  The Best Wedding DJ

  We were connected with DJ John Piazza through our wedding planner. We completely hit it off with him on our initial phone call. He completely “got” our musical taste and we felt at ease talking to him - kind of like we were talking to an old friend. You can tell that DJ John is so passionate about what he does and takes a vested interest in making sure the wedding music is reflective of the couple. As someone who is very particular with the songs he wants played, I was nervous about handing over the reins to someone else. DJ John not only incorporated all of our must-plays during dancing, but he kept the hits coming. He mixed in unexpected surprises that elicited responses like “OMG,” “YES” and “I LOVE THIS SONG” from our guests. We had directed him to keep the party pop focused with crowd pleasing throwbacks that would get everyone going. Seriously, the dance floor was never empty and our guests didn’t want the party to end. His setup is super cool and he had amazing up-lighting for the space. We had also asked DJ John to record the dance set so we could relive the music of our party which he was happy to do. We have been listening to it in the weeks following the wedding and it brings such a smile to our faces. He hit the marks with all of our “moment” songs (first dance, mother/son dances) and was happy to coordinate a surprise dance and speech in recognition of my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. Do yourself a favor and check out DJ John’s mixes online and hire him for your next event.

  Best DJ Ever!

  DJ John made our wedding unforgettable. From the very beginning, John was receptive to our questions, took the time talk with us whenever he needed it and provided an absolutely amazing experience at our wedding. With John, we really felt like he listened to what we wanted and took that to heart all while putting a creative spin on it. Having only spoken to John on the phone, we were a little anxious on our wedding day but he made it easy by greeting us at the venue with a big smile and hug which immediately put as at ease. Our venue in Stinson Beach was challenging to work at, but that didn't deter John. In fact, our wedding coordinator told us that he showed up in the morning (for a ceremony that began at 3:30 PM to make sure everything was seamless. We highly recomend DJ John to anyone looking for someone who will make your big day go off without a hitch. Thank you John for making this day we will never forget!

  Kept the party going!

  John was simply the BEST vendor to work with for our wedding. Incredibly thorough, amazing follow up and follow through, and definitely takes care of his clients. I have never had to hire a DJ before and therefore not sure what to expect. John scheduled an initial phone meeting to discuss the basics and what our musical needs were. Being super into music, I already had compiled several playlists for the different portions of the day - ceremony, cocktail/dinner and dancing, and had our songs picked out for the important things like our walks down the aisle, first dance, cake, etc - I loved his appreciation for all the work I’d already done! Thinking we didn’t need to do anything else, I was surprised at how many more times we connected throughout the process! He wanted to discuss details about the timeline, as well as what announcements he will be making and how to pronounce the names of everyone in our wedding party. He also facilitated our shoe game and did a fantastic job asking the questions in a fun way! In addition to music, he set up our logo with a gobo projector, provided uplighting that really transformed the room AND created a kick-ass slideshow of the pictures we sent over to have rolling in the background during our reception. John absolutely went above and beyond with everything related to our big day. Not to mention he had everyone dancing the whole night! I wish I had another event so I could hire him again. I highly HIGHLY recommend DJ John Piazzzaaaaa!!

  I could not have picked a better DJ and company to work with for my San Francisco wedding. DJ John was great at communicating before the event, and working with me to finalize my timeline and request lists. He is very professional, and an amazing DJ! Everything ran so smoothly at our wedding, and everyone had a blast! He provided music and sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
  
  While wedding planning, one of the main things I wanted to see was everyone grooving on that dance floor, and he definitely made that happen! When the dance floor is packed, as well as 15 feet around the dance floor, and you have all ages from 1 to 75 shaking it the entire time, you know you have an AMAZING DJ!! All of our guests have been raving for months about how great the music and dancing was! John was also great in sticking to the genre of music we had requested. He read the crowd so well!
  
  I had requested a few slow songs, and I was very impressed with how well John mixed them in, then got everyone back dancing again immediately after. No lulls at all the entire evening.
  
  He also did a really good job of prepping the speech givers and putting them at ease (letting them know how far away to hold the mic, etc.).
  
  John was also great with working with me on the lighting. I get migraine headaches, so I couldn't have any flashing lights. He kept them pointed down, and it kept up the fun vibe without causing any pain for me.
  
  It was really awesome how well all the vendors worked together, too. Very open communication with John and DJ Jeremy Productions. My expectations were definitely exceeded! It was really great working with John through the planning process. I appreciated all the insight and feedback that he offered. If I ever have an event in SF again that needs a DJ, John is first on my list!

  Pay ATTENTION. Yes, you! Bride OR groom OR whomever was put in charge of finding the wedding DJ, do I have your undivided attention? Good!
  
  I spent MONTHS looking for a DJ that actually knew how to mix songs without scratching every five seconds, leaving huge gaps between songs, being a complete cheese ball, or making you want to sit down vs get up and dance (after all, dancing is the point, right?). You want to know what happened with DJ John Piazza? Our wedding reception was OFF THE HOOK. No, really. People are still talking about it. At the end of the night, guests (and myself - the bride) were wearing ties around our foreheads, pop and lockin', and even doing moves I did not know existed. It literally looked like a profresh dance-off (well, at least I think so). The pictures - of our wedding reception dance CLUB (because that's what it felt like) - phenomenal. Granted some facial expressions should never be caught on film, but hey, all in good fun.
  
  So, if you want a memorable, amazing, FUN reception - get DJ John Piazza. Like right now. You wont regret it. I should also mention that he transitions from the classics (silver-hair fox friendly) to the new stuff (wild and crazy) throughout the night. Basically, there was music for all ages and an opportunity for everyone to dance including my 50+ soon-to-be uncle who was on CRUTCHES couldn't resist gettin' groovy on the dance floor. Yeah, DJ John is THAT good.
  
  Guess what? If you need someone to make a rockin' reception timeline - he's your guy. And was even able to make on the spot changes when I busted my HIP while dancing.. oops.
  
  My wedding was on November 3rd, 2012 in Yosemite National Park - for all those making sure I'm not a friend of John's. Although, you can bet we're friends now. THANKS JOHN for an amazing reception.. oh and for sneaking Skrillex into our reception music - VERY successfully :D
