So much fun and provided awesome music!

DJZ Productions provided some lit music for our wedding! They played a good mix of genres that everyone enjoyed and kept everyone dancing on the dance floor all night! They also provided awesome lighting that made our reception room look amazing! Thank you Dzien and the DJZ Productions team!

So happy we went with DJZ!

So happy with DJZ Productions DJ, MC, lighting, and dancefloor!

For our wedding, we requested Kevin as our DJ and Joe as our MC and we are so happy with our pairing!!

Kevin tailored the playlist based on our genre suggestions and put it all together so perfectly. He knows to watch the crowd and work the music to keep the energy up the entire night! Guests are still talking about how great the music was and our engaged friends keep asking about our music. We had so much fun with Kevin, he was so energetic, always had a huge smile on his face, played so many encores, our guests all loved him!

Joe was amazing at MCing our wedding! He killed it with the Vietnamese crowd too! Our guests were blown away by his ability to seamlessly transition between English and Vietnamese. He was so engaging, which seems to lack with other MCs. He's charismatic, charming and overall a genuine guy, which comes through naturally when he speaks. He checked in with us frequently to make sure we were having a good time and ensured that we stayed on schedule. He somehow made us feel safe, and it's a nice, nurturing feeling to have amidst the craze!

Dancefloor and lighting-
DJZ also offers dancefloors. With the all white dancefloor, it looked like we were dancing on ice!

Dzien is so talented when it comes to lighting too!! Our venue came with practically nothing. He laid out the lighting design for our space and made it look so beautiful! He completely transformed our blank space, beyond anything we expected!

Seriously could not be happier with the team at DJZ! We've been to many weddings, and I've bridesmaided more weddings than I can count, and DJZ is by far the best in the business!!

Could not have been better!

Dzien was great from start to finish. He provided great guidance and real advice throughout the process. I honestly don't know how he managed to figure out what the right songs to play with the input we were providing him (which was all over the place).

He provided DJ, MC, and lighting services.

Pros
- very professional and responsive
- provided tactical feedback (instead of the "it depends on what you want" response that you tend to get when trying to get advice)
- spent the time to prepare (we had guest names that were hard to pronounce and he announced them flawlessly; he took the time to understand our event schedule to make sure he could maximize the guest experience)
- worked through the nuances/last minute changes well
- was calm and composed the entire day/night

Cons
- absolutely none

I didn't really look into other DJs & MCs to compare pricing, but I still think the value was well worth it. He made the day/night enjoyable for everyone - it is something that all eyes/ears are going to be on. I don't recommend anyone compromising on this part - it is so critical.

Our wedding guests complimented our day with having the best wedding music ever, which is saying a lot considering how many weddings I know they've been to!

Exceptional Wedding DJ Experience!

We had the pleasure of hiring DJZ for our wedding in Costa Mesa, and we couldn't be happier with the exceptional experience they provided. From start to finish, DJZ's professionalism, communication, and talent truly exceeded our expectations.

Throughout the entire planning process, DJZ was incredibly communicative, promptly responding to our inquiries and making sure every detail was taken care of. Their expertise and knowledge of music were evident as they made fantastic recommendations, helping us curate the perfect playlist that matched our style and preferences.

What a privilege it was for US, to be able to have the DJZ Production team host and take care of our wedding reception! We are so lucky we were able to work this incredible team and have them take care of our special day.

They were unbelievably professional and greatly exceeded all of our expectations!

I did not decorate the reception venue as much, but the lighting team easily covered that up for me with their amazing skills and no one was any wiser!

Dzien, himself, was amazing beyond anything I could have ever expected! Doing a bilingual wedding and flawlessly executing it, all while reading the crowd to keep up the excitement and enthusiasm all night is no easy feat, but Dzien, with his charismatic voice and personality kept the night flowing and fun the whole time! He gave us easy to follow instructions all throughout the night and was very attentive to not only us, but to every guest we had.

The music selection was better than anything I could have ever planned! They even snuck in some songs I thought would be impossible to include and it totally made my night!! They were very good at reading the guests' reactions to songs and knew how to keep the energy and hype up and what to play next!

Even before the wedding reception happened, Dzien and his team were most helpful and attentive in planning out what music was going to be played, how the lighting systems were going to work, and they even provided us with a handy planning guide to make the process easier!

All of our guests could not stop raving about how much fun our wedding reception was and what a good time they had, and it is truly thanks to DJZ Productions! It wouldn't have been a night I'd want to remember forever without them!

DJZ Productions team was more than we could ask for! My husband and I consider ourselves to have good taste in music, but when it came to planning our wedding reception, we are so happy to have Dzien and team lead the way! They were very professional, down to earth, and awesome guys! From our phone conversations to face to face meetings, Dzien listened to our preferences and styles and made them even better. His team of Derek and Noel were amazing on our wedding day and the guests raved about the great music and energy.

And I have to give 100000 compliments to the hedge wall that DJZ provided for us as a backdrop to our seating chart. It was the most gorgeous piece we had at the reception and we loved it (as did our guests with their many photo-ops).

Meeting Dzien was one of the best things that happened for our dream wedding. When i was lost, he sincerely offered his help and advice. Just after chatting with him, i could tell he had so much experience and knowledge - plus he was already familiar with our venue. This was when i knew for sure, i was talking to the right person.

DjZ Productions provided a Dj, bilingual emcee, complete ballroom custom draping, lighting effects, and an extended white dance floor with cloud effects and a custom decal logo to complete our wedding.

While working with Dzien throughout the process, he was very organized and provided all the information we needed. This made everything clear. At our initial meeting, he showed us examples of his products and services at the studio. When i saw how the lighting effects on the custom draping could coordinate with the music, that drew me in! At our next meeting, DjZ Productions went over a detailed worksheet guide with us which was super helpful in planning our wedding!

The day of our wedding came and everything was executed as discussed! The whole thing was just perfect from the clean cut professional bilingual emcee to every song played by the Dj. I feel so fortunate to have crossed paths with Dzien. He is an exceptionally nice, genuine and generous person to work with. He truly cares about making your event look good. I would recommend DjZ Productions 200%

Thank you for working extra hard on our once in a lifetime wedding and putting together a dream ballroom for all to remember and cherish. For that, we are forever grateful

If you go with any DJ for your special day, go with DJZ productions. I took my time in writing out a review for them, as I wanted to make sure that it was a proper one.

You cannot find better than this group. They are professional, organized and helpful.

First, they know events inside and out, they come prepared with various music sets, and recommendations for your party. They are aware of the typical flow of weddings and can really help you prepare for what you have in store. You do not have many chances to get your wedding day right, and they make sure that it is perfect. They meet with you to organize each step, so that you can get the proper flow. They knew the venue, recommended the perfect amount of lighting, and made even the planning process fun.

Second, our day of DJ and MC were amazing. They were able to work on the fly, and made sure that my wife and I had no worries during our reception. There are so many things that can go wrong during a wedding, but Dean and Phu were on top of it all. They made sure that everyone was dancing, that we had pins for our money dance, and even made sure that the gifts were secure.

I wish I could more accurately express how much fun they brought to the party. But I can say this. Hire DJZ, and not only will they bring fun to your party, they will actually help to make the planning process that much easier.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? My husband (wow, that sounds weird) and I could not be any happier with DJZ productions. Both our English and Vietnamese speaking guests were totally impressed by MC Ryan and DJ Noel, including our mothers and it doesn't get any tougher than that. Guests young and old were commenting on how talented Ryan was, and how he went back and forth between both languages effortlessly. the adults were especially impressed and that's no easy feat! Ryan paid so much attention to detail and called us both days before the wedding to make sure he had the right pronunciation of our family members' names for the introductions. He even talked directly to my mom and of course, she had last minute adds and changes and Ryan graciously accommodated all her requests. We had a wide variety of guests in terms of age and ethnicity and Ryan was able to engage them all, which was really important to us as we wanted all of our guests to have a great time.

The other half of our dream team was Noel and his DJ skills made me wish we could dance until past closing time. Being the bridezilla that I am, I gave him a long list of songs to play at certain parts of the nite, as well as changes as last minute as the day of the wedding. He accommodated all of them with a great attitude. My husband and I even broke out into spontaneous dancing at one point in front of the sweetheart table when I heard one of my favorite songs =). I'm actually listening to some of those songs as I write this, exactly 3 weeks from the day of our wedding and wishing we could do it all over again. We were blessed to have a truly unforgettable nite and DJ Noel and Ryan were a tremendous part of that. thank you Noel and Ryan! We've been continuously receiving compliments since our wedding day and we can't thank you enough. And a big thank you to Dzien for all your guidance, responsiveness and awesome attitude during the planning process.

If you looking for a very enthusiastic MC and a very musically savvy DJ, look no further than DJZ Productions. We had Phu as our MC and Noel as our DJ. They met us along with Dzien (owner) and Kevin (lighting specialist). The whole squad are freaking rockstars. They abide to your list, they make edits on the songs that you like, and they on the dancefloor, they were able to mash up Journey on our must play list with some really cool beats to blend in with our 90's r&b vibe with our edm love. Price is solid, their lights are awesome, but they personally take the time to know you and feel out your style. I would never want to get married again, once is enough, but if my wife and i had to do it again, we would still go with DJZ Productions. The best in the game, you might as well call them Chef Curry.

not even sure its necessary to review this company, everyone knows theyre THE best!

We got DJZ himself, a must for me- i booked him a year in advance to ensure it. and my foresight paid off. He is so great at what he does. We honestly didnt touch base with him that much, one meeting to nail down the details. He made amazing recomendations and edited our first dance song exactly as I had asked. Additionaly, my dad asked to email Dzien separately so that our dance song would be a surprise and he was so accomodating, my dad just loved him and how great he was to interact with.

His MC skills are flawless too- so fun, so funny, commanding and yet it never felt like he was demanding the attention like some MCs, it was subtle and everyone just wanted to listen to him. Everything went seamlessly.

Also, all the music was perfect! from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing he had different vibes, each exactly as we wanted and just totally nailed our taste in music while feeling out the crowd to keep them into it too. lastly, he legit abides by your "do not play" list- even though it meant denying repeat requests from people- THANK YOU for not playing the cupid shuffle ;)

We have had several guests reach out to us since to either compliment him or to ask for his contact information so they could book him or tell their family/friends to book him!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! DJZ Productions is completely professional and are on top of things. The meet up with the team two weeks prior to our wedding really gave my husband and I a peace of mind that we are in good hands. We would sit for about 1-2 hours just going through a timeline of events and how things would transpire the day of our wedding. These guys really do their homework!

As for the big day, WOW! We had Phu as our MC and Noel as our DJ. Noel played everything we had requested and played it at the right time! It was awesome. As for Phu, this guy really knows how to get the crowd going. From beginning to the end, he really kept the crowd engaged and there was never a dull moment. Phu is very quick to improvise when he feels that he needs to regather the crowds’ attention to have them focus on the bride the groom. He’d give very important 5 minute warnings to my husband so that he does not get too carried away (to the bar drinking with his guests) so that my husband would be ready the next sequence of events (table greeting, mother/son dance etc). The night just had a very nice flow and we never felt rushed.

We would recommend the whole DJZ Production to anybody who is looking for a fun/hip MC/DJ who can hype up the crowd. They are also bilingual and that is a huge plus to honor some of the older generations. Our guests received Phu and the DJ well, and already some are asking for this teams contact for their big day! Awesome job guys, definitely money well spent on our side!

Thanks to DJZ Productions, my husband and I had the best time at our reception, and our guests did too. Dzien and his team (Phu and Kevin) did an amazing job at planning and execution. Everything from song choice to lighting to games was taken care of, and because of this, we didn't have to worry about a thing when the wedding day came. We were blown away at how much fun our guests had and still to this day continue to hear about what a great job Kevin did with the song mix, and how well-planned the flow of the evening went. We debated going with the hotel lighting for our event, but were so glad we decided to go with DJZ's as well: the lighting was interactive and really helped contribute to the mood and tone for the night. If we could get married again, we would, and we would definitely go with DJZ!

I don't think my 5 star review can justify how much we LOVED working with DJ Z! The music was on point!! We asked for a wedding that was essentially a 90's/00's throw back with a mix of newer stuff and our guests were loving every minute of it. We hired DJZ productions for our wedding to DJ, emcee, and do lighting. They were AMAZING and completely exceeded our expectations. Dzien, Huy, and Kevin are extremely professional, personable, supportive, and talented at what they do. The entire process was very thorough and thoughtful. We were given multiple designs to choose from for our lighting and gobo, they prepared us with a suggested song list for every moment of the night, provided consultation on song advice and even created their own mashups to make sure both my fiancé and my personal tastes were met. They don't hesitate in going the extra mile. Our emcee Huy was also our officiant and he was the BEST! He exudes positive energy, always has a genuine smile on his face, and was a big hit with our friends and family. Totally recommend DJZ productions!!!

I knew we made the right decision 5 mins after meeting Dzien. He was professional, funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and visionary. What really sold me though, were the 85C treats he got us. How did he know we were 85C junkies? This gesture was the first of many examples of how client-centered and detail-oriented Dzien is. My wife and I worked with Dzien 2.5 weeks ago at the Hyatt in Newport Beach and we couldn't feel luckier to have him as a part of our wedding.

MUSIC: Amazing. We just told Dzien the music artists we listened to and he did the rest. The whole night I had so many compliments from friends and family on the great selection of music. He had everyone dancing (including he older Vietnamese folks!) from beginning to end. I love the mix of old school/top 40 hiphop mixed in with EDM. And the last song...omg..he had the whole dance floor singing at the top of their lungs. I haven't had this much fun in a while.

DJ: He kept the energy up and the guests entertained. Our families definitely appreciated his fluent Vietnamese and ability to translate on the fly. He has a lot of creative games to play during the wedding. He also has this nice agenda that outlines the whole night and what songs will be played when. Oh yeah, he even helped us out with a surprise dance mix that we wanted to do after our first dance.

LIGHTING: Of all things on the wedding list, lighting was the most important for me. Lighting transforms the room and sets the mood. Dzien nailed it. We had beautiful pinspot lighting for every table and uplighting all around. Again, we didn't have to tell him much. He was able to pick up on our vision very fast. Dzien has a natural eye for aesthetics.

DJZ Productions brought on the WOW factor for our Saturday, June 28th, 2014 wedding at Soka University in Aliso Viejo, CA! The very same weekend, Dzien and his crew had four other weddings that they were working on but we were so lucky that Dzien was at our wedding. Dzien was our MC, DJ and provided lighting and drapery for us.

MC: It was important for us to hire an MC that is bilingual in English and Dzien nailed it. He is fluent in both languages and made our culturally diverse wedding guests feel comfortable.

DJ: The music was amazing. He did an excellent job switching up the music if he felt the energy from the dance floor start to fade away. We also had many of our friends comment on how much they danced and they haven’t danced that much at any wedding before. The song selections were just too cool.

Lighting: I was floored when I saw our reception setup. Dzien’s crew just completely transformed the space we had rented and couldn’t have imagined that it would look THAT GREAT. It was beautiful! Dzien also added more uplights than what he told us originally. He is a perfectionist and did it to make our reception look amazing. I was in love!

Drapery: The draping he uses isn’t the stiff organza that I’m used to seeing. He created a beautiful, soft, backdrop for us. There was an issue with an eyesore in our backdrop but DJZ took care of it and now we don’t have to stare at it in our pictures.

The process leading up to the wedding with Dzien was seamless too. Dzien seized the opportunity to really get to know us and asked us poignant questions that no other vendor asked us. It caught all of us off-guard but we were really impressed.

Please do yourself the favor and have Dzien at your wedding. He is fun, charming and knows his craft very well! We definitely recommend Dzien for your wedding/party and will continue to do so until he decides to retire.

DJZ Productions is hands down the best. My husband and I worked with Dzien and his team for our wedding this past August at the Nixon Library. We were lucky enough to experience his work during my sister's wedding in 2013. After that, I knew we had to book him for our own.

DJ - Dzien provided us with wedding homework a few weeks prior to the big day. We broke down songs we wanted for each portion of the ceremony/reception and talked through all of it during our Skype meeting (we live in San Jose). He got a great feel of what we liked and didn't like and played the best music. Our friends loved all the music and had zero complaints.

MC - Dzien is fluent in Vietnamese so he pronounced our family names perfect. He's witty and knows how to keep the guests engagaged. Our friends talk about the scavenger hunt/musical chairs game, til this day.

Lighting - They did amazing lighting for our ball room at the Nixon Library. The team has worked at this venue before, so I trusted their suggestion on lighting and loved my BOGO lights.

In a nutshell, DJZ Productions is the way to go. Music and MC is so important at weddings, and you can't go wrong with these guys.

Wow! Our wedding went off without a hitch and we owe it to professionals like DJZ Productions! We hired DJZ as our DJ/MC and to provide the lighting on a recommendation from a friend who is also in the wedding industry. We’re so glad we did. Dzien and his crew were professional and fun throughout the entire process. When it came to the music selection, Dzien incorporated many of our recommendations into his artful selection of songs. He was able to get everyone out on the dance floor, from kids to the parents. Dzien is bilingual, which helped to include many of our Vietnamese speaking guests in the activities. The lighting they provided was more beautiful than expected. We made a last minute request for glow lights, and Dzien was able to supply it even with the short turn-around time. We’ve received a lot of great feedback from our friends and family and the most common comment we’re hearing is “I’ve never been to a wedding that was that much fun”. My wife and I decided to hire DJZ based on a strong recommendation from a family member, who had also hired DJZ for her wedding. The DJ can make or break your reception so we really wanted to make sure we had an emcee who would crush it. Needless to say, he surpassed the already high expectations that we had as we received countless compliments throughout the night and in the following days about how awesome he was.

In addition to providing excellent emcee and DJ services, we also used DJZ for lighting, and we couldn't have been more happy with how it was executed. Lighting is one of those things that people generally have second thoughts about (I being one of them), but we're very happy with the results as it really set the tone and vibe of the night.

If you're looking for someone who can leave you completely stress free so you can enjoy your night, accommodate your many needs and questions, offer great suggestions to ensure an awesome evening, and of course, get people on the dance floor, look no further than Dzien. He's extremely professional to work with, and knowledgeable about all the details that make or break a reception. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I decided to go with DJZ productions after seeing them at work at my uncle's wedding. We could not be more happier with our choice with this team. They did an awesome job on everything they offered which was dj, emcee, and lighting. We love the fact that our emcee Dzien can speak both English and Vietnamese fluently which is rare to find in this industry. Dzien and his team attentiveness to our needs and professionalism helped things moved smoothly through the night. LOVED THE MUSIC that was put together for the night. I would highly recommend DJZ Productions! =)

A heartfelt thank you to Dzien and the entire DJZ Productions for an incredible wedding ! The quality of service was outstanding and Dziens attention to detail was remarkable . He spent 2 hours with us perfecting our wedding timeline , making sure everything was on point . His entire crew including Kevin were both professional , respectful and down to earth ! Felt very much like working with family . We couldn't have found a better value for what we got at our wedding ! The pins pots , up lighting , wall washes ... We're beyond spectacular . Flexibility , 5/5 stars . My fiancé & I live in NYC , and the time chance made no difference , Dzien was quick to respond to call calls and emails . By far & hands down , DJ Z productions provided us with an amazing wedding ( and had 93 yr old grandmas on the dance floor all night) ! Thank you for being such a huge part of our special day !
