We had our rehearsal dinner and bridal brunch (day after the wedding) at the Doubletree in Atlantic Beach. The service was outstanding on both occasions.

For the rehearsal dinner, we rented the Sandcastles room. The room was decorated beautifully by the staff. All of the food was excellent.

For the bridal brunch, they had a separate dining area for us in the breakfast area. The service was outstanding. They were very accommodating to our large party (~35 people).

Going in with plenty of time for you event, do not wait till the last minute. The staff is very helpfully.

We recently held our wedding ceremony, reception, and after-party at the DoubleTree Atlantic Beach.

What a beautiful venue that affords some great options for space. From the Pier to the beautiful ballroom to the quaint Sandcastles "beach club" to Molly's Bar & Grill, you can make your wedding as casual or as formal as you wish. We had our ceremony on the Pier, our reception at Sandcastles, and our after-party at Molly's. We were able to work with the hotel to get an affordable block of rooms for our out-of-town guests. The staff is eager to please, very professional, and accommodating. The staff is also very well-connected to local wedding vendors in the area, so it is easy to work with them to coordinate the entire event yourselves. The food was delicious - we opted for a Southern comfort food, with pulled pork, mac & cheese, shrimp & grits, biscuits... even a s'mores bar toward the end of the night. Most importantly, we had an amazing evening and amazing memories that will last a lifetime.

We were planning on our guests staying at this hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting the room block set up. Unfortunately, I received a call that due to Hurricane Florence damage, the hotel would not be reopening in 2019 and that the reservations would be cancelled but they went the extra mile to find other hotels that might accommodate our guests.
If the hotel does reopen for the dates you need, you should consider using them for some of your wedding events.
