  Weddng officiant 3/11/2023

  Jeff did a wonderful job as our officiant. From meeting us multiple times to fine tune how we wanted our wedding done and providing marriage advice to think about was great. Jeff was also quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. We’re very happy he was able to make our marriage official. Highly recommend

  Incredible Officiant!

  We are so glad we had Jeff as our wedding officiant. Not only did he take the initiative to get to know us ahead of our wedding, but he went above and beyond on our wedding day to make our ceremony engaging, special and personalized. Our friends and family could not stop talking about how great the ceremony was, and it was largely thanks to Jeff. As a bride, there are a lot of stressful decisions to make but you will not regret having Jeff as a part of your wedding day!

  Our experience

  My husband and I have known Jeff for many years, so when it came time for our wedding, there was no doubt that Jeff was the perfect person to officiate our special day. He made the entire process personal and fun, while keeping the importance of marriage in the forefront of our minds. In our pre-wedding sessions, he took the time to really understand us as a couple, as well as what we hoped for in our ceremony.
  
  Like many couples in 2020, we made the decision to postpone our large wedding due to COVID. Jeff was extremely flexible and was even kind enough to officiate our elopement ceremony in the meantime! Both of our weddings (still seems funny to say) were everything we wanted and more. For our wedding at Triple C Barrel Room, Jeff even tied in elements of the craft beer process into the service. Many of our wedding guests still tell me that Jeff is the best officiant they've ever seen. We could not recommend him enough!

  Best decision

  When picking a destination wedding in Washington DC, one of my biggest concerns was finding someone who could marry us. We wanted someone we knew and were comfortable with to make things personal and help calm our nerves. For us, Jeff immediately came to mind, as my husband had grown up being best friends with Jeff's son. However, I'd only briefly met him - on first impression, he was warm, kind and not intimidating. He seemed like someone you'd want to have around you on the biggest day of your life. This proved to be completely true for me. Our pre-marital counseling sessions with Jeff were so enjoyable and stress-free, as were the rehearsal and wedding.
  
  As a bride, you have a million things to worry about when planning your wedding, but, for me, Jeff was never one of them. He is compassionate, intelligent, intuitive, and incredibly competent. I hardly had to give Jeff any instruction of what I was looking for and, not only did he immediately understand what I wanted for our ceremony, but he assured me he had it covered. And he truly did. He struck a beautiful balance between keeping a light and fun tone, although it was a religious ceremony. He even went as far as to do research about our destination so that he could tie it into the ceremony. Most importantly, Jeff was flexible and caring, which allowed for us to have a beautiful day with an absolutely worry free ceremony. I cannot recommend Jeff enough as an officiant!

  Best ever!

  Jeff made our ceremony so special. 3 years later, our wedding guests still remember and ask about his sermon! We got married under a beautiful canopy of old live oak trees in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. A large portion of our attendees were from out of town, and we wanted to incorporate some appreciation of the low country setting into our ceremony. Jeff fulfilled that request, and more! He is an incredible storyteller, and has a true appreciation of history (our relationship history, our family’s history, the history of Pawley’s Island, SC!). Through his sermon, Jeff not only honored the history of our relationship, but also the history of the precious place where we decided to start our married lives. It was truly amazing and so memorable! Jeff is easy to to work with and made the entire process low-stress for us. We truly enjoyed our pre-marriage meetings with him and became closer as a couple through the process. Jeff made a genuine effort to get to know us, our relationship, and our families in advance of the wedding, and I think that is part of what made our day feel so special. I can’t imagine our wedding weekend without Jeff. He is truly the best!

  Dr. Jeff Gardner will bring wisdom, creativity and distinction

  Jeff Gardner officiated both of our children's weddings. His wisdom, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched. From premarital counseling to introducing the couple as husband and wife, Jeff was the calm and steady presence we relied on for guidance. Our kids' weddings were beautiful and unique to each couple.   Jeff was absolutely amazing. When my husband and I started looking for someone to officiate our wedding neither of us had been attending a church regularly so we had a little trouble deciding who we would use. We wanted someone who would be more involved than just your average "for hire" wedding officiant. My husband's family knew who Jeff was because he was a pastor at their church when James was younger. I reached out to Jeff and he sent me back some information on what he does for weddings, and it was everything we wanted. He asked us to read a book and we did it chapter by chapter together. It made us talk about so many different things that we did not consider. He sat with us and just talked and got to know us. He gave us advice on our marriage and made sure he was comfortable marrying us. He was very open to James and I customizing our ceremony and writing our own vows. After the ceremony our photographer said it was the best ceremony she has seen. This says a lot because she does enough weddings that she is booked almost every weekend this year and her husband officiates weddings as well. It was definitely an unforgettable day for us and Jeff was amazing. We would highly recommend him to anyone who wants someone who is involved and will make your ceremony memorable.

  Exceptional Wedding Officiant

  Jeff Gardner was an amazing officiant for our son's wedding. He truly took the time to meet with our son and our future daughter-in-law to get to know them and to listen to how they envisioned their wedding ceremony. They both enjoyed their pre-marital sessions with Jeff as he spoke not only of having a beautiful wedding but a beautiful marriage. The day of the wedding was amazing with Jeff being so wonderfully prepared and he made the day so personal. Our friends still talk about how Jeff brought such a great message in such an honoring way to God and to our sweet couple. There were so many elements that made the day so memorable and Jeff was certainly one of them. He had such a welcoming and calming demeanor about him as guests arrived. One thing that our friends also specifically mentioned was that Jeff seemed to realize that everyone had come to see the couple and not him....he had them face the congregation so we could see their faces throughout the ceremony (he stood out in the congregation facing the couple). He spoke with humor and wisdom and it truly was so much fun to see the kid's reactions to the various parts of the ceremony. Our kids also spoke of how they loved being able to see all their friends and family during the wedding. The rating scale only goes to 5, but in all sincerity Jeff should get a 10+.
