    What a wonderful wedding reception that we had on 2/25/2017. Worked with Robin who was great. Met her in summer of 2016 and she made our lives so much easier. For the money, this is the best value that I could find. On our wedding day, we didn't have any worries on our reception. It was so well prepared, food was amazing, place looked great. Highly recommend this place!

    Robin and the Faculty at DoubleTree Tempe are absolutely phenomenal. I don't recall ever being royalty at least not in this lifetime and yet they treated us as such from day one. Robin and her team were prompt in meeting with us for the first time ever. They offered us an amazing contract to hold a wedding of 250-320 in their grand ballroom which was an offer we couldn't refuse considering the yearning of having us be their customer, the amazing price tag, the prompt emails and meetings as well as the meals and planning they have provided us with. We felt that Robin was a friend versus an event coordinator. I think saying we're happy with Robin would be an understatement. I can say that if you're doing an event do ask for Robin to be the coordinator for an unforgettable experience. Double Tree also gave us newlyweds the Eagle's Nest room just adjacent to the lobby. We live in Glendale, Arizona so it was great to have planned and followed up with Robin and Double Tree as many times as needed, they were and I'm sure always will be the most accommodating hotel in the area. Our wedding on February 18, 2017 was one to remember.

    I visited many wedding venues and fell in love with the DoubleTree By Hilton, Tempe. The Senior Catering Manager, Robin Putnam, was extremely professional, friendly and very attentive to our needs. Working with Robin was a joy. The Galleria Room was decorated so elegantly, the food was top notch, and the service of the catering staff was superb. Our out of town guests loved the hotel staff, rooms and location of the hotel. The wedding turned out so beautifully and we have such wonderful memories. Thank you DoubleTree By Hilton, Tempe for making Lisa and Derek Lee's wedding on 2/17/17 like a dream come true!! We will never forget it!!

    This review may be long but it really goes to show how awesome this venue is!
    I work in the wedding industry, so I know there are many venues to look at, and we did.
    Some venues took forever to respond and some of them were just not willing to work with us (some one had told us that their venue was out of our price range even when we didn't disclose how much we were spending). With that begging said, since the beginning the Doubletree Tempe was amazing to work with. They treated us with such respect that their attitudes and friendliness alone beat out most of the competition.
    Robin Putnam was phenomenal to work with! She took care of my husband and I with such care. She worked with our schedules and made sure that our wedding was what we wanted it to be! She met with us multiple times to go over everything, responded to my countless emails and just made sure that everything was perfect. Additionally, they already have so many built relationships that it really was a one stop shop. I knew that having my wedding there meant that I had nothing to worry about, which is exactly what I wanted.
    The day before the wedding, the staff was very helpful with anything and everything I needed. They made sure I was ready for the big day. The wedding day- everything went without a hitch! Seriously nothing was wrong, and everything went smoothly. The hotel knew how to take care of my guests and I and we even got compliments on how great the hotel was!
    The food was amazing, the venue and staff were beyond helpful (seriously they were there to help with whatever we needed) and the wedding was a dressmaker come true! We are lucky to have found such a great venue and I recommend it to everyone who is looking!

    If you are looking for a place to host your next event look no further. After touring many wedding venues, hotels, and private event spaces that were overpriced, mediocre and overused, we were pleasantly surprised by the Doubletree Hilton Tempe had to offer. We never felt like just another bride & groom on the conveyer belt of here's your allotted time now get married and move on. Our first impression was that this hotel was a hidden gem. We had passed it on many trips to the Phoenix Zoo and we were always attracted to its beautiful copper roof. We were unaware at the time, of the hotel's rich history in the area. Formally the Fiesta Inn, the architecture and style has a vibe we enjoyed with a modern mid century look. The hotel's original architect was a student of the Frank Lloyd Wright school of design.
    Robin Putnam, the catering manager, was our first contact with the hotel, and she did not disappoint. She was delightful to work with, knowledgeable and always available to answer any of our questions. The minute we met Robin I knew we were in competent hands. The staff at this hotel were professional and friendly, every meeting with the staff left us feeling like we were family. Our wedding took place on the Milagro's patio with the Encantada Ballroom for our reception. We chose the Diamond package and were extremely pleased with everything it included. We were also able to customize things without any problems. I believe we got the best of both worlds having our wedding at this hotel. We had excellent coordination, a wonderful chef and a fully able and equipped staff. One of the greatest things about using this venue is at the end of the night our items were neatly piled together for us and the rest was cleaned up by the wonderful staff. We never felt rushed, unimportant or in anyones way. Our day was just as special to everyone helping that day. We would highly recommend the Doubletree Tempe.

    If you plan to get married or host any event make sure you check out this place. It is a great place because it offers very unique and distinct areas for the wedding ceremony and reception. You can go big and modern or more intimate.

    Nunnie helped us plan the event and I must say I am very impressed. I loved how he made my wife the center of attention and put up with her worrying about every detail. Nunnie is perhaps the most patient and likeable person I have met in a long time.

    The food was great and we received many compliments. Make sure you get the Birds Nest suite for your wedding night, heck stay a week!! It was great!

    The only issue was the lighting in the room would not dim for some reason, but we got past that in a hurry and got on with the party.

    the whole fiesta resort team was amazing!! i could call vanessa anytime i needed her and she always had answers! she was very flexible with my schedule. my wedding was amazing! her team set up and cleaned up the whole event. everything that my grandma in law didnt take made it back to me. the food was delicious and even better than i expected it to be. we were givin a room for the wedding night and they let me check in very early and it was the biggest hotel room i think i had ever been in! i would totally recommend this to any bride, not only was it very very affordable but it was everything i could have hoped for!

    This place was sooo beautiful. They were extremely accommodating. The staff was top notch and always there to help. I would highly recommend this place to EVERYONE.

    We were so impressed with the quality of service we received. The full time staff at the Doubletree by Hilton in Tempe was amazing! From the very beginning of our journey, calling around to different venues, they were the most receptive and we didn't feel like we were inconveniencing anyone. Once we got to our first meeting, we both knew we had found our venue. We were very impressed, even the General Manager took time out of his busy schedule to meet with us the first day. Robin our sales contact for the wedding was outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. She made the process so easy and did an outstanding job setting the room with our decorations. Jeff and Robin both worked diligently to ensure all our guests needing reservations were set up and the day of the wedding, everyone had an early check in, even though the hotel was extremely busy. The food was absolutely delicious (although as often happens, the bride only got a few bites.) our sincere compliments to the chef! Our guests all raved about our Italian food selection. We would highly recommend this hotel, they truly made us feel like family.

    We chose this hotel as the site for our wedding. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I wanted to use a Hilton property. They did not let us down. From our very first meeting with Robin, the catering sales manager and our wedding coordinator, we were treated like royalty. The service we received throughout the process was superlative. Robin left no stone unturned to ensure our wedding was beautiful, (and it was by all accounts) and her staff made sure all of our needs were met. Robin even had three different plans and areas where we could hold the wedding. Robin always stayed cognizant of our wedding budget. Even when she had an idea to add to the wedding. They went above and beyond. The hotel staff overall took care of our out of town guests that stayed at the hotel for the wedding.....which turned into an 3 day event. All of our guests that stayed at the hotel or that came to any of the wedding related events all raved about the service and the hotel in general. The location is excellent. Close to the airport and offers shuttle service. Most of our out of town guests did not have to rent a car. (and business travelers know how much it costs to rent a car at PHX .....45%+ rental tax) My wife and I truly appreciated this hotel and we could not pulled off our perfect wedding without them. Thank you Doubletree by Hilton Phoenix Tempe for making our wedding so wonderful!!!!

    This was the place where we held our reception.Ours were a small gathering of people but the place could hold up to 250 guest. A family recommends this place to me and my hubby and so we tried out and was never turned down.nice service and performance overall..

    Where do I start.... Okay when I first went down there to see the place I met the wedding planner Sloane. She was awesome and helped me throughout the whole year leading up to my wedding. Then 2 weeks before the wedding she left the hotel to work somewhere else. As you can imagine I was very nervous to see what was going to happen. I had been at the hotel with another vendor to check out the space and saw Sloane. We spoke for a few minutes then I left. That night I got an email stating she left the hotel. They wouldn't even let her tell her clients she was leaving. So then I met Chelle. She stepped right in and met with me to get all of the details that we had already planned. Well things started to change pricing was explained different but I just kept a positive attitude and went on. Then the day of the wedding Chelle was awesome with making sure everything was what I wanted. There were a few mishaps but she jumped right on them to make sure were fixed in time for the wedding. Then Chelle had to go and the director took over. They had no idea what was going on and were trying to rush us through everything. Once the ceremony was over we started the reception. The director left and put a captain in charge. Well she couldn't speak English very well and was no where to be found the entire night. I had to constantly ask someone to find her. Then later in the night we spoke with the captain and explained to her that the centerpiece needed to bebout into the office and we would pick them up in the morning with all of the other decor. The next morning I went to the office and could not find anyone to help me find my decorations and centerpieces. I finally went in the office an found my decorations thrown in boxes with no care. My VERY expensive champagne flutes were in the box without being cleaned or rinsed at that. The biggest worry was I couldn't find my centerpieces. I looked everywhere for someone when finally my friend that speaks Spanish spoke to a lady and told her we needed to speak with someone. The captain finally came and I explained that I still needed my centerpieces. She explained that she was not sure where they all place them and would call me once she found out. Since I was leaving the next day for my honeymoon, I gave my mother the information to call Chelle to find out exactly where they were. I also left a message for Chelle to call my mom. Well I get a call on my honeymoon from my mom stating that the captain told Chelle that we told her that they could keep the centerpieces and the rest of my cake. My mom argued with them an explains that we in fact did not tell them that and that their employees have lied and need to return th. Chelle tried to get them back but only 2 of the 8 that were left that night were returned and the cake was never found. The hotel has stated that they will reimburse me for them. What bothers me is they were going to be given to family members ad wedding party. I am still working on getting that taken care of. So then on my honeymoon my husband checks our credit card to find that they have charged us twice and put us over the limit. They were quick to fix that which was good as we were using the credit card on our honeymoon. It was a beautiful wedding and the service up until the planner left was great. The price is pretty good for what you get. If you decide to go here I would make sure that your wedding planner is there and that they leave someone responsible after they leave. I hate leaving bad reviews and that I why I have explained the situation from start to finish.

    The Fiesta Resort and Conference Center was very affordable, it was a great value for what we got. When I came in the room looked flawless and everyting was beautiful. Sloan, the coordinator was very responsive and helpful. The venue was one of the few things I didn't stress over due to her confidence, responsiveness, and reassurance. However, we got an open bar for 3 hours, 5 to 8 o'clock. They closed the open bar down early at 745 and turned away guests, claiming that the "hosts" asked them to do this, which we did not. It turns out it is because they were losing money on the open bar, so decided to shut it down although we already paid for it. The bar tender lied to the groom, and my brother, an usher- we obvously knew we gave no such instructions. They also lied to other guests saying they can only give out 2 drinks at a time as per host request- something else that wasn't true. We gave instructions that we would pick everything up that we had left the following day- ie guest book, etc. We said to pack up the reamining cake and we would pick it up. We were horrified to find, when we went to pick up the cake, that the staff ate it. At 4 bucks a slice, we were less than thrilled to say the least. The staff at the front desk were some of the rudest people I have ever met- while in my wedding dress and my husband in his tuxedo- they would not give us a key to our room, many of my friends were around and said they couldnb't believe how rude they were, and that they were also rude to them as well. This wasn't just one particular staff member, it was 2, one was just a worker, and hte other was actually the front desk manager. Days before the wedding, we were told that we were upgraded from the presidential suite, to the Eagle's nest- only to find at check out that we were CHARGED for the upgrade- which is obviously not an upgrade, but a scam. They did have reasonable prices, the venue was beautiful, and the food was fabulous, in the end I would say it was worth it, but if you choose to go here I suggest you give very firm instructions regarding your expectations.
