Nicole was fab. If you are stressing about who to choose for your planner, don't. Nicole is who you need. My wife and I met/talked with Nicole multiple times and she really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted for our big day. She asked all the right questions and instead of selling herself to us with words, she took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and needed from start to finish. Nicole is friendly, nice, fun, professional and great at her job. I found that so much about the wedding planning process was about getting all the details right and on time and this is not easy to do without professional help. The internet is filled with information, opposing views and ways to do things, and there was never one set way to do something in the planning process. I could not rely on the internet for guidance. We needed Nicole. Our wedding was complex. It took place in a unique remote location using multiple vendors for food/dessert and our family provided some other items to use i.e. chairs/tables/utensils etc. There was a great deal going on, but Nicole and her team took care of EVERYTHING. Nicole coordinated times, directed employees, and who knows what else, because I didn't hear about any issues. Everyone raved about how well done the wedding was especially given the remote location. Vendors were thankful for the communication. We couldn't have been happier, and we are so happy we chose to go with Dreams In Detail. Nicole will make your day perfect. Nicole Harris and her beautiful team of superstars saved my wedding! After hiring another planner and having such a rough start with them I was filled with stress, not trusting any vendors or any planner with my wedding. DID worked with me on every single meticulous detail and was by my side as a friendly guide. I appreciate her guidance, charm, dependability and flexibility in her schedule because I was a wreck at the beginning of planning based on the experience from my former planner. I could not have found a better planner than Nicole.
We had over 400 guests at our wedding and Nicole has a large staff ready to go and accommodate everyone. Iranian weddings have several customs and traditions and Nicole blew me away with her input and ability to add in those traditions but also add the American touch we were going for as we decided to make our wedding a mix between the two. Although I worked predominately with Nicole, my interactions with her team were just as spectacular.
The reason I am writing this review is more than because Nicole is a life-safer and the best planner I have met… it is because I have come to the realization that hiring a planner was more important than having a planner with a great portfolio. In LA it is easy enough to find planners with a great portfolio, but finding someone who is a kind hearted, highly knowledgeable in Persian weddings, diligent, kind, with an amazing sense of humor and relentless compassion for the client is what it takes to make a wedding of this magnitude a success.

Nicole was such a lifesaver throughout my wedding planning experience, particularly with the day to day questions I had and especially the weekend of our big day. She provided excellent recommendations for vendors to use. That saved us time sorting through so many vendor options. She was available to me by text day or night in the year leading up to my wedding. I appreciated the 1-on-1 approach. I was more responsive and comfortable texting rather than using email and Nicole was totally ok with that whereas some might not be, but Nicole’s approach is to wholeheartedly support her client and conform to their needs and it was evident in the communication style. I always felt like she was on my side. When I needed more info from vendors, or wanted to expedite the tasting, she was there for me and made it happen and always vouched for me. The florist I loved was unavailable on my wedding weekend when I initially contacted on my own, but Nicole pulled strings, used her connections and walllla! We had the florist I wanted for my wedding. That is just one example of one of the amazing reasons why I am so happy to have had Nicole plan my wedding. On wedding weekend, she calmed my nerves and helped me focus on having fun and enjoying time with my new husband and our family and friends. She encouraged me to relax and let her team take care of everything. Our wedding was stunning and exactly what we had envisioned, and I know that Nicole helped make that dream a reality. I saw her designs prior and knew she could do ours, but it is different when you walk into the room and see it in person. She is so professional, fun, and easy to work with, and I'm so thankful to have had her by my side throughout the wedding planning process and on my wedding weekend.

The ladies at Dreams in Detail were fantastic. We are so happy to have hired them as our day of coordinators! They thought of everything and were prepared for any problem that could occur. As an unorganized person myself I can appreciate the attention to detail and contingency plans. The level of service surpassed what we expected! I think we thought we would hire a team to run the day as listed on our timeline we created but we got so much more than that. Nicole met wit us several times, never rushed us and corrected our mistakes and timeline mishaps. She offered professional suggestions for vendors and helped us with our planning even though we only hired her for day of coordination. She saw that we were struggling and offered vendors that would work for our wedding. On the day of the rehearsal they took charge and remained in charge until the wedding ended. I never felt lost of confused as to what should happen next. This was greatly appreciated as I was able to enjoy my special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding. Nicole's knowledge is invaluable and they aren’t the type to leave you hanging if you need help in other areas, I felt well taken care of and confident in my wedding the entire time.

Nicole and her assistants did an amazing job with our wedding. We hired Dreams in Detailfor the weekend of wedding coordinator. They coordinated our welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. We found Nicole on Instagram and were drawn to her. We spoke here and there, and she was always a positive person who was quite knowledgeable so when I was engaged I already knew who I was interested in hiring when the time came. She was even more than that in person! When we met she was gracious and I felt like I was meeting a long-time pen pal or old friend. She was top notch at responding to text and phone calls the month of the wedding! Her work is impeccable. The details, the colors, the lighting, the small suggestions she gave that made a difference in the final aesthetic was unbelievable. On the day of she did an awesome job rounding up our crew to where they needed to be, being at the reception venue to let in our vendors and taking care of any mishaps throughout the day. Our day would not have been the same without her! So glad to have met her, worked with her and I look forward to keeping in touch for when it is time for my baby shower, future kids’ parties, etc. She was worth EVERY penny!

Nicole is passionate about making an event suit each client's needs and wants perfectly. She listens to what they want and need. I watched a wedding unfold this weekend seamlessly for an international couple. She put the couple at ease many times because she had a good rapport with them. There was never a rushed moment which allowed the couple to be present during every event. My two thumbs are up for this planner!

Nicole provided décor for my wedding in Los Angeles. She listened to what I needed and made it happen! There was never a “no, sorry, we do not have that” Nicole and her team will source what you need and add it to inventory! I found myself texting her pictures of props I wanted from pinterest or Instagram and asked for them to be bigger or smaller or a different color and her creations fit my exact vision. I even needed balloon garlands for my rehearsal last minute and she set them up in record time! I could not be happier about her range of services. I didn’t have to pay for a bunch of companies to bring props and decorations and get charged a delivery fee for each item because I could not find a vendor who provided or would create everything I wanted. This is why I am raving about her work because it is so rare and people need to hear about it. She added extra quantities to the order and I didn’t notice until my bridesmaid pointed it out and I am just so thankful for the time she takes to create. I could go and on about how elegant and creative her props and signage were but to keep it simple, here are the highlights:
-Great design recommendations that fit within my venue and theme
-Excellent communication and ability to create exactly what I wanted
-Professional demeanor and management of expectations
-Considerate of budget needs and able to provide creative suggestions
-High quality décor items that look never before used
-Multiple designers on site with the ability to pay for more if we needed set up to be even faster
-Flawless presentation that left an impression on guests, I had multiple guests ask me for their card
-Open to ideas no matter how ridiculous without making me feel ignored
-Transparent about the cost of everything and suggested payment plan options to accommodate all the wedding costs at once

We had our wedding moved up due to an illness in the family and Dreams In Detail was able to work with us on our fluctuating wedding date and be there throughout all of the changes. We were thinking of doing a few DIY projects to provide décor but it soon became too much work and DID stepped in. They mapped our the floor plan of our venue and listened to my input on everything even though I didn’t know what I was doing they listened and then refined what I was going for. We did not have to load up a truck of décor, nick knacks and candles because they took care of that. They did the delivery, set up, break down, and we were over the moon happy with the results. There is not one thing I would have changed. The time the venue gave them was 1 hour to set up the ceremony due to a prior event so it goes without saying that when I was walking down the aisle on time at 5pm sharp, I was thrilled! If you are looking for an elegant wedding with a timeless touch then dreams in detail is perfect for you!
They key to my review is the amazing quality of work dreams in detail produces. They were able to listen to look we wanted and produce décor with high quality. We were very vague when we discussed our goals and they clearly understood. I will be proud to look back on our wedding photos at such great taste that is displayed in every detail.

As the mother of the groom I cannot express how heavenly and magical this wedding and reception was. NOTHING, absolutely nothing was left to chance. The caliber of professionalism was untouchable. The weather did not cooperate but Dreams In Detail did not let it dampen our wedding, they were poised under pressure and were a joy to work with. I wish there was a 10 out of 10 rating because I would give it! No words to truly express the level of stress alleviated by having dreams in detail throughout the whole planning process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

So somehow I have decided that today is the day that I write all my wedding reviews so here we go folks.. First up is Dreams In Detail Weddings & Events.

Once we decided what city we wanted to get married in SoCal we began to look for wedding planners. Then we interviewed a few and it was no contest because Nicole Harris was #1 on our list.
We were concerned about the overall cost of her fee and the wedding costs and we were honest about our reservations. Nicole assured us that we could have the wedding I wanted within the budget we presented her with. If there was ever an idea that I had that was outside of the budget later during the planning process Nicole would be open with me about how that exceeds the budget and why we can’t make that decision or offered an alternative that better fit our budget. I am thankful that I did not walk away from my wedding in debt and am so happy we picked such a responsible and budget conscious planner.
Here is where dreams in detail went above and beyond the line of duty… halfway into wedding planning my grandma became sick quite suddenly. Nicole suggested that we move the wedding up 5 weeks earlier to avoid not having my grandma there on the biggest day in my life. Nicole’s team was incredibly flexible and spoke with vendors and the venue to change our date. Think about it, there were invitations already sent, caterers booked, venue deposit locked in and somehow her team managed to change the date without a hitch! It is unbelievable to me that I have found such a selfless planner who did not think of the inconvenience it was causing to change my date, but instead offered to change the date and handled it. My grandma was there on my wedding day and it is something I will never forget! I can not thank dreams in detail enough. You have given me memories that I would have otherwise missed out on.
I attribute a huge portion of my happiness on my wedding day to hiring Dreams In Detail Weddings & Events.

There are not enough stars to tell you how great this team of Women are!!! There was not one task that was too small or too large for them and always completed it with a smile. Their vision for planning is so great because they don't try to take over they listened to me and really captured what I want. Working with the group I feel like they not only were my Wedding Planners but I feel they are now my friends because planning a wedding is so intimate you have to love and trust who you work with and I trusted them every step of the way. Mywedding was a beautiful experience and we owe it all to Dreams in Detail they are the BEST!!!!!

Nicole is Best.

You can tell when you attend an event that Nicole manages. Everything is seamless and executed in a manor unmatched in the industry. No one is running around confused or frantic. The poise is always that I look for because in this industry you cannot get frazzled easily. I highly recommend her and hope prospective clients and future brides will hire her and experience this bliss for themselves.

Dreams in Detail is truly phenomenal. Although, this was a 30th birthday party and not a wedding, Nicole treated our event with the detail and enthusiasm of a large wedding. She was professional at every step of planning and helped with details and suggestions. One would be surprised at the number of steps to be taken in dealing with a caterer and equipment for an outdoor event. Nicole was on top of every change and addition. It is a pleasure to work with her. When it is time for my wedding Iwill definitely contact Dreams in Detail!

I can’t thank Nicole enough for her help for my daughter’s wedding. It was a brilliant choice to hire her and her team. They were simply amazing! We had 140 guests at our venue, which is an “a la carte” venue, so you need to provide your own catering, alcohol, decorating etc. We knew we needed help to make it a special event. As soon as they got involved, we felt like a weight had lifted from our shoulders. They were extremely organized and we spent hours in the initial meeting going over wedding details: must haves, timeline, decorating and so many things we’d never considered. They helped create the exact ambiance we wanted. We loved how hand on the design was especially! Their floor plans, presentations, mood boards and example created a special feeling like we were really important and heard. It was everything our daughter and son-in-law wanted. They were even better on-the-fly, dealing with everything that came up: hemming a bridesmaid’s dress after a wardrobe malfunction, proactively assisting guests with limited mobility, whatever it was someone on the team was always handy when we needed anything. We’re grateful to Nicole and her team for making it a special day and we heartily recommend Dreams in Detail for any event!

Hiring Nicole was one of the best decisions

Hiring Nicole was one of the best decisions that we made with our wedding! She is extremely professional and does everything possible to make the process virtually stress free. Planning can be very overwhelming as there are so many choices in the wedding industry. Nicole helped us feel confident in all of the decisions that we made along the way. She made sure that we were not cheated, while also keeping us grounded if an offer was too good to be true. She wanted to ensure that we had exactly what we wanted on our wedding day! We would absolutely hire Dreams in Details again for our anniversary or future celebrations given the opportunity.

Had such a great evening

Had such a great evening at the Four Seasons! The wedding weekend was an absolute dream and dreams in detail took care of every single detail from the welcome bags to the hangover kits delivered to the rooms in the middle of the wedding, so guests can use them afterward. The venue was recommended by Nicole and I truly see why! It was gorgeous and Nicole’s connections and relationship with the Four Seasons allowed us to be given amazing treatment as we booked the venue rather late as we hired Nicole late in the game, but they accommodated all of our needs and Nicole and the venue bent over backwards to make sure that all guests were taken care of. Amazing customer service is hard to find, but these girls have it down! Thank you for everything.

Amazing Service.

Dreams in Detail was amazing to work with! From our first meeting to our wedding day, they cared so much about making our wedding vision come to life. The questions Nicole asked were more than the basic Q&A other planners have asked. I really felt that our wedding coordinator, Nicole, cared about making our day as special as can be. She went above and beyond to help with vendors and making decisions and really took a lot of stress off of our plate. Her suggestions and insight were priceless, and we felt instantly comfortable taking to her about money and budget. She was extremely honest and transparent so a discussion I thought would be awkward ended up being smooth. Thank you thank you thank you!

Nicole did a phenomenal job.

Nicole did a phenomenal job. The entire team is wonderful; very approachable, helpful and understanding staff.They worked with us for our Engagement Party and Wedding and made everything look way beyond our expectations. They really work with you, exactly what you want and focus on everything from colors of draping to every single little detail. There’s numerous designs and things to pick from, and the team always has great ideas up their sleeve. They helped me be so decisive and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!!

We can’t thank her enough!

We worked with Nicole as our coordinator for our wedding, and she was absolutely delightful! She was organized, thoughtful, and even thought of important questions for wedding planning that I hadn’t considered. On the day of the wedding we completely trusted her to set up our decor exactly how we wanted - and it was perfect! We had several props and crafts that we needed to have added and frames, loose décor items, and guest table items that needed to be placed and their design eye was evident. They turn the ordinary into extraordinary. I loved how they asked the florist for complimentary loose roses to add to the card/gift table. She really knows how to exceed expectations and making the most of our wedding! We can’t thank her enough!

I have had the privilege of working with Dreams in Detail on several occasions and EVERY time their team is professional, creative and always putting their clients first! I see the behind the scenes, so I know how above and beyond they go for their clients by hiring runners to do last minute errands the bridal party forgot to do, purchasing items and making last minute adjustments on the day of to accommodate the bridal party in any way. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about them honestly! They care. It is as simple as that. They care about the wedding, the bride’s mindset, the stress-free atmosphere on the day of the event and they are definitely my go-to when referring my clients to the best!

Dreams in Detail is the epitome of professionalism. From their structured floor plans, layouts, contracts, invoicing methods, etc. I was blown away with every part of the process because they were so on top of things and use technology within their events. Their service is elite and the level of experience they bring can't be ignored. I am impressed with their detailed timelines where they leave nothing to chance. What I love about Dreams In Detail is their ability to transform into whatever the event requires of them at the time – an extra hand for the florist, catering staff, wedding planner, designer, chauffer, runner, host, emcee, etc. They step in wherever they can and are a jack of all trades for sure. Their team steps in to help all vendors if they need an extra hand, are running behind, etc. It is phenomenal to see the selflessness, when watching them perform duties outside of what is listed on their contract.
