met Joey at the car wash where i was getting my oil changed. he gave me a price and my mother ok'd it so i booked him. he turned out to be great and was well within my budget. he was gr8 with the introductions because my father was there with his new wife and my mother brought a date with her and he did not make it akward. there were times where i thought he could have been a bit more interactive like the dj for my sweet 16, but everybody danced all night and liked what he played. i would not have gotten a better deal anywhere else so thank you :-)

  Our limo got into a minor accident which caused us to be an hour late to the rental hall. We asked Joey if he could change times from 5-10 to 6-11 but he said he would have to charge us overtime regardless. As a result, we shortened our reception. He did a great job, but I wish he was a little more flexible and understanding especially since it wasn't our fault.

  I had him confused with DJ Jersey Joe who is also a popular DJ in the area where I live and originaly wanted to book him, but I wound up booking DJ Joey V who I THOUGHT was Jersey Joe. I realized this mistake after I sent him a $500 deposit and politely asked for my money back. He refused and said I either use him or lose the deposit. I wasnt happy at first, but the closer my wedding date was, the more comfortable I felt with him. Joey V always emailed me back right away whenever I asked about a song or wanted to make a change to the bridal party introduction. He created perfect medley of the songs I wanted for my First Dance and gave it to me ahead of time so we could rehearse. Joey played everything we asked him to play that night and did a good job of keeping all of us entertained.
