    Extremely Satisfied

    Our wedding was during the pandemic. The management and staff at DoubleTree by Hilton, went beyond and above to make our wedding phenomenal. Our guests were satisfied and felt safe. We are grateful for the excellent services.

    Better than we could have imagined!

    Sally and her team out did themselves on our wedding day. Not only did she go above and beyond to help with decor when our initial plan fell through, she and her staff were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the ceremony and reception. The food was very good and so many of our guests agreed. I would highly recommend Sally and her team to my friends and family.
    Thank you again Sally, you were AWESOME!!

    Very accommodating and professional!

    If I could do my wedding all over again, I definitely would pick the DoubleTree Hotel! I worked with Sally Perlloni. She was extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole thing. They were very accommodating to our cultural wedding which was most important to us when we selected a venue. I highly recommend them for big Asian weddings! Also, the food was amazing! I still can’t believe how perfect our day was :)

    Our event, a morning-after wedding brunch for 75, was a dream! From our first phone call to the splendid buffet brunch, everything was flawless. Flawless! Clear and prompt communication and follow-up! A can-do attitude as we worked out changes and details. Customer service at its finest! Our needs and wishes were heard and heeded, with grace and efficiency throughout. We settled on the menu and the head count and we never looked back!
    (Family health issues precluded our responding sooner with this well-deserved praise.)

    I had my wedding at the Doubletree Hotel in Portland this past summer and it was such an amazing day, and I am very happy that I chose to have them host my special day. I had an outdoor ceremony at the Oregon Square Courtyard nearby, followed by an indoor reception in their Cascade Ballroom. The outdoor ceremony turned out amazing! The area was full of trees, which made for great pictures! The transformation of the ballroom was great, and the catering was amazing! I had so many compliments from guests on how beautiful, and how amazing the food was! The whole planning process was so easy and smooth, Megan really helped capture my vision and bring it to life. Megan and her team was so easy to work with, flexible and responsive. I would definitely recommend having a wedding here!

    When we went to check out the venue, Megan was absolutely wonderful! She was flexible on the hours that we were able to come in to see the location.

    She is quick to respond and I felt no stress during the planning of this event. She made it so our big day went off without a hitch and without a worry in the world.

    The DoubleTree team took great care of me during my wedding! I truly feel like they assigned the top performers of their staff to make my day flawless and effortless! Megan is very responsive and knowledgeable about weddings and the kitchen team were on board for my special dessert idea. They are really able to create a warm and inviting experience for my guests. We also had a room block at the hotel and my guests were very comfortable and happy with the accommodations.

    The DoubleTree by Hilton Portland is a wonderful venue that I've used for many events, including my wedding! I would highly recommend adding Megan and her team to your "must consider" list.

    I have attended many large events here (events with over 300 people), and had the opportunity to have our wedding reception here. They are pretty popular for events, so they do get booked quickly. We had to move our reception date around and Megan; the Catering Manager at time, was completely accommodating. Everyone we worked with at this venue was absolutely professional and understanding. Also, they work with a lot of outside vendors which is awesome, and you get their famous Double Tree chocolate chip cookie when you leave!

    As a bride, you tend to get a little crazy and ask a lot of questions/change a lot of stuff last minute - my event coordinator Megan, and all of the other staff who helped us book hotel rooms etc...were SO AMAZING! The food was great too, everyone is still talking about the food. You must try the Salmon! Everything all together is a little spendy, but the staff will do absolutely everything they can to keep you in your budget and still have a fantastic time!

    Megan was great to work with. She was very responsive. She was great at going over what was included and what was extra and our choices. The Venue was great, it was set up as we asked and looked beautiful. The food was awesome. All the adjustments we asked for were made and everything looked and tasted wonderful. The staff was very professional and courteous. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was that the leftovers were not all provided to us to take home.

    Double Tree Hotel was wonderful and took care if everything, from big things to small details. It was professional and helpful in making my wedding day special. But weekends book up fast so it must be planned far in advance

    Solid mid-range hotel

    Had my big (200+ guests) Indian wedding at the Doubletree over Thanksgiving week in 2022. Hotel is solid but basic -- you really have to invest in decor to make it feel festive. Allie is awesome to work with and super responsive. One big issue was safety concerns (hotel didn't have adequate security services and a friend's room got robbed). They are flexible with catering and well located for out-of-town guests--super close to the airport.
