  Great energy for diverse crowds

  DJ Cuban was the dancefloor DJ for our wedding, and my wife and I were extremely impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness prior to our wedding, as well as his ability to read the dancefloor and keep the energy going during the day of the event. We're a mixed-race couple (I'm white, my wife is Latina), so the wedding was also a fairly mixed crowd, but Michael had no trouble finding music that kept the crowd engaged and pumped up, and the dance floor was always a lively place. We also had a choreographed First Dance and some other choreographed pieces, and Michael carefully edited our music selections and met with us in-person to discuss how to sync the tracks to our movements. Ultimately, a key factor in the successful execution of our wedding was Michael's ability to translate our asks in the DJ booth, and his shared commitment to fulfilling our vision.

  Amazing dj

  Michael was so flexible, knowledgeable about a variety of Latin music ,and made our wedding party incredibly fun. The music selection was a perfect fit for multiple guest ages ranges - there wasn't a single moment all night the dance floor was even close to empty. THANK YOU MICHAEL!!! You made the party incredibly memorable for everyone. :D

  Music Master!

  What a vibe! DJ Cuban understood the assignment! I said I wanted dance music going all night and DJ Cuban delivered in spades. I come from a Hispanic background and my husband is American, so I wanted there to be an equal representation of Spanish music just as much as English music. DJ Cuban did exactly that! I was incredibly pleased with his DJ skills in addition to how professional, friendly, detailed, and timely everything was. He also referred me to the Photo booth vendor, Dan, Who was a pleasure to work with as well. A++++

  So good our family asked him to stay!

  Michael’s customer service and professionalism while planning our wedding were second to none.
  
  First, his website makes it very easy to pick what songs you want to be played and his questions during the consultation help to set the vibe you are going for. We felt so much relief after speaking with him that our wedding was going to go smoothly.
  
  Second, his flexibility to keep everything appearing on track when our wedding schedule got behind helped everyone to enjoy themselves with no stress.
  
  Finally, once the dancing started, Michael was able to get and keep everyone on the dance floor the whole time. Worried that you won’t be able to keep your English speaking family with your new Peruvian family happy with music? Michael has you taken care of. Everyone including my dad who nobody has ever seen dance, my wife and I’s 11 nieces and nephews, and my 86 year old Grandpa got on the floor and had a blast. My family enjoyed him so much, that without our knowledge, they paid for his extra hour which is an excellent service in case you want to keep the party going.
  
  Our guests also had a lot of fun at the photo booth, which included many fun props. It allows for print outs and for pictures to be sent directly to anyone as phone via text. Super fun and convenient!

  Dream Wedding DJ!

  We had our wedding on October 9th, 2021. It was a postponed date from our original 10/10/2020 date, but as we all know, COVID had other plans. From the very beginning of the postponement process, Michael, AKA DJ CUBAN, was an absolute allstar to work with. He was professional, compassionate, patient, and understanding every step of the way. His calm and collected demeanor never faltered even with all the curveballs my husband and I threw at him. Planning a postponed wedding through a pandemic was no easy process. All the decisions and last minute changes were exhausting and overwhelming. However, anytime we needed to communicate with Michael, my husband and I would breathe a sigh of relief, look at each other and say, “man, I am so glad we chose him”. He understands the process. He knows the hard work, challenges, and personalization that goes into planning such an important event, and he was there for it, for all of it. Michael was gracious and intuitive as we navigated plans for a bilingual reception. Michael’s native Spanish was a big factor in why we chose his services for our wedding day - my family is Brazilian and my husband’s is Puerto Rican so, it was important for us to honor both our cultures and home languages. Looking at the totality of the planning process and Michael’s work, it is so clear that regardless of your musical preference, cultural or language background, DJ Cuban is able to meet you and your fiancé’s needs, however personalized they may be, and this is what made all the difference for us. It felt as if Michael was our personal DJ, trained, prepared, and invested in us, personally as a couple, and the needs of our family and guests. It was so important to hear both traditional Puerto Rican and Brazilian music during our reception, and of course we gave Michael a few tracks and genres as a guide, but then we stepped back, trusted his expertise, and let him take the lead from there, a boy did he deliver. Not only did he play both Puerto Rican and Brazilian music, but he played the CLASSICS. He nailed every selection as if he read both of our minds. Our dance floor was POPPIN! The way Michael seamlessly transitioned between genres and made sure to incorporate all the bops from the 90s and early 2000s (shout out to our fellow 90s babies), kept our guests tearing up the dance floor the WHOLE NIGHT. I got more, “your DJ is amazing” comments than any other comment throughout the night. The energy in our reception tent was exactly what I had always dreamt it would be for my wedding. I am notoriously picky and extremely detail oriented - needless to say, I am a tough critic and tough to please when it comes to hosting an event. Michael gave us everything and more. There is not a thing I would change from our wedding day or Michael’s services. It was incredible to watch as Michael elevated and maintained the party atmosphere, dancing along, and singing along to each song he played. Then when a guest walked up to request a song, he would lower his headphones, smile so politely, and softly say, “of course I can play that”. This was the greatest indication of Michael’s professionalism during the night. As we’ve all experienced, many DJs get visibly irritated when you make a song request. They can make you feel awkward for even asking and that can totally kill a guest’s party vibe. DJ Cuban honored mine and my husband’s requests, and those of our guests with such grace and enthusiasm - there was nothing more we could have asked for from him.
  
  If your desire is to have a ceremony and reception atmosphere that feels intimate, personal, and memorable, then DJ Cuban is your guy. We cannot say enough about his skill, his professionalism, and his integrity. He gave us the party of our dreams and for that, we will forever be grateful. Our biggest priority for the wedding was to have as much dancing as possible and he definitely kept the crowd on the dance floor the whole night. Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with. From pre-wedding planning calls to his very organized online portal, making our playlists and talking through the details of the wedding was a breeze.   As soon as my husband and I started to plan our wedding, we immediately new Michael would be our DJ. We were fortunate to know Michael personally and experience his shows before getting engaged, and he surpassed all of our expectations. Michael was great to work with, very hands on and involved in the entire process. He helped us set up a time line, provided suggestions and feedback for music selections, and made sure we were happy and completely prepared before the big day. We hired Michael for both our ceremony and reception music and are so glad we did. He blended and timed the ceremony music perfectly, provided lapel mics so our vows could be heard clearly. He kept the flow going throughout the reception with perfectly timed music and energy to the very end. We are very grateful to have worked with Michael and would without a doubt work with him again in the future! Great music is one of the key parts to a fun wedding and Michael surpassed all of our expectations!

  We are so grateful we hired DJ Cuban & you will be too!

  He helped to make our wedding SO.MUCH.FUN! All of our guests made memories to last a lifetime! We 100% recommend him for your wedding or special event! Not only does he have the perfect personality that’s both easy going AND energetic…. He was also impressively professional, organized, helpful, creative, and flexible from beginning to end!
  
  WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR:
  My husband and I were looking for a professional DJ who could work a loud crowd of Puerto Ricans and Italians, and play an even mix of music from various decades and genres (specifically: Salsa/Merengue, Reggheaton, Electro-dance pop, and R&B). We also needed a DJ that could work seamlessly with the professional Saxophone player we hired for the ceremony and dinner portion of the reception. Lastly, we wanted someone who was fun, organized, and professional.
  
  WHY WE CHOSE HIM:
  DJ Cuban checked all the boxes and many more! We were pleasantly surprised to discover he is even fluent in Spanish! That was such a bonus for our fusion wedding because he was able to speak in both English and Spanish so my family felt included and engaged the entire night. His set-up was clean, organized, and modern. It blended in perfectly with our venue - but also looked totally cool and festive when the party lights were turned on. The main reason we chose him was for the music and boy did he deliver!
  
  He did an incredible job of mixing genres and decades. Our ceremony was absolutely PERFECT and our reception was totally EPIC! All our guests, no matter their age, had a blast dancing all night long. From our sassy little 4 year old flower girl, to my disco king 70 year old father-in-law, and even to those guests who “DON’T DANCE!” - our dance floor was full from 9pm to 12am and our guests had the best time dancing, laughing, and bonding. Not only were we happy that our guests enjoyed themselves as much as we did, we were also ecstatic that most of our guests had stayed to do the Sparkler Send-Off. And we 100% attribute that to DJ Cuban! How could they leave, when they were having so much fun?!

  Fantastic Music and great crowd control

  Michael and his assistant were fantastic at our wedding. They got the crowd up and dancing and kept them dancing the whole night! He also helped us with our song selection and helped us craft and customize our first dance song. Thank you, guys!

  DJ Cuban was EXCEPTIONAL! He was extremely professional, responsive and played all of the songs that we chose within his super easy to use wedding song planner application. He made the day SO simple and seamless and I could not have imagined our day being any better. I HIGHLY recommend him if you want someone that can keep the party going, be dependable, and "set the mood" with his uplighting ;) Thank you DJ CUBAN!!!

  Ricardo was an amazing DJ and a very big part of what made our wedding amazing.   Ricardo was amazing! He was always so quick to respond, met with us 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. He definitely kept the party going thoughout the night and provided every single requested song. He was just truly amazing to work with from beginning to end! Highly recommended!

  DJ Romin was AMAZING. The dance floor at my wedding was packed the entire time. He did an incredible job of reading the crowd and blending the music so there weren't any awkward pauses between songs. Everyone at my wedding thought the music was fantastic and we all had a great time.

  As soon as I got engaged I knew that I wanted a bilingual DJ that could play awesome music both in English and Spanish and Micheal was the PERFECT pick. He is an outstanding DJ, very lively, funny, engaging, and just hands down amazing. Our guests still rave about our amazing wedding and how much fun they had dancing, I think my feet were covered in blisters from so much dancing! Micheal played all the right songs at the right time and he kept the party going until the end. He was also super kind to translate my sister's speech from SP to EN!!I am truly grateful that I found you by chance while looking at some pictures of a venue. I appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and professionalism at all times. I wish I could go back in time and relieve my wedding day and dance endlessly like I did!! I cannot thank you enough, Micheal.

  Mr. Michael Cruz is a FANTASTIC DJ!!!!!!!!!! Everyone had a wonderful time. He was very accommodating with the music selection, punctual, sets up on time and knows how to get people on the dance floor. He was super flexible with the events of the evening...especially considering we had discussed one things and the coordinator discussed another but they worked it out without so much as an issue. He went with the flow and I was so pleased with all of the music for the evening. I loved everything he played... One of my guests in particular spent the entire night dancing and he had a ball!   My husband and I cannot say enough great things about DJ Cuban aka Michael. He is fantastic!! He listened to exactly what we wanted, had a great variety and blend and had people on the dance floor even before our wedding party entered! We wanted a great time and he certainly delivered!! He had a great work up for the older crowd early on but then switched to current dance music like Pitbull and Rhianna, it was like being out for a night on the town! Our ENTIRE wedding was dancing until the very end! We loved our wedding and he made it so much fun! He also provided great uplighting for our wedding and was very reasonably priced.
