    We had the pleasure of working with both Mary and Monica during the process of planning our wedding. Mary took a new position when Monica stepped in. Both women were truly amazing! We had many unique plans with our wedding (needing Kosher meals for a few attenders, many people traveling in from Canada and Israel) and Monica was able to handle them without hesitation. I was not stressed at all because I knew Monica would be sure everything went smoothly! She arranged for Kosher meals to be delivered and made sure everyone was able to get a hotel room to stay the night (with Packer Sunday being the following day!) I would recommend working with Monica and the staff at the Holiday Inn to any bride!!

    I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day and I can highly thank the Holiday Inn and Mary Minten for doing such a fabulous job! From our first conversations with Mary, she was so responsive and easy to work with. I could ask her anything and she was always willing to answer all of my odd questions! When we got closer to our wedding day, she helped keep me organized and on task with a great timeline and information I needed to get from my other vendors. Now our wedding day was wonderful- the hall was beautifully decorated, all of my decorations were set up great, and Mary met us and kept us on task while we were still able to greet guests. Now our food was amazing, we had so many compliments- the mashed potatoes, stuffing, chicken, beef tips- I lost track of all the wonderful comments about how great the food was. We had a couple extremely minor things that went wrong that I learned of later and the Holiday Inn was so quick at making things right which impressed me even more!! I am so glad we went with the Holiday Inn! Our guests even continued the party in the 24 hour pool- which was a hit! Thank you so much!

    Mary Minten was phenomenal in planning and taking care of our wedding! I cannot say enough great things about this place, she was a counselor a friend a confidant and a wedding planner all rolled into one! the holiday inn is definitely a one-stop shop! They only do one wedding at a time and they made us feel like we were the upmost priority that evening!!

    The Holiday Inn was the perfect place for our wedding and all the events leading up to it! Mary and her staff was so great to work with! She was EXTREMELY responsive to our requests and needs (which seemed to be constantly changing), and always made me feel at ease. Mary served as our wedding coordinator for the rehearsal and ceremony and remembered all of the little details. She even made calls when our officiant was late so that I didn't have to worry! The Holiday Inn consistently went above and beyond what is expected of a venue. All of our decorations were set up, and taken down by the Holiday Inn; at the end of the night they kept things in a locked room so we didn't have to worry about them. They even set our cupcakes up on the stand so that I didn't have to. The value was incredible! The food was DELICIOUS! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! It was truly the perfect day, and the Holiday Inn helped make it what it was! We can't say enough positive things about the Holiday Inn Appleton!

    Awesome hall! Good coordinators and helped decorate. Very professional and creative. Wedding ran so smooth, food very good!

    My wedding was in good hands at Holiday Inn! The coordinator and banquet staff were incredible to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better day! They made it look flawless <3

    The holiday inn gave us a contact that took care of so many things it felt like we had a wedding planner. They were amazing to work with and I'd recommend the venue to anyone!! Nothing went wrong and we were 110% satisfied!

    I would suggest the Holiday Inn, Appleton to ANYONE who is planning a wedding in the area. They were very professional, and Monica (our coordinator from the Holiday Inn) was AMAZING!!!!!! The food turned out delicious and we received so many compliments that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Monica worked with our budget to create an amazing reception experience for us. I strongly suggest getting the garden area for a social before the reception. Everyone loved it and said it was really relaxing and fun. Monica did all of the decorating and put out all of our name cards and set up the photo table for us. She went soooo above and beyond to give us a day that we'll remember forever. And what I will remember was how effortless she made everything. I didn't worry about a single thing that night, and all the nights before because she was so on top of everything. The guests had so many compliments about her, and the helpfullness of the staff. I would recommend them to anyone! I was very happy with them!

    I cannot say enough about the Holiday Inn (but most importantly Monica Cisler) who was the "event coordinator" for our wedding. Unfortunately, I believe she has taken a new role at the Holiday Inn and may not be doing weddings anymore. She was unbelievably accommodating and make my wedding planning SO MUCH less stressful. She was super flexible and super helpful. I was worried that the ceremony and reception would not look nice because it was just a hotel ball room but she worked so well with my decorators (Wedding Perfect) and lighting (Sound Dimensions DJs and uplighting) that the space looked gorgeous! She also provided us a room to put our centerpieces together on Thursday and Friday and was incredibly helpful with that as well. The only reason I put a 4 for professionalism is that on Friday night after our rehearsal dinner we went back to spend some time in the hotel bar and the 2 bartenders that night were incredibly rude (we discussed this with Monica, however, and I am certain those bartenders will be fired if they ever cause more complaints). Oh the venue also provided the food which was very tasty and the bars for the evening were great, well organized and fast with service. Monica also did all of our wedding music from my iPod on their sound system and it worked out PERFECT. Ended up being such a good value and turned out perfect!

    We had both our ceremony and reception at the Holiday Inn. The ceremony had to be moved at the last minute to inside which wasn't a big deal, the staff did a great job accommodating this. During our planning stage in the span of a year and a half there were 3 different wedding planners. It made it difficult for all of the planners to remember the information we provided them. All 3 of the planners were great and fantastic! There food and beverage director was amazing and our guests are still complimenting our food a month later (:

    We recently had our wedding here and it was great. All the staff was willing to work with us and make our wedding day be what we imagined. It was frustrating that we went through 3 different wedding coordinators during our planning process, with the last change happening about 9 months before our wedding day. Leah, the last wedding coordinator, was pretty good. Although some times it took a few days to get back to us, we understand as she runs wedding program at the Neenah Riverwalk Holiday Inn as well. What was most frustrating was that they day before our wedding we were told we needed to decide at 11am if our ceremony was going to be indoors or outdoors as the forecast called for rain, and we could not change our mind. I was so saddened by this news mainly because they had told me otherwise about 6 months earlier. On the day of the wedding they did make things right and decided to set up for both an outdoor and indoor ceremony as the forecast called for rain but it was sunny in the morning. They helped to make sure everything went smooth that day and all the bartenders and waitresses/waiters were wonderful. The food was great as well and came out promptly. Dean and Olivia, the food service coordinators, were great and made sure that everything went perfect. Overall, a good experience and would recommend this place. Just be willing to speak up if something isn't what you were told or how you want it.

    I went through three wedding coordinators with this venue, later to find out that this was due to a change in ownership. However, it was very stressful as a bride to have to explain my vision to multiple people. In the end, we worked with Leah as our wedding coordinator, and Dean was the food and beverage director. There appears to be very little communication between upper level management and the front desk staff. I needed to call in multiple times to open up more rooms in my block because my guests couldn't make a reservation. The front desk has no ability to open up rooms in the block for my guests, so I needed to call my coordinator or another member of management to open up rooms. It was sometimes days before I could get a hold of someone to take care of it, particularly if the block filled on a Friday evening. I feel that this should not have been my responsibility to keep tabs on my own room block, and it was extremely inconvenient for my guests. At one point, the front desk was recommending nearby hotels to my guests because my block was full and they couldn't do anything about it. On the wedding day, we requested three bartenders for our 200+ guests and only one arrived. All other bartenders employed by the hotel were unwilling to come into work on that day, so my guests waited 45 minutes for a drink at our cocktail hour. Dean really tried the best he could under the circumstances, and jumped in to help when he could. The morning after the reception, something happened to the water heating system, so my guests that stayed the night got cold showers. At least, that probably helped with some of their hangovers! Some highlights of the evening include the decorations, they contract with a local vendor who did a really nice job with the decor. The food was also served very promptly, and was quite delicious. We served our guests family style with the three-meat option, and my guests were impressed with the dinner. Overall though, spend your money elsewhere.

    We booked our wedding reception back in May 2016. Our wedding is June 2018. On 6.21.17 I found out on social media that the coordinator (Leah) quit. Concerned, I called and left a message for the new coordinator (See) on 6.21.17 On 7.18.17 I called again due to not receiving a response. When I spoke to See she had no answers for me, but assured me that there would be no surprises coming my way. See also told me she would send me the needed room rates for our wedding (our contract stated we would have them no later than June 2017), and I was told I would also be sent an updated food menu showing newer items to choose from for our family style dinner. I waited 2 weeks and called again due to not receiving a response. I spent the following 2 weeks calling and leaving my name, messages, and number at the front desk with no response. During this time I also discovered that this location was scheduled to have a full remodel done during the time of our wedding on social media. I was never notified by the Holiday Inn about the construction being a possibility. I finally got in touch with the Asst. General Manager (Mack) who told me that not only were the promised drink packages not going to be available to us, but they were also not sure if we would be able to have the family style dinner we selected. This was on 8.17.17, and they were also not able to provide the needed room rates "at this time". Trying to get some answers, my fiancé physically went there and was told by Paula (an even newer coordinator) that they were unable to locate our original file containing the contract and addendum. Since then we contacted the owner, met with Mack & Paula, spoke with Patty (manager), and only have room rates (as of 9/1/17). Family Style meal availability is back and fourth and they tell us different (higher) pricing daily. They are telling us that they still "cant locate" our original file containing needed details. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISASTEROUS VENUE!
