  Wonderful Service and Delicious Food

  My wife and I hired Downtown Catering our winter wedding. Mike and Therese did an amazing job with the menu, and the food was delicious. They constantly communicated with us and always responded to any questions we had in a timely manner. The service at the reception was amazing. They made sure to save some hors d'oeuvres from the cocktail hour for us and got us drinks from the bar throughout the evening. On top of all this, our guests have been raving about the food and service since that night. We would recommend this caterer to anyone.

  The best caterer ever!!!

  We are SO happy we chose Downtown Catering for our wedding! The food is absolutely delicious!!! It was so hard to narrow it down during our tasting because it is that good! We also had so many compliments from our guests at the wedding. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff at Downtown Catering is so friendly, responsive, and professional! We were so pleased with the service at our wedding! They also take care of set up and breakdown, which was a huge help. Thank you so much Downtown Catering!!!

  Excellent Catering!

  Downtown Catering of Front Royal, VA catered my son's wedding. He and his bride requested a HUGE salad bar as the main lunch course. Mike and his team went above and beyond, even with COVID restrictions, to make it happen for the couple. Every bite was yummy and beautifully done.

  Absolutely Wonderful All Around!

  We hired Downtown Catering Company for our October 3rd wedding at Sylvanside Farm, and let me just say that even a month later our guests are STILL talking about how excellent the food was. From the cocktail hour to the dinner service (I’m still dreaming of Therese’s cheesy potato gratin…), to the dessert bar including a s’mores station - everything was truly perfect.
  Not only that, but Therese, Nicole, and Michael were absolutely wonderful to work with. Nicole was so responsive and helpful with guiding our menu choices, including assisting with our wedding cake flavors, ultimately I think our email chain was over 150 messages long! The whole team really took their time with us and helped make our wedding dreams come true. Hiring Downtown Catering Company was one of the best decisions we made, and I couldn’t speak more highly of this team - thank you, thank you, thank you!

  Excellent Caterer!

  Downtown Catering Co is a wonderful catering company I've had the pleasure to work with multiple times a month for the last year.   Delicious Food and Amazing Service

  So happy to have chosen Downtown Catering for my wedding! We got so many compliments from all our guests on how delicious our food was! From my very first conversation with their team, they were absolutely amazing. We were blown away by how delicious the food was when we did the tasting. They offer a great menu with a lot of variety, the details are on point, and everything was ?SOOO GOOD! Mike and Therese are also the best to work with. I had a lot of questions throughout the whole planning process and they were super patient, kind, and willing to work with me on all the details. We ended up having to adjust our contract due to COVID and they were very flexible in accommodating the changes. They attended our venue walkthrough, took care of all our rentals, and provided clean up service. The staff were great during the day of the wedding, and they were also super helpful in accommodating and distributing our homemade desserts to all our guests. Overall a 10 out 10 experience, would definitely recommend!

  Downtown Catering Review

  We had the absolute best experience with booking Downtown Catering for our wedding. Prior to booking, we had a tasting at their location and were so impressed by everyone's kindness, the care they put into our experience, and of course the food. We had done a couple other tastings in the DC area and Downtown Catering was a whole other experience compared to those. After booking, Therese and Mike were both quick with communication and helpful with all of the planning.
  
  Our wedding day was more than amazing! All of the food tasted incredible and Mike constantly kept checking on me and groom during pictures and throughout the evening to see if there was anything he could bring us. His positive energy was so great to be around and I cannot recommend Downtown Catering enough!!

  Best Caterer In Shenandoah

  From the day we did the tasting, we were excited for the wedding just so we could eat the delicious food again. The pricing was great, the staff was professional and helpful, and most importantly, the food was spectacular. It was hard to find caterers near our venue that had good refined food and vegetarian/vegan options (most were a lot of home type cooking and BBQ, and we wanted something a little more special for the wedding). The options were endless and all of what we tasted was way above our expectations. The guests cleaned the plates at dinner. Such a great choice.

  Best Caterer Ever!

  I can't thank Downtown Catering enough for such a wonderful wedding! They are extraordinary. Nicole Feldman was a blast to work with. She had everything under control and answered my million questions. Planning a wedding in the pandemic was stressful enough but Nicole and the team brought me so much relief. It was such a pleasure working with them. The food was so delicious too! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed all of it. From the set up, the food, the break down, all of it... Downtown Catering did an amazing job and I'll be recommending them to any and all who need an event catered.

  DCC catered my daughter's October 2018 wedding at Shenandoah Woods Pavilion. Therese worked with us to stay within our budget and gave us great suggestions/alternatives concerning the food, plating and set up - everything we could possibly think of! I appreciate that she always responded to our emails and calls in a timely manner. Her staff was delightful and very helpful with whatever we needed - even moving the heat lamps to accommodate the grandmothers! Everyone at Downtown Catering had a hand in making my daughter's special day "Her Best Day Ever!" In a nutshell... the food was delicious and service stellar! I HIGHLY recommend Downtown Catering if you are looking for a company that will work with you in a professional and caring way.

  DON"T LOOK ANY FURTHER!!! Honestly. Hire them!! Food is not one area you should skimp. For the quality, their prices are fantastic! Therese is an amazing chef. Fabulous tasting food with creative combinations. You can taste the love in everything she makes! Therese and Mike were such a pleasure to work with. Top notch professionals. We used them for our daughters wedding in October. What a great experience from the tasting (amazing experience) to the reception. They created a custom buffet that was out of this world. We had phenomenal appetizers (crab shooters!!! ) pulled pork, smoked brisket, salmon, potatoes and veggies all were amazing! Everyone is still raving over the delicious food. Excellent. Service was superb. We can't say enough good things about them! Seriously. Thank you Downtown Catering!!! All the best to you.

  Three Daughters Weddings

  Downtown Catering is the BEST. Their food is thoughtful, unique, and just plain yummy. Their service is the same. Venues get back to me and tell me how much they admire their professional care: for set up; clean up: and of course everything in between.   Terese and Mike at Downtown Catering were absolutely amazing to work with and their food was exceptional! Downtown Catering went above and beyond on everything from our initial tasting to our AMAZINGLY PERFECT wedding reception dinner. They were extremely responsive and worked with us along the way to make sure everything was perfect. From choosing the perfect menu, to working with us to have a specialty cocktail, Downtown Catering went out of their way to make sure we had a stress-free and incredible evening. I can’t even count how many guests at our wedding (some of whom I know are very picky!) told me how extremely impressed they were with the seamless catering service and exceptional taste of our food. We wanted a unique menu and Therese designed the tasting menu around our vision- with ample choices within and outside of our upscale southern comfort food menu. We decided to go with items like Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp and Grits, Green Beans (to name a few). We got countless positive feedback all night about how amazing the food was, including "best wedding entrée of all time". So many of our guests had never had shrimp and grits and now they love it. The passed Hors d'oeuvres literally disappeared. Downtown Catering company was also immensely accommodating and provided seamless service-- even with a few contractual discrepancies (on my side!!) I wasn't even aware of an issue because the staff was so professional, providing flawless service. I highly, highly, highly recommend Downtown Catering Company for your wedding or event!
