Lisa and the staff of the DoubleTree hotel did a fantastic job with our wedding reception. They were very friendly, easy to work with and accommodating to all of our needs. Lisa did an amazing job executing everything that I had envisioned for my special day. The ballroom is very spacious but also very warming for a romantic occasion. The catering was excellent and very tasteful. Service is also great. All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion!

Although we stress a little before our wedding day, the day was perfect.

I am hoping the horrible experience was due to the UCI bike race because it was unacceptable.... Reserved a block of rooms for my guest at this hotel 9 months in advance of wedding. A few weeks prior to the wedding (BEFORE the block room cut-off date) I started receiving phone calls from guests that the hotel no longer had rooms available and had no idea what my guests were talking about when calling to book rooms because they did not see our block listed. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Called several days in a row leaving messages and no one would help or call back and just kept transferring my calls to someone else who would not help. What is the point of signing a contract??? Finally after a few days I received a call and they were able to open a few rooms (not the 20 rooms I reserved) but I needed to call my out of town guests and have them call the hotel immediately but only between the hours of 8-4:30pm . HUGE PAIN and not something a bride should have to do three weeks before a wedding because the "professionals" are not being professional. Alas, all my out of town guests were able to get rooms, so I thought. WELL..... day before the wedding my cousin checks into the Doubletree with the reservation made 1 month in advance and the hotel tried to put her and her husband in a conference room with a trundle bed set-up. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Only after she complained they put her in another hotel next door for free. Who does that? A conference room IS NOT a hotel room no matter how booked the hotel is. The only reason I am giving them a score over 2 is because the hotel ended up making everything right (after many headaches) and my brother and dad LOVED the woman who worked the breakfast in the morning and would not stop talking about how great she was.
