The ladies at Doll Me Up were fabulous. They made me and all my bridesmaids look fantastic. Laura, Amanda, and Raquel were also so fun to hang out with while they were doing our makeup and hair. These ladies are the best and I highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Monterey Area!

These girls are amazing! So caring and sensitive to my (bride) and my bridesmaids needs and wants. They have an amazing talent and amazing personality. I will be hiring them again for my sisters wedding this coming summer!

Laura did my hair and make-up for my wedding in Carmel, CA at the end of March.

I could not be happier with her services. Laura was professional, prompt, and SOOOO nice. She came to my families vacation rental and was not even remotely phased by all the family running around putting flowers together, etc for the wedding. I do not wear much make up nor wear my hair up much, so was nervous to get my make-up done, but she listened to exactly what I wanted (natural look) and delivered just that. I looked just like myself but really the best version of myself. She was able to create a hairstyle that was exactly what I wanted based on several photographs. I received tons of compliments from wedding guests and from my groom, and felt beautiful. My hair and make-up held up all day despite an outdoor wedding on a breezy day.

Finally, the price was very competitive. I appreciated that Laura did not insist on a trial session, which was not in my budget or schedule!

If I could give Laura 10 stars I would. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amanda and Laura were amazing to work with from start to finish. They were responsive to my initial email inquiries and then throughout the whole process. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. The day of, they did a great job on hair and makeup with all of my bridesmaid, moms, sisters, and of course me. The look I went for was Hollywood glam, and Amanda nailed it. I received so many compliments and felt like a movie star. I would definitely recommend them.

Everyone was wonderful. They came out to the venue and did the hair and make up of me plus 9 other girls. Everything came out perfect and they were so friendly, fun, and finished with plenty of time to spare. I even recommended them to my cousin's fiancee when she got married just a few months after me! 10/10 would recommend.

Amanda and Laura were so professional and easy to work with. I had an old hollywood themed wedding and I gave them pictures and told them how I wanted it and it was better than I expected. They even came to my house and dida trial run.
I really enjoyed my makeup and hair on my wedding day. I am still enjoying my pictures and the memories 7 months later. These girls are attentive and organized and do what they say they are going to do.
Most of all, they really care and are enjoyable and upbeat to be around. They have a huge skill, they know how to handle high maintenance and demanding bridesmaids on the day of the wedding very well.

Amanda with doll me up was amazing!!! I've always been skeptical with make up because I'm not very comfortable with my skin , but she worked with me step by step so that I would be able tom later create a similar look myself! Amanda was great. She did a fantastic job on everyone's makeup and even the best man. He had a black eye from the night before, and she was luckily able to save me from becoming a crazy bridezilla by covering it up so he looked normal in pictures!

I did feel like my hair didn't keep for the entire night and my fake eylashes were falling off right after the ceremony so I just took them off. My eyes are pretty sensitive and kept tearing up when she tried to put them on so I think that's why they fell off. I was SO happy with my hair and makeup from Amanda and Roquel. I had an outdoor wedding that had upscale details but a very woodsy casual feel. It was important for me to look like myself and look natural. Amanda was so accommodating as I had my bridesmaids be able to choose hair and/or makeup at their own expense. Everyone's makeup looked "light, bright and stunning" with their hair feeling effortlessly curled (not too "done up"). The value of what they offer is amazing - I felt professionally done but still felt comfortable talking to people close up. I highly recommend the airbrushing- SO flawless. **My advice would be to book early and book a trial early since they are busy with weddings on the weekend. I actually had two hair trials because I got my veil and headpiece later. I would recommend brainstorming a timeline and having a bossy family member stick to the rotation. We got about an hour behind schedule which threw off my photography schedule, but it was also avoidable in the way that I didn't have a coordinator and if a bridesmaid changes their mind mid- styling, I don't blame them. I would just recommend having someone in charge of that so they can focus on what they do best. And looking back, putting us slightly behind was fine because I looked fabulous and we just did the photos later.

It is unfortunate to have to write this type of review. If I could give this vendor ZERO stars I would. Even though its been three weeks since my wedding I am still in tears. BRIDES to be please read this and be warned. I should have known better when I booked my trial. Amanda emailed me and told me that she had accidentally double booked my trial with another girl's wedding. I gladly rescheduled mine since mine was just a trial and Amanda reassured me that this had never happened and that it would not happen the day of my wedding. I really liked my trial makeup and booked my wedding day. The night before my wedding Amanda emailed asking what room number I was in which was odd because we were getting married in an estate. She said oops in her email and said she was "scatter brained" and made a mistake. The day of my wedding, Amanda did NOT show up. Instead, she sent Laura to do my makeup. I had never worked with Laura and I did NOT like how she did my hair or makeup. Sadly, I could have done a better job. My makeup looked like your day to day makeup. Nothing special. I had to ask her multiple times to blend the eyes shadow,to eyeliner the white glue line that was clearly visible 15 minutes after application and to fix the awful mess that was my hair. I wanted to die. My makeup looked nothing like the trial. Not even close. I did not get a call or email from Amanda. My pictures and wedding day were ruined. I plead you to be careful with this vendor. Amanda was extremely unprofessional. I have all the email to prove this. I looked at my wedding pictures and Laura didn't even use concealer to hide some of the acne marks I had. That is like one of the most basic things in makeup. The eyeshadow was not blended and I had to apply my own lipstick and blush so I didn't look sick. I am so disappointed in not only them but in myself. I should have known after she double booked me. I would NEVER recommend these services to anyone and I hope this never happens to anyone else.

It is unfortunate to have to write this type of review. If I could give this vendor ZERO stars I would. Even though its been three weeks since my wedding I am still in tears. BRIDES to be please read this and be warned. I should have known better when I booked my trial. Amanda emailed me and told me that she had accidentally double booked my trial with another girl's wedding. I gladly rescheduled mine since mine was just a trial and Amanda reassured me that this had never happened and that it would not happen the day of my wedding. I really liked my trial makeup and booked my wedding day. The night before my wedding Amanda emailed asking what room number I was in which was odd because we were getting married in an estate. She said oops in her email and said she was "scatter brained" and made a mistake. The day of my wedding, Amanda did NOT show up. Instead, she sent Laura to do my makeup. I had never worked with Laura and I did NOT like how she did my hair or makeup. Sadly, I could have done a better job. My makeup looked like your day to day makeup. Nothing special. I had to ask her multiple times to blend the eyes shadow,to eyeliner the white glue line that was clearly visible 15 minutes after application and to fix the awful mess that was my hair. I wanted to die. My makeup looked nothing like the trial. Not even close. I did not get a call or email from Amanda. My pictures and wedding day were ruined. I plead you to be careful with this vendor. Amanda was extremely unprofessional. I have all the email to prove this. I looked at my wedding pictures and Laura didn't even use concealer to hide some of the acne marks I had. That is like one of the most basic things in makeup.
