    Shirley was incredible. She was professional, caring, down to earth, and got things done quickly and efficiently. She was consistently helping us make all decisions (and keeping track of everything that needed to get done) - from the biggest, most important decisions down to the smallest detail - and she did it all with such patience and support, not to mention often going above and beyond when we were in a pinch. We could always trust Shirley - we knew we were in good hands whenever she was dealing with vendors and others involved in the planning. The day ran so smoothly and beautifully because of her hard work. She was the first one to arrive and the last one to leave - and was great to have by our side whenever we needed her on the day. We both highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. Thank you Shirley for the most special day.

    Our wedding was PERFECT all because of Shirley!! She was our Day-Of Coordinator, and there's no one else who can do this better!

    After planning this wedding for 11 months, it felt strange to relinquish all this work to Shirley, yet I have complete faith in her to run the show. She kept the party running like it was perfectly synchronized clockwork! She ensure all my DIY decorations were in place (even better than I imagined!), she made sure everyone who was involved knows where they need to be, and I am so amazed with her ability to politely tell our guests not to do certain things!

    Her ability to speak Cantonese was a plus, since most of our family spoke it, and her extensive knowledge & experience allowed her to prepare for all & any scenarios that could possibly happen!

    To be honest, that day is still quite a blur to me, but only because I was so happy & was completely able to enjoy the day without worrying about any planning / vendors / details!

    Future brides, Shirley's the best, there's no one else like her! She's so great at listening to what we want, and executing it in a way that's even better than we thought!

    Thanks Shirley, we started our marriage with this perfect wonderful wedding, and we couldn't have done it without you!

    P.S. I'm sure she was the one to convinced the sky to give us a beautiful 25 degrees, sunny day on Thanksgiving weekend too! *wink*

    Shirley went above and beyond for us leading up to the wedding and on the big day. We are so happy we booked her for month-of planning services. The wedding party and both families were able to enjoy the day much more thanks to Shirley and her assistants who did all the setting up for us. I had handmade many décor items and Shirley was able to set up the ceremony and reception space even better than I had envisioned it! During our pre-wedding meetings there were many décor & planning details that Shirley brought forth for consideration. I was surprised at how much I would have missed if I had tried to do it all myself. We loved her enthusiasm! It was so refreshing to see her just as excited as we were for the big day. She was absolutely the reason our day went as smoothly as it did and she did it all with a smile on her face.

    shirley was easy to work with, detail-oriented, creative, has tons of experience and was super accommodating! I would recommend her to anyone who needs a planner!

    Our wedding days were fantastic and as close to perfection as I could have asked for thanks to Shirley's constant hard work, which was above the call of duty!

    Hiring Shirley at Double Happiness Events as our day of coordinator was the best decision we made for my wedding. She helped us plan & execute our vision to make the wedding beyond perfect. Her personality & professionalism for weddings shined on the phone, during our meetings & especially on the wedding day. Our parents & bridal party really appreciated having Shirley lead the wedding day as they were all able to enjoy the day so they didn't have to worry about anything. Since we did have a language barrier between the two families, Shirley's knowledge of Chinese & the customs really came in handy. During the last couple of weeks leading up to the wedding she took everything off our plate (time line, contacting vendors etc), therefore we were able to relax & enjoy time with our out of town relatives.

    I can't say enough amazing things about Shirley & the level of service she is able to provide for a perfect wedding which is what we had. I couldn't image not having Shirley as our wedding planner. All the family & bridal party really appreciated the how Shirley took control & executed the time line without their help so they could enjoy the whole day stress free. The best compliment came from the head captain at the Rosewater where we had our wedding..."Shirley is the best wedding planner I have worked with in the past 10 years".

    Shirley is an extremely organized planner who is very attentive to the wedding couple's requests. I had Shirley for her full planning service and she was on top of everything every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, we had nothing to worry about, every small detail was taken care of. Shirley was always around to make sure everything is ok, and we had the best time at our wedding!
