Absolutely musically amazing!!!
Chris was absolutely amazing!!! I can’t tell you how many of our wedding guests told us they have never heard a DJ quite like him. He was able to get every single person out on the dance floor. We had every type of genre you can thing of; 70’s rock, 90s R&B, country, Disco..you name it, it was played! He was extremely professional and just awesome to work with! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for a DJ. Heck, I can’t wait to renew our vows so we can hire him again!Chris was absolutely amazing!!! We had such an amazing experience with Chris Kopec at our wedding, He helped to keep everything on time, flowing well, offered great advice with timing of events and what to include and what not to include. Most of all he kept the party alive, read the crowd really well and our dance floor was packed the entire time playing a wide range of music (we requested everything from country to Hip Hop and classic rock). Everyone had a wonderful time and we had received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was, a large part of that due to Chris, his enthusiasm, awesome choice of music and incredible entertaining skills!We had such an amazing experience with Chris Kopec at our wedding, He helped to keep everything on time, flowing well, offered great advice with timing of events and what to include and what not to include. I had never planned a party before planning my own wedding, so I really had no idea how important it is to have a good DJ. In the days prior to the wedding, I gave DJ Kopec very little musical direction, because I really wasn't too sure what to expect. Many of the guests were family members and I wasn't too sure whether or not guests would do a lot of dancing. Boy, was I wrong.
During dinner, we asked DJ Kopec to play a mix between Coldplay and U2, along with any other musical selections he thought fit within that category. I remember seeing people swaying to the music as the salad was being served, and I could just tell that this was the beginning of an all-night dance party.
We did not have a typical wedding reception - there was no bridal party entrance, no introductions, no first dance, no cutting of the cake - we just wanted to have a good ole' party. So while there were a few things that we had planned not to do, there were even fewer things that we had actually planned to do. Instead of having a game plan, DJ Kopec read the crowd and played music according to what he saw. There were very few moments throughout the evening where the dance floor was less than 3/4 full. It was absolutely perfect.
So, let's say I learned my lesson about how important the music at a wedding is from DJ Kopec. DJ Kopec is one of the reasons guests are still raving about our wedding. As one guest said to me "your wedding was the greatest dance party I have ever been to." Another guest noted, "I don't think I ever stepped off the dance floor."

From the first time I met and heard DJ Kopec, I knew there was no way my wedding would take place without him present! Given that high energy, fun, dance music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, we knew Chris would make this happen. We wanted our guests on the dance floor all night, partying, and having a great time, which is exactly what happened! Chris is professional, innovative, fun, easy going, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He made sure every song we asked to be played was played, understood our vision and ideal vibe, and prepared an incredible set list from the moment the first guest walked in until the last left. We love remixes and when we shared this with Chris, he took it upon himself to make sure he added some really cool versions of many songs to our evening. Our wedding was two weeks ago and we're still receiving emails, texts, and comments from our guests about how incredible the DJ was and how much the music contributed to the overall feeling in the room and truly made the wedding! He's the real deal! He knows his music, is in the know of what's trendy and new, and is the total opposite of your typical, cheesy DJ who would play your predictable wedding playlist. Chris genuinely cares about making your night the way you want it. He's the only DJ I'd ever recommend, and certainly the only DJ I'd ever hire for any future event of mine! DJ Kopec did our wedding on 6/26/15 and was absolutely phenomenal! We had a brief dialogue and some e-mail exchanges in the weeks leading up to our wedding so he could get some key songs down (first dances, etc) and a feel for us and our crowd and we let him run with the rest. The result was a packed dance floor and non stop dancing from start to finish. Every one of our friends who we spoke to said how much fun they had and how great the music was. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with him. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if your group likes to dance like ours does!DJ Kopec did our wedding on 6/26/15 and was absolutely phenomenal! The most consistent takeaway from our wedding (besides the bride looking beautiful, of course) was that our DJ was incredible. We heard this all night and continue to hear it from our guests. As soon as the food plates were taken from the tables, Kopec sensed the crowd was ready to go so he asked if we were alright with skipping the slow momentum-building stuff and go right into dance music. He was right, the crowd got right on the floor and continued dancing until the very last song of the night. I strongly believe that music can make or break a wedding and dictate how the night unfolds for guests, so I had high expectations for my DJ but Kopec completely exceeded those expectations. My wife and I had seen Chris at a wedding 2 years ago and knew he was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. It wasn't until our reception before I remembered what made me book him...he starts, picks up, and drives the party all night long. Our dance floor was packed full the entire time and I only saw people sitting down to rest.
Chris played every song on the must-play list and improvised with a great matching style of what I had recommended. I cannot say enough great things about DJ Kopec. He sets the stage for a romantic and elegant evening with Sinatra and Buble during the cocktail hour and dinner. His skills and professionalism keeps the reception activities organized and when it is time to get this party going he is able to read the crowd and provide the music that keeps the dance floor hopping. When I told guests we were using the same DJ as my first daughter's wedding they were excited and happy knowing we were going to dance into the night. Thanks Chris for making wedding dreams come true. I wish I had another daughter so we could do this again. Many thanks!!!!I cannot say enough great things about DJ Kopec. I would, 100%, recommend DJ Kopec for a wedding (or any other celebration that requires a DJ). If you are considering him for your wedding, do yourselves a service and stop looking elsewhere.
The DJ Kopec team did a FANTASTIC job on the day of our wedding and Chris was terrific consultant leading up to it. DJ Kopec seamlessly provided the music for all portions of our big day - guest arrival, processional, recessional, cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception (even though the different segments occurred in multiple venues). The guy even helped our reception venue light the room exactly how we envisioned it! In additon to the DJ-ing, Chris was a very entertaining Master of Ceremony for all of the formalities. The entire team, especialy Chris, was very enthusiastic and energetic without being overly cheesy some wedding DJ's I've seen in the past. If you want a class-act, this is your DJ.
Chris and his team exceeded our highest expectations at the reception. EVERYBODY (even older guests) made it to the dance floor. Chris provided us with the post-dinner party that everyone wants at their wedding celebration. With the mix of music he played, there were no wallflowers. It was perfect!
We also REALLY appreciated his approach to planning. Because of Chris's professional DJ engagements outside of the wedding arena (Under Armour, Ravens, Redskins, etc), he has a VERY consultative approach leading up to the event to ensure everything is perfect. He honed in on our preferences and ensured he was focusing on what was important to us, but he also was able to make suggestions around great songs/artists, the flow of the evening, and other details that we might not have thought of otherwise. It was a best-in-class level of service and his attentiveness definitely showed on the wedding day.
All-in-all, I'll recomend DJ Kopec to any friend getting married in the future. He's a true professional (not just a hobby DJ) and a master at his craft. A+++I would, 100%, recommend DJ Kopec for a wedding (or any other celebration that requires a DJ). If you are considering him for your wedding, do yourselves a service and stop looking elsewhere.

Chris was incredible to work with! Hiring an experienced DJ was important to us because we knew that music can either make or break a wedding--well Chris Kopec definitely MADE our wedding! The dance floor was packed all night long and he did an incredible job the entire evening. He was responsive and cooperated with all our requests (there were many)! He also brought 14 uplights with him that really helped to create an amazing ambiance in the room. I would highly recommend DJ Kopec to any brides looking for a DJ in the Maryland area!! The music was so perfect - he hit all the popular wedding songs and mixed in current music that kept everyone dancing the entire reception! If music and a reception full of dancing is important to you, then you can't go wrong with DJ Kopec! Rumor has it that our wedding was "hands down the greatest wedding ever" and I have to give all of the credit to Chris Kopec! The dance floor was packed before we finished dinner and remained that way through the very last song of the night!! I have never seen a crowd so diverse in age dance TOGETHER for an entire evening! We have Chris to thank for the wedding of our dreams.
Chris isn't only an amazing DJ, he provided us with a wedding day timeline that saved this unorganized girl's life:). Without that, I have no idea how I would have planned the day!!! I would have missed so many small details that really made the night! Chris was always readily available and his patience and creativety made him a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't change a thing.... Except for maybe the length of the reception:)Rumor has it that our wedding was "hands down the greatest wedding ever" and I have to give all of the credit to Chris Kopec! The dance floor was packed before we finished dinner and remained that way through the very last song of the night!! I have never seen a crowd so diverse in age dance TOGETHER for an entire evening! We have Chris to thank for the wedding of our dreams.

Best DJ ever! I swear it! Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did he have great ideas and suggestions, but his energy at our reception was simply contagious! Everyone (all different ages) was dancing the entire time!! At the end of the reception, people wanted to keep dancing so Chris played a 30 minute encore!! It was amazing!! We LOVE CHRIS! He was recommend to us by SEVERAL PEOPLE and we know why! Chris provided a fantastic mix of music (not cheesy what-so-ever) and our guests had a BLAST! He kept everyone on the dance floor..a MUST for a fun wedding! He had great suggestions for music selection and we left the rest to him! He is a professional! Chris met with us and provided constant email/phone contact with any questions. He also provided excellent lighting! I would HIGHLY recommend Chris to anyone! From the start, he customized our wedding by recommending music for a modern ceremony and was always easy to contact with any questions along the way. We met a few days before our wedding and finalized our music choices and planned the flow of the reception. With that being said, it rained on our wedding day, but Chris did not let us down. We gave him some vague direction on music to play during our cocktail hour; "New Orleans Jazz Band" type music, he asked for more specifics and we couldn't really deliver, but he did. When we walked into cocktail hour the music that was playing was just what we were thinking about it. From that point on it was smooth sailing. We danced and had a blast. He played music for everyone. It was a great night, I would not change a thing about it! Best night and we had the best DJ! Music makes or breaks the wedding and all 150 people were on the dance floor all night!
